With the sheer number of EFGF forces involved during the OYW, the EFF might not be able to supply all of them with more modern helmet patterns, hence the older M1 helmets.
the speed of technological development during the OYW is immense too, so it's entirely possible that new models of equipment start getting issued before the old ones are even fully rolled out.
During the early 2000’s you’d occasionally see the US use two different helmet styles due to the roll out timelines and unit prioritization for the new one. You’ll see that with any piece of equipment in militaries of sufficient size. I can’t say why the show is inconsistent, but that’s a real world reason for why it could be

This, it's too fresh and clean. Put it through the wash a couple of times with fabric softener and even take some sand paper to the edges you see wear in your normal clothes. Use some other techniques to give sweat stains or other signs that you're not just wearing a costume

Edit: scrolling through the comments, I see a lot of people saying it’s too clean and to throw dirt on it. If you want to distress it, I recommend wearing it to do so i.e. kneel, crawl through dirt or vegetation, sit on your helmet in the same environment. If you’re going for the “fresh from the fight” look, you may consider looking at what various muzzle breaks look like after heavy use (specifically carbon) and depending on whether you’re right or left handed, and which side the ejection port it on (I’m not familiar with any bullpups), you might put sparse, very small black spots on your face, neck, or your chest to replicate lubricant and carbon coming from the weapon as is common in overly lubricated machine guns (which that bullpup technically isn’t, but who says you weren’t on one at some point). Just don’t over do it. Think less is more with all this stuff.
Tape up loose straps too, and find anything that makes sound while you’re walking around, then find a way to stop it from making sound
You might think about lowering the bandolier as well, unless that’s screen accurate
Some black electrical tape on the canvas pouches and canteen cut out into Federation abbreviations E.F.F.

I've always found the "future" weapons used by people in Gundam series appeared to be designed by people who have never held a gun before or don't understand important things for guns like sights, bullets wouldn't fit, where magazine go? where bolt gots? Or why in the original Gundam even all the way to early 2000s, body armor in ground infantry is stuck in WW2 logic
They used to sell military-style metal cups with zeon and EFSF logos, I had one. Dunno if you can still get them anymore. Perfect for cosplaying a regular feddie grunt sipping terrible military coffee bored out of his mind.
Don't know if it's something you are able to alter, but the cuffs ought to be red from what I can see. The helmet needs the logo on it. Otherwise, awesome work.
The old school navy flight deck goggles. I feel like they would fit in with the period of the gear better than a more modern pair such as ESS or Oakley would. Also, pretty inexpensive.

Overall, a great job. However, I have complaints about the insignia. The Warrant Officer's counter-shoulder straps are too wide. In addition, they should be closely adjacent to the seam connecting the sleeve to the rest of the jacket. I suggest you change the width by 2/3 of the current size. Also, think about what title you would definitely like to wear. And which version of the insignia. The original Gundam/The Origin/Stardust Memory/Unicorn. There are differences there. In addition, there are not enough lapel insignia. These are small rectangles sewn onto the collar with duplicate insignia.
Some dirt, adds some distressing to the look. Makes you look like you've seen some action.
Unless you wanna keep it clean, which is also totally reasonable.

Maybe give the uniform a bit of a scuffed and dirty finish to the pants and dry brush the helmet and bit of paint chip to the side to give it a grazed look but honestly it's your decision and any thing you choose is up to you and you will do great
