I have 2 Boss WL50's. I can walk through the whole house to the other side, so 3 walls in the way, and it's fine. I can walk out into the backyard 10-15 yards? It's a brick house, and that's terrible for reception so it's getting that good of a signal through the exterior wall (and a door right in the middle).
I have the WL-20 and it's awesome for playing around the house or for jamming with friends, but I've heard mediocre things from people who want to use it in larger venues. I'm not sure it's really going to give you what you're looking for.
My advice, don't be that guy.
100% this. When I played live I wanted people as far away from my guitar as possible too.
Sennheiser G3 or G4 would be the best. Followed by sure.
