thatguy11m

Excessive? Maybe. But if it works for you to have that drilled, then that's good as well.

NorthpawKun

If that’s the best way of studying for you, I wouldn’t call it wasting. Pero a suggestion lang, you can watch Youtube videos on the LTO questions that pop up sa exam, familiarize yourself with them, and since medyo common sense naman most questions, it’s easy to paas. Purely off common sense and yt vids lang I got 60/60 sa LTO Main. Pero everyone’s way of studying naman is different.

ConfusedRooster

\+1, took the computerized exam last year and failed because a lot of the questions were unfamiliar to me or were very situational. Found out that most of the questions and answers are in Youtube (the exam facilitator even recommended to look it up). Passed the 2nd time around with 57/60.

Leezy01

Can you share the video?

zhaoren_

Yes pls! I’d like to share it to someone who failed twice

ConfusedRooster

I used the reviewer videos from CarWahe [HERE](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lEv-MrzQEic).

zhaoren_

Thanks! Appreciate it

NorthpawKun

Hello! Highly recommend CarWahe’s channel :> yun yung channel na ginamit ko for my exam. Usually marami naman sa yt pero I used his in particular.

coolkidsince1993

Can you share what keywords you typed when searching? Thanks!

NorthpawKun

Search for CarWahe’s vids po on youtube!

rizaAaaaaA3

+1!! i got 56/60 😜

Icynrvna

movingcloser

So regardless kung ano g lisensya kukunin mo? Iisa lang exam?

Icynrvna

Seems like ganun nga. Ohers can chime in to confirm

plantito101

Confirmed. Walang kwenta lol.

jeric_C137

Can confirm. When I first got my license 2 years ago pang motor lang kinuha ko pero maraming questions ang pang car.

kenikonipie

It makes still makes sense to know considering you are sharing the road. Would you not want to know what are the stopping distances of trucks and cars or their blind spots?

Floppy_Jet1123

Yup. Utter incompetence.

Consistent_Ad_8305

kenikonipie

Did you guys not check the license categories? This is taught if you went to driving school

kenikonipie

Restriction types: 1. Motorcycles/motorized tricycles 2. Vehicle up to 4500 kgs gross vehicle weight (meaning, kasama ang motorcycles na pasok, manual and automatic) 3. Vehicle above 4500 kgs g v w 4. Automatic clutch up to 4500 g v w 5. Automatic clutch above 4500 g v w 6. Articulated vehicle 1600 kgs g v w & below 7. Articulated vehicle 1601 up to 4500 kgs g v w 8. Articulated vehicle 4501 kgs & above g v w

vaPAMPANGA

Di na ganyan category ngayon. You could check LTO website. And if dati 1 and 2 yung restrictions mo. For sure A A1 B B1 B2 na restrictions mo ngayon

Icynrvna

Kakacheck ko lng and bago na nga. So bka nasa luma pa din nakabase ung questions or sets. I mean me point din naman malaman kung ano ang tama for other vehicles types pero it could have been specialized. Also the old category system doesnt make sense, napala layo ng driving skills for a motorcycle compared to a car.

AdministrationOk3911

Can confirm. Nag-apply ako license for AT pero may tanong about motorcycles and manual cars. (I failed by one point). 🥲

saywhutfam

kenikonipie

Tulad ng? I remember questions on stopping distance, blind spots, center of mass positioning if a truck is on a banked road, rules on lanes, and others on sharing the road with trucks like how much space do they need to maneuver especially at u-turns and corners, passing trucks, etc. You need to know about these vehicles because you share the road with them.

kenikonipie

Because it depends on your license. I learned to drive in Japan and got my Philippine license once I came back for vacation. For both countries, the license they provide is not limited to one vehicle. For example, for my non-pro driver’s license the restrictions are that I can drive only vehicles that are up to 4500 kgs gross weight. That includes motorcycles and both manual and automatic transmission vehicles. In Japan they specify engine details as well. In mine, I can drive motorcycles up to 125 cc, so only small motorcycles or mopeds. The license restrictions kinda shows that to get a certain category of license you need to know everything you need to do for all the types of vehicles covered.

RarePost

random pa.

Snoo_45402

Yes meron nga nitong question na to. Wala ako idea kasi di naman ako nag-momotor.

yoginiph

No, you’re not! I failed 3x 😬 Make sure to take it on a language na you’re most comfortable with, I failed the tagalog one twice! And yes it is unli take but if you fail I think the waiting time is one month before you can take again.

Puzzled_Commercial19

True. I downloaded an app tapos pinili ko tagalog. When i chose english, mas madali pala

xtian14

3x talaga? I wonder how I passed the written exam without reviewing.

superjeenyuhs

i think sa matagal na na nagdrive, questions are easy but for us newbies, mahirap since wala pa kami driving experience when we took the exam except when we took our driving lessons.

yoginiph

Yes, it didn’t help that I was a commuter and a passenger princess all my life. I never really paid attention to the traffic rules until I had my driving lessons which was enough to learn how to drive but not enough to learn all the rules hehe.

Armasxi

Yes for long time drivers and who mind knowing roadsign. At's a plus if you try youtubing it

krabbypat

Sa LTO office kung saan ako nag-written exam noon, there were traffic signs/rules literally around the room. You just need to have a good eyesight.

Interesting_Spare

Yep.

Sixteen_Wings

As long as you're relaxed during the test you should be ok

jmvincent25

how relaxed?

dualfire_

At first, the time seems too little for the number of questions. It tends to give a sense of pressure. Pero there are a lot of easy questions which would take you about 10 secs to answer (e.g. the road signs). If you find some of the questions hard or confusing, you can take your time to analyze it; don't rush. Pero always take into consideration din kung ilang questions pa yung di mo nasasagutan v.s. the time left.

Rabbits_paw06

External_Inflation_3

Agree. Sana lahat ng gumagamit ng kalsada ganyan kasigasig mag-aral ng traffic rules at road signs. Car owners, naka-biker, motor, e-bike, skateboard, o pedestrian, pag alam yan at sinusunod yan, feeling ko less traffic at less accidents. :D

AttorneyPrevious8539

The more familiar and obedient everyone is with knowledge and rules, the better but manually making index cards for these is overkill imo.

e30ernest

This brings me memories. :D The father of one of my closest friends at the time I was about to take the test was the writer of one of the textbooks on traffic rules and regulations used to teach MMDA enforcers so he was really strict with abiding with traffic rules. In addition to that, he was also a private pilot so he was very strict when it came with procedures. When he found out I had my learning permit, he would not allow me to get my license until he personally did my practical driving test. His rationale (one that I understand now as a father myself) was that if his son was going to ride with me, I'd better be competent behind the wheel. Back then, the LTO driving test at Mandaluyong was just to drive around the rotunda. If you brought your own cars, you automatically passed. That will not do for my friend's dad. No, he took me around Mandaluyong, Pasig and QC for an hour long practical test. He was navigating for me telling me which roads to take. He sometimes threw curveballs at me asking me to do some thing illegal perhaps (like turning left in a no left turn intersection) or trying to catch me off-guard with very late directions (the correct way was not to make sudden decisions and just take the next road). Super stressful! I passed his test and I was able to do my written exam and get my license. He passed away some years ago but I am eternally grateful for the lessons he taught me that day.

wetseabreeze

You're not. Medyo tricky talaga ang exam and maraming bumabagsak. Good on them for not giving up and resorting to fixers. I will say if isinapuso mo pakikinig sa seminar, baka you wouldn't need to review this hard. But of course nasa tao din yan. Most of the actual driving stuff like rules, decision making, signs, etc. from my time were pretty easy. Pero yung mga specific numbers like length of time of penalties, size ng mga multa, distance of objects, yung medyo mahirap.

[deleted]

No. Mas sayang oras mo pag bumagsak ka sa exam. Sabi nga, - Fail to prepare, prepare to fail.

madalumdom

While waiting tawagin name ko for the computer test, nagreview ako for about 30 minutes using the slides provided sa e-learning tab sa LTMS portal. Enough naman to pass in one try, I got 30/40.

stankyperfume86

You do you. Theres nothing wrong with that, I too was paranoid before the exam. Best is to check the latest reviewers, mali yung material na nareview ko, iba iba yung tanong vs sa nabasa ko, like gaya nung sabi ng isang comment na yung size of box pati mga RA 111 something.. pag nasa LTO ka, basahin mo yung mga nakapaskil, andun yung ibang sagot. Gluck!

KV4000

rambling_reader

Penge copy 🥰

Embarrassed_Bet_4601

Okay lang yan. If diyan ka sanay or work mas okay. Kaya nung 2nd day kahit papano naka 57/60 na ako. Goodluck 🔥

Additional_Gur9964

You would be one of the few people who deserve to drive on the road

SafelyLandedMoon

You're not overthinking. You're absolutely being a responsible soon-to-be driver. Doing that will soon save a lot of lives.

ghetto_engine

LazyEquivalent9986

My only tip is: Read the question multiple times to make sure that you really understand it. Nakaka lito ang phrasing nila mapa tagalog or english.

markieeee0217

Try to practice answering dun sa lto portal. Same2 lang questions na lalabas. Promise.

peregrine061

thewhyyoffryy

Sometimes the answers are with reach, literally. 🤣 nasa walls lang yung iba 🤣

cozibelieve

It’s good attitude unlike most of drivers here, and it’s useful when you drive abroad as well.

krenerkun

It depends. Kung nakinig kang maigi sa TDC course mo, almost no need na mag self study unless, you need retainer review. Tips: WanderJ used to post vids about LTO exam and it's almost 90% identical to actual exam, so better watch at least the latest post for you to get an idea what to study and whatnot

hyvaystava

If it works for you, then why not! Kudos to you OP for not winging it!

Angel_Jean69

fortune favors the prepared..kung dyan ka comfortable it's just fine

Giantgorgonzola

I did this the first time 😅 pero sa sobrang anxious ko nawala ng lahat ng yan pati sa pag pili kung english ba or tagalog ang kukunin kong exam kinabahan ako hahaha

tim00007

This is great! But unfortunately 90% of the drivers you will meet on the road doesn’t even know what a double solid yellow line means.

Astrono_mimi

Hahaha I didn't make flash cards, but I listened to the reviewer videos on YouTube whenever I had the chance. I even reviewed my car's manual to be sure. What I can say though was that the exam questions were not nonsense. Mapapaisip ka nga talaga kung sino may right of way, ano gagawin sa sitwasyon, etc. Good luck!

[deleted]

Wasting hahaa. Unli take naman yung exam. Idk for new drivers. Pero pag renewal unli take sya. Tapos makikita mo pa yung correct answers after. So sa take 2 sure pass 🤣

Good_Evening_4145

Okay to review kahit sa tingin mo over-preparation. I watched at least 4 hours of the LTO videos. After I got my (renewed) DL, I can identify mga wrong things na ginagawa ng maraming drivers which I previously thought weren't (minsan natatandaan ko pa corresponding fines dun sa mga violations). Lol. If it helps in becoming a better driver and not just to pass the exams. Good luck OP. Tip: wag kalimutan mag seatbelt/helmet sa practical exam.

[deleted]

_haema_

Nope. That review style is valid. Don't be afraid to be the smartest person in the streets.

darthvader93

Are you a nerd? Only a nerd gets paranoid about driving tests. Lmao. Pathetic

frenchfries717

helpplsimastudent

No, thats fine ako nag rereview ng paulit-ulit habang naghihintay ng exam increasing the chance na pumasa, madami din kasi bumabagsak kasi hindi sila ready, gamit ko is yung mga online quizzes, lumabas naman yung mga questions sa mismong exam

arsenejoestar

Yung written exam ko 13 years ago yung sagot nasa poster sa pader nung exam room. Sa main LTO branch pa to

Danny-Tamales

Look for Carwahe on youtube. Most questions sa LTO ay nandoon as in word for word.

cotxdx

For the most part, naipasa ko yung exam ng 10 years validity. Pero yung exam ng pro license, out of this world ang tanong. Naibagsak ko yung exam ng first take, kaya nag-take 2 ako sa exam. Masakit lang sa bulsa kada retake. Better be safe than sorry, OP.

CaptainHaw

Since matapos ako pdc last week, I keep on searching, watching youtube guide for taking non-pro DL. Panay check din san okay or maganda mag take ng non-pro, kaya sobrang nakakaparanoid talaga, gusto ko maipasa ng 1 take lang lahat as much as possible pero nakakaba, habang nag iintay. Sana maipasa natin, goodluck to both of us.

stinkytofv

Zen25R

Tricky na exam ngayon compared dati. Pero maraming dumps sa internet. Take time to review those. 2weeks lang ang waiting time afaik kapag nag fail.

Gravity-Gravity

Tbh its more on common sense. I took online tdc and let it play non stop and i didnt even watch it. Its better to review online like practice tests online para yung information na kailangan mo is condensed na and you only need to know the necessary things about proper road conduct, road safety, and road signs. In my case i took online exams hanggang nakabisado ko yung sagot. Sa driving exam ni LTO ang mahirap lalo na kung walang practice tho it also depends on in examiner kung mag hihigpit.

Several_Ad_3486

sorry but yes overkill

avocado1952

Good for you, petiks lang naman ang LTO exam basta alam mo yung basics. Atleast magagamit mo yan for being a good than most drivers.

Puzzled_Commercial19

That is up to you pero more on situational naman. I browsed for 1 hr before taking the exam. Pasado naman at 56/60. You do you.

misterunderscore

What helped me were YouTube videos about LTO exam. 'Yung iba dun 'yun mismo ang lalabas. Good practice. Dun lang ako nagrereview. Already got two DL codes.

adingdingdiiing

The online exam isn't that hard. Most questions can be answered by common sense. But what I found weird was it included questions about motorcycles too.

SenpaiKunosya

That’s better than failing the exam, goodluck.

law_liet-09

No, you’re not. Pero di ko pinaka rebyu yung exam, I just looked up practice questions sa internet. Halos same lumabas sa LTO test haha. The staff and I had a good laugh abt it. Edit: Most are common sense questions naman pero what got me are the legal questions.

ManongKangkong

its the easiest test i’ve answered hahahaha, pero to each his own kaya go lang kung ano gusto mo

ParticularFood9701

professionalmalder

HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA GOOD LUCK BRODIE! As for me I just kept answering the lto mock exam sa website yung 100 items as I waited for our batch to take the theoretical exam.

dairne5

Same, lol. Meron pa nga na hanggang 250 items.

Ok_Statistician_6441

There’s a mock exam online. Just go through it multiple times.

AdministrationOk3911

No. I did the same when preparing for my exam since I failed the first try by one point lol. Watched a lot of youtube videos re: LTO exam reviewers and went back and forth on the LTO manual. It worked! 😁

nyctophilic_g

lengggg

There's an app for the exam. You can practice there

Civil_Mention_6738

Wow that's alot of work. Kudos! What I did was just go through the review questions dun sa dulo ng Filipino Driver's Manual the night before ako mag exam. I bought that booklet from the driving school for P500. I got 51/60 because almost same lang yung questions na lumabas dun sa exam.

Wooden-Roll7075

Failed the exam twice. Sabi ng instructor balik daw ako the next day at pwede rumekta exam ulit since may data naman na sila sayo. Php100 ata bayad sa retake. Sabi ng instructor same lang di nung eexam, pag exam ko same lang din content.

Thin_Lead_9737

It is better to be prepared rather than regret not being prepared.

Spirited-Occasion468

Face to face na ba? AFAIK online exam pa din naman.

BlooHopper

You’ll be fine, i got mine back in 2005 it will be easy for you

JVPlanner

If renewal the test is easy. Just study the PowerPoint files in ltms.

An5fav

Yes

UnHairyDude

Lol! I never reviewed as much as you did. Best of luck!

leavingwave

Sana lahat ng student drivers katulad mo.

Fine_Nefariousness64

yes, everything you need is in the LTMS portal. Take it multiple times until you consistently pass.

hey_mattey

Basta wag ka mag overthink. Yung asawa ko nagpanic. Ayun bumagsak. Sabay pa naman kami nagtake. Iyak ng iyak. Di naman mahirap yung test tbh

bossbarako

You can google the questions on the LTO test.... Just be fast enough because the test online has a time limit... 👉👈

IWantMyYandere

TBH yeah. Madalas yung mga sagot nasa walls lang din or common sense pero you do you kung saan ka comfortable and confident. There is nothing wrong with being prepared

DrewBerry432

From the looks of it, you'll be a great driver once you pass it.

Armasxi

Best take exam in english, tagalog dont translate well in the test

tikstacs

I watched the LTO reviewer videos by Carwahe and Wander J sa YouTube. I got a very good score naman. But agree with the other comments, if this works for you, bakit hindi. Don’t overthink things. Good luck!

ProfessionalLemon946

Nothing wrong with learning the traffic signage, rules and regulations. Gnyan nmn kasi tlga dapat and kudos to you for doing that. Majority of pinoys woud just "alam ko nmn mag drive, madali lng yang exam2"

hldsnfrgr

Yeah.

Qwitteez

If that works for you then go lang. although ako personally nag aral lang ako ng practice tests night before the exam. I didnt know there was yt vids for it then, literally nag exam exam nalang ako sa phone kasi may apps naman.

Interesting_Spare

You got this. Sobrang dali ng exam and you will pass with flying colors. What matters more is your real world driving application. No matter how many kamotes you encounter, always be chill, apply what you leanred and follow rules. Don't be gago just because everyone is! Stay safe.

shintoph

Intelligent-Stay-210

There was an app in playstore I used that had like. 3/4 of the questions appear. Passed the exam with flying colors haha. Excessive maybe, but not paranoid.

Dry_Shaft_102

exam is 80% situational. you have to choose in the options.. 20% mga sinage/ direction law etc.. 48/60 para pumasa.. ho got 52/60. 😅

Busy_Distance_1103

Took the test for my dad dahil hindi siya techie. Passed and got 80 something score. I don't have a license and I don't even know how to drive. For formality lang ata 'to e. Walang timer per question and most answers are searchable sa internet.

thomasthepenis

Just study the fundamentals. No point sticking religiously to what you've learned though because 80% of the drivers you'll encounter won't. irl ph driving you need to be flexible and adaptive

mksy2017alt

Pag nagoverthink ka baka dun ka pa lalo bumagsak pero its a good thing na magreview ka pero wag namang OA 😇

sundarcha

Nah, gumawa din ako ng ganito. Walang basagan ng trip. You do you.

kukupanjo

It just shows your work ethic and how much this means to you. you are a wonderful person.

Ancient-Upstairs-332

Driving is a mix of book and street smart. Talino na may kasamang diskarte. Good luck sir!

jakol016

jordenooji

May exam? Luh

lasolidaridad00612

Although the questions there are not exactly the same as that in LTO exam itself, makukuha mo yung gist ng mga driving concepts kaya nakatulong din siya sa akin. If those index cards work for you, then that should be fine. Basta wag mo siya i-take as-is, dapat gets mo rin yung underlying reasons.

SudowudoNoodle

Its pretty easy, but you do you The only question the tripped me were questions about parking on hills.

Individual_Tax407

Haha

dailyarjay

I can't blame you, because we have a deference study method, I also do a flashcard but through the app, I'm currently using vaia app it is a good app for studying, you can make a Flashcard and test yourself using it, it's a little bit expensive for me to use a index card and those printed materials, so I do a maximize the use of my pad or gadgets.

Yoreneji

Afaik, regarding sa signs like based on colors and shapes lang siya, sobrang few items lang, more on analysis yung questions and common sense so I guess di gaano uubra if puro memorization, naalala ko questions are more on intersection yielding, pedestrians, curbs, parking, stopping

[deleted]

Baka pwede peram po nyan pagkatapos nyo? Haha

Infinite-Coconut-303

I passed naman and tinapos ko kagad yung exam in like 20 mins instead of an hour dahil yung matanda na proctor tanong ng tanong ng personal questions, it felt so uncomfortable at the time kaya nag speed run na lang ako magsagot. Anyways, kaya mo yan. Pasado na yan!

pinoytransboy88

If this is the way you learn, you do you. However, fair warning. Recently took the test last October 30 and reviewed through YT. I quickly found out na ang daming new questions na wala sa YT reviewers. Not making you panic, OP. Actually majority of the questions are really common sense lang. Tipong the answer is very obvious dun sa mga questions. Lalabas don yung mga about children riding on motorcylces, measurement of the top box, meaning of lines on the road, first to stop and first to go, what to do at intersections.

Valuable-Switch-1159

Hi! Off topic, pero may test drive ba sa exam? Or written lang meron hehe

ggerjer

Also look for mock practice exams online! They’re a great help to me

PuzzleheadedCup6744

Idk, didnt study and passed with only 2 mistakes lol

kitzune113

Walang bantay yung test sa PC. Pwede ka mag google if di mo alam yung sagot haha pero kung inaral mo yung TDC or at least nakinig ka + common sense madali ipasa yung exam.

kenikonipie

Keep at it. What you are doing is better than nothing. Perhaps when you commute pay attention more to what is happening as well as your surroundings as if you are driving.

ghost-alpha

Particular_Sail5338

It doesn't hurt to be prepared. 😊

Asian_Juan

A little bit yes but nothing wrong with making sure you can pass a test. And I'm wondering how these people fail the test, isn't it really easy? I didn't even bother reviewing anything since reviewing never works for me 🤣

FantasticRich1049

Kahit perfect score mo, may mamaliin parin sa test. Dont bother

Bantrez

the answers to the exams are literally available online. even most of the questions, you can find those on the internet

Wide_Ice_7079

Pero mahirap (for me) ang exam ng non pro to pro ha. Pasang awa ako. Lol

csharp566

if it works for you, then be it.

Impressive_Amount680

Same.

They need money.

nyepoy

May reviewer dun and may test.

Chomper117

You might as well be chairman of LTO after this

Icy-Temperature-7176

Nope. Mas ok yan prepared ka.

Forsaken_Dig2754

As is po yung reviewer sa online atsaka yung actual na test. Mas mabuti po yun aralin.

blueberrybulalo

Okay yan kesa kamoteng nagpa fixer.

yo0gen3

may mark ng pencil yung answer nung nag take ako. binasa ko padin yung tanong and answer based on my knowledge.

SAHD292929

Hahaha

madocs

the test is very easy, just use your common sense and you'll pass plus the passing score is very low

sharpimpact

Negativus_Prime

No, you are doing us all a favor

ambibeeert

OA naman nito hahahahah. Andaming reviewer na available online. Mastery is the key. Or outdated lang ako? Nagka non pro ako bago ba maging mandatory ung driving school bullshit nila e. Hahaha.

shobertime

Honestly its not if it works for you. I got my license just last month and thats also how I studied. The online exam that is done in LTO was harder than the online reviewers I did and thats what made me nervous

markmarkmrk

Nothings excessive when it comes to tests. You're doing a good job and I hope you pass the test!

[deleted]

Actually its good! para di ka maisahan ng mga corrupt officials sa daan. :\] pwede mo pakita yan for ref.

DryUnderstanding2268

Asan ang lisensya mo?! Akin na ang lisensya mo!!!!!!!!! lol

Kabaleyan

Are there road rules in Philippines?

msnobody2023

meron pa nga yung mga Republic Act about s driving

boyo005

ako may app na, may hands out pa, may ganan din. If it works. then so be it. Nakapasa naman ako.

dood_phunk

Yup. But there’s nothing wrong with that. Mga kamote sa opposite side of the spectrum.

gmaxiii

Ayos na sobra wag lang kulang.

Frequent_Thanks583

When I took my exam, we were given reviewers na dun manggagaling yung mga questions. Ez lang yan

Frequent_Thanks583

18AKA

I understand if it's your first time driving and you have no driving experience whatsoever. For me, I practiced through practice exams online, there are websites that provide practice tests that may end up on the real test. And you may have an idea on what to prioritize.

Rrrreverente

You’re doing a great job. But personally, i didn’t think about the test too much beforehand. I did okay naman.

adatacram

May sample tests online. Try mo, random naman bitawan ng questions

TallDonut

What worked for me was downloading an LTO exam reviewer app. There's plenty in the Google Play store

Ok-Performer-8384

use anki instead OP

Islayyyt

Taking it twice would be wasting time. If by doing that increases your first take chances then all iz well!

Suitable-Check-9013

I think better if you watch youtube nalang rin as per other comments.

vertighorl

No. I THINK THIS IS GOOD. Sineseryoso mo nga traffic rules and it's good! Marami kase iba dyan nag papa fixer tas simpleng traffic sign di nila alam.

luntiang_tipaklong

Lol.

Ill_Confection_8565

Personally the LTO exam was super easy for me. But if you are having fun reviewing, that is fine. Plus, having more knowledge about things won't ever hurt.
