May I recommend [Vallejo gun metal](https://www.amazon.com/Vallejo-Gun-Metal-Paint-17ml/dp/B005HXLQR6) and pretty much any other painting option?
(I get what you mean but honestly, you'll never a good looking gun if you're not going to paint it a bit.)

Yes! His reviews are proper, neat, full of information about the kit, good commentary and explanation, part by part review. I can’t find any channel that does review like him.

Buster. Really rock solid kit. Passed the shake test beautifully. Planning to get the duel assault shroud next.
Duel AS will sadly not pass a shake test. The AS armor pieces on the lower body barely stay attached
Still gonna get it because of the aesthetic 😅 I like military design gunpla.

Aegis is the odd one out because of the absolutely wild transformation.

This guy was the first one I built. Literally last week. Does the little shackle on his right foot also refuse to stay in place for you?
The ankle armor? Yes. I superglued the left and right part to the front part (not the peg on the inner frame)
I have had this one sitting in my backlog for years now, how is the build?
Quite smooth. Nubmarks on the green parts are annoying. Ankle armor kept popping out while posing. It’s a simple kit but surprisingly amazing.

such a shame that the HG version of this suit is in my experience the most mid suit I've built so far. Janky extra arms, balance is way off, etc.
