EatThatPotato

ghostymawth

holy shit what a question

TotallyNotAHostage

Not everyone had a dad that loved them enough to tell them what a distortion pedal is

TLTI-MCBiscuit

My dad doesn’t know what a distortion pedal is, pretty sure he loves me though. Could be a situation like that.

Utilitarian_Proxy

Ditto. My dad was a cars and bikes guy, and listened to Mantovani's or Bert Kaempfert's Orchestras not rock.

“Welcome to ‘How to Make Rock Sounds’. If you’ll open the syllabus for the first semester….”

Alex_the_subarist

Palm muting is a cool technique frequently used with power chords (which are like the low part of a barre chord, you only need 2 or 3 fingers for these, very easy!) Learn these and you can sound rocky

PonyKiller81

I've never used a BCP amp. If it doesn't have a drive effect you will need a drive or distortion pedal.
