Basically anything with a humbucker in the bridge position will work. If you're willing to go second hand you can get great guitars for that money (even new).
This is too true, one of my 7 strings just has an empty neck pickup slot because why bother. In my broke boy days I got a used dean vendetta 7 for 100 bucks online guitar center, threw nazgul pickups in the bridge and had a great sounding setup for 200 bucks.
Yeah. Depending on the type of metal stick a couple bucks back for a Ratt or that yellow boss distortion pedal (sd2??) or say a big muff and I’d say you’re grood
There are more than a couple of really solid options in your particular price range.

Then it becomes a matter of personal preference and taste. See if any of these are available in your local area and try them out!
If you feel comfortable with Ibanez then look for an RG within your price range. In particular look for preowned ones as you may find a higher spec one for the price you’d pay for a lower model new.
Ltd Volsung
It's the Lars Fredriksen signature guitar. There's a budget version (volsung 200) with clone pickups in your price range of you can find one used, a mid version with his signature "dirty middle finger" pickups that will also work if you find one used, maybe a tad higher, but totally worth stretching your budget as far as it'll go, and the version I have, which is just the Volsung, which is $1500 to $1700 depending on the finish, but, I paid $750 for mine used.
I'd say grab the 200 and when you can put his signature emg dmf pickups in. The original version came with Seymour Duncan dmf pickups, and only came in a terrible ugly Danish camo color. That's the one I have, but Lars put the emg pickups in before I bought it.
I can second the Pacifica, have an ancient one, survives most anything, stays in tune, very comfortable to play, not too heavy either. Not flashy or anything, but I do love it.
Also, Harley Benton Amarok stuff is insane value for the money.
They've gone up in price from a few years ago, but ESP LTD guitars are worth considering. I bought an EC-401 with active Emg pickups for 600 new a few years ago. The ec-401 and ec-1000 are more like 1000 new now, but you can still find used and the active Emg pickups are great for heavy music. There's also an ec-256 model for 500 new now, but I don't think it has active Emg pickups, just regular humbuckers
Anything with a humbucker, even a Strat works. Now if you really want to make your mark, get a telecaster with a hot single coil. It definitely won’t sound like that boosted metal tone everyone else has
The world is your oyster with these criteria. Ibanez, Jackson, Schecter, LTD, all of them have tons of options in that price range and are mainstays for metal.
Really what matters more for the sound you're after is the amp and a clean boost overdrive pedal. You'll want an amp with a modern high-gain voicing (i.e. not super fuzzy) and an overdrive that you can set up as a clean boost (drive/gain at 0 and volume cranked).
Might as well just get an Ibanez in that range. I don’t think you’d like LTD’s as much, they often have much rounder necks than what you’d be used to with an Ibanez. Not all of them but generally, yes.
Depends on the amp. Only type of overdrive pedal I’ve needed for the type of metal op is talking about is ts9 or a clone thereof. Cuts some lows and gets the chugs super tight, add some volume on the pedal for more gain than your amp is capable of on its own, or just a hair from the distortion knob for some extra harmonics.
For a guitar as mentioned previously. anything with a bridge humbucker will do it. I personally like ESP/LTD in that price range, schecter makes some nice guitars in that range as well. If your ok with used guitars and you can try them out first, you can get a lot more for your money.
But at the end of the day, your amp will be the determining factor for the tones your looking for.
Ibanez is a safe bet. I have S520. It's in this price range. Good guitar. The "Floyd Rose" system has its quirks. Tuning it is a bit annoying. It's not the top of the line bridge, so these things are to be expected.
If I was getting this to play in a band, id probably go with the hard tail version of the exact same guitar. I really like the super thin body and the Ibanez neck
And maybe spend some left over money to swap out one of the pickups if you're looking for a specific sound.

Ibanez or Jackson guitars should fit the budget maybe a Schecter try getting a used one off Craigslist
Any specific models I should look for?
Rg ibanez models are tasty. I even have a grg121dx humbucker with that sick shark tooth fretboard
Jackson Js32
Schecter Omen extreme C-6

Holy sh, dude THANKS. You went above an beyond, this is so much more then I expected!
My pleasure, man. Hope you'll find something that'll fit your taste!
I‘d go for a second hand charvel mexiko
Damn fine option! \+1 Upvoted
Ibanez RGs should fall below 600. Spend the difference on a decent setup (tell them what style of metal you are playing) and you'll be in business.
Thanks. Not decided on the exact genre but something along the lines of Lamb Of God and Gojira with some modern influence.
Trem or no trem?
if you are a begginner. İ think you should prefer İbanez or Jackson guitar.

Thank you a lot! I'll try to find a used one, you've helped!

It's likely going to be an ESP with Duncans or EMGs.
I put emgs in my rg oooh they are tasty. I do love esps

I’d say a ibanez
I do recommend S by Solar for that price. Those are made to play metal and they are good enough.
Being into Ibanez, you're already on the right road
Might as well just get an Ibanez in that range. I don’t think you’d like LTD’s as much, they often have much rounder necks than what you’d be used to with an Ibanez. Not all of them but generally, yes.
Can't go wrong with an Ibanez RG.
The harley benton amarok is a fantastic guitar for the money.
