All the mixr.s is for the prod smacker, the pinch whacker is the same weapon pretty much just less powerful and accessible much earlier in the game

Since it doesn't pause (most games don't) during some activities it's handy.
Why open your menu to switch to the mace tho? You don't have multiple weapon wheels?
You need to learn to use your ears more effectively. I could hear that wolf spider's feet walking starting at 0:02 in the video. Should have been very easy to avoid, or at least switch weapons ahead of time
