That is a beautiful color scheme.
I just started coming back to gunpla but now that I’m older and have money , I can buy the stuff to paint and try to one day paint and detail like the rest of you all.
That’s a beauty you built .
This looks amazing! Nice work and I agree that the colors are great!I've built this kit too, but I kept a traditional color palette, now I wish I was more creative!
Great work!
My condolences - I lost my dad a little while back as well. One of my last memories of him was the two of us spending an afternoon working on the RG Wing EW together. I’d gotten him the HGUC RX-78 for Father’s Day, and after learning that he really enjoyed it, decided to show him an RG (my favourite grade). It’s always so wonderfully gratifying when we’re able to share this hobby with the people we love.
That MGEX makes me feel things. Mainly hopelessness because it'll probably be years before they make another, and more years after that that's not another Gramps.

I need a mgex freedom in my life

Beautiful, absolutely gorgeous! With that monarchical red-and-gold colour scheme, I suggest you name it the Royal Strike Freedom.
Haha. My father passed in Febuary and I started this to get my mind somewhere else but at the time I had named it Vengeful Strike Freedom.

My condolences, friend. I’d venture to say he would have been happy you chose to mourn his passing by creating something amazing.
God this is beautiful
I love seeing other folks make custom MGEX Strike Freedoms! And it looks fantastic
Mmm yeah that’s awesome.
Did you panel line the gold parts? If yes, how?
Yep. Repainted and panel lined the gold. Just my usual process of top coating it with gloss and using Tamiya panel liner!
Stunning work! Currently in the process of painting mine as well
Hopefully you share it when you finish!
I plan on it! I have a post of one of the legs completed. I am currently prepping the second leg for painting now
Ngl i think the Freedom should have always been in red instead of blue imo
It just feels so right.
What gundam kit is this?
Master Grade Extreme (MGEX) Strike Freedom
Man, I wish I could make a kit look like that. It looks phenomenal.
This is really cool! Reminds me of 90s Nautica and polo gear.
Beautiful color scheme! Great job. What brand of paint did you use?
Gaia notes. Use to use Vallejo but after giving Gaia a shot I couldn't go back.

Amazing paint job. Mind if I ask what brand of paints you used?
