Bad habit to use clips on bench. If you get stuck, you have zero chance of getting out alone unless you have someone to help you. Not having them on allows you to tilt the bar and slide the plates off if you do get stuck.
No offense op, but if your stability is that bad, you should look at your form, or drop the weight. I have not once ever used clips for them. Only time I do is squats and deadlifts/rdls
Don’t ever use two clips. One is fine, but if you end up having to dump the bar in the middle of a rep, you’ll be glad you can slide off half the plates
Not only do the clips need to match, but the plates do too. Anything else is blasphemous.
Gotta get that +10% lifting buff by matching everything
absolutely not
The clips have different weights, it’s disturbing the balance of the force
i personally cannot
It’s like using different plates on either side: immediately cancelled
I don't use clips
This is chaotic evil
You cannot use two clips that don’t match. It’s madness.
I bought my own. Got tired of not being able to find any. I don't use them for many exercises, but the ones i do I kind of really need them.
You guys use clips?

For bench fine, but try bent over rowing or OHP without clips and it's a shitshow lol
