I love seeing groups of Greyhounds! So much fun, and they’re so awkward at first. We actually got to see a bunch yesterday, probably about 15 or so. I kind of lost count, and there were a few that looked alike. Lol there were even 2 hounds with 1 eye. I had to double take because their eyes were opposite. One was missing his left, the other missing his right. I’m terrible at taking pictures in the moment though. I hope the organizers post a bunch of pictures.
That sounds incredible! We need more meets up like that! Pedro has another friend, he's a massive brindle greyhound called Theo.. he's completely blind. It's so sweet watching them play. Theo only tends to be comfortable around other sighthounds. A meet up would be grand 😂
Side note: I just had my first cuddle sesh with Dragon. She randomly crawled up on the couch and my lap. Lol I think she’s being extra sweet for her breakfast though. Lol
Well, her and I will have to establish some rules and maybe a safe word. Lol the position was not ideal and the explosive zoomies were almost too much. Lol
I wish they did them more often around here. I understand they can be expensive and stressful to organize though. Especially for a nonprofit organization. Lol we did manage to make some Greyhound friends that live in the same town as us. Hopefully Dragon will be having some play dates soon. The couple has 3 of them. Seems like an energetic household. Lol
My boy and girl both do the same biting the bed zooming. It is really cute but they tend to tear holes in the beds. Try to redirect them to toys but they consider beds as toys too.
