At least can we get a Daemyra reconciliation one when they meet again at the end of the season? Possibly with some light? They would be considered, you know, the main couple (of a show that isn’t really about romance but Rhaenyra is the main character pleaaase).
I don’t *need* it in a “I need more sex scenes” way but in a “main characters expressing emotions” kind of way. Daemon and Rhaenyra have chemistry to spare. Please let them express it.
I read mainly historical biographies, historical fiction, romance novels, and erotica. STOP WITH THE SEX SCENES. I just cannot. It is honestly just repulsing me because it's those two characters and I honestly thought it'd be kinda hot if they did have sex in s1. However what they did right off the bat in s2, well....them NOT doing it would've made it hotter. Alas.
There's nothing worse than a sex scene with like no build up or tension.
Just being mechanically thrown to the audience from the outset for no apparent reason.
I know they say it happened in the aftermath of Viserys' death....but that just makes zero narrative sense to me. It doesn't fit. At all. If they'd built it up to Alicent and Cole having sex before he leaves for war, then that would've been great. But instead I'm just left with the impression they've been screwing since Viserys' eyeball fell out while calling Rhaenyra everything but a child of God for having kids with ONE MAN while actively antagonizing her gay husband.
Or even if they had shown more physical tension between them while Viserys was still alive, them being kinda “I want you, but I said vows to my husband and I cannot pray to the gods in good faith if I sin while I’m married” / “I want you, but I’m afraid to be discarded by another woman above my station that’ll hold power over me after” and *then* giving in after Viserys’ death and the turmoil that followed it, maybe as a desperate “live while I’m alive” after things start to go south for the Greens… but not like this. Maybe it’s too romance-y 🤣
I care so much more about the relationship's between Aegon and Helaena, Rhaenyra and Daemon and Rhaenys and Corlys than I do about the relationship between Alicent and Cole.
Not gonna lie, I think we're going to starve on that department.
Here's to hoping that we get some victory sex in King's Landing or some reconciliation sex in Harrenhal.
Its really bad when I'd rather see Helaena/Aegon, Hugh/his wife, or Syrax/Caraxes over having to suffer thru AliCole and their non existent chemistry for a 4th time.
Unless they’re *literally* going to show Alicent giving him that hawk tuah we don’t need to see any more of them copulating while both thinking about Nyra.
Canonically Criston Cole is the only man we have seen be able to reach a climax. There is strong evidence that he fathered all the people we see in the seven kingdoms.

Like I've said that if they just added some moments during s2ep 1 and have it culminate in the riding that would have been something at the least

We need to shutdown all Alicole sex scenes in house of the dragon until we can figure out what is going on
I remain hopeful we will get an epic angsty reunion sex scene in the finale that will put the alicole ones to shame. Let me have my hope!
And the Daemyra sex scene is going to be Alys cosplaying as Rhaenyra 💀 and without a dark filter of course, lightning will be 10/10

They should never have adapted a story about Targaryens then
