Really shows how an alien civilization would would make quick work of human regular forces, but to control a planet inhabitated by a resistant population you would need tens of billions of troops. I liked the characters, as brief they were (but hey, only three chapters!). If I HAD to make a complaint, then maybe some more in-depth alien perspective would be welcome?

Not necessarily the last installment in the setting, however. I may write an epilogue, maybe start some new stuff using this as the backdrop. It's all on the table right now.
It reminded me of Dawid Webers 'Out of the Dark'. Well, minus the fucked up ending, because mister Weber was probably high on everything he had access to when writing the last chapters. But the scene where a platoon of T-72 ambushes enemy vehicles in Balkans and the crews quickly escape after it abandoning vehicles before the whole site gets vaporized by orbital bombardement stuck with me :D It's probably how I would expect the full-size Fall of Terra to be.

Is there going to be a prologue or expansion of this? Would love to see a defenitive end, even so this is a good stop in my books as well.
