Not like this, but I broke my hand once. After the cast came off I started playing again immediately. The specialist I saw actually said it was good rehab for my hand. I would just ask the doctor when you see them and they can give you a good estimate. But everybody heals differently and it will depend on the severity of your injury. DO NOT stress it too hard too early though or you could reinjur it or delay your recovery. Just follow your doctor’s instructions.

Yeah, I figured it would be good rehab. Currently rehabbing my foot from breaking it earlier this year. It sucks when you're too broken to do any of your hobbies.
I'm hoping this finger doesn't need surgery, but I guess I'll see. I'll ask the specialist about recovery times when I see them.
