So proud of him. He deserves every single second of this moment. This whole team does. Way to go Saginaw! Stayed composed and got it done when it mattered most. Can’t wait to see you kill it next year Beck!

2 goals. 19/24 (79.17%) on face-offs in the finals for Beck.
From the looks of it, Beck might be on the microscope this year. We'll see how this Memorial Cup run and his MVP will translate to results come training camp. This will be very interesting.
I see him stylistically as a Danault cutout. He is good on faceoffs, I forget how many he won but probably over 75% this game, he has a hockey IQ that allows him to take a second before doing something stupid, he has a very nice shot, he makes those around him better too. I’m excited to see him continue to grow. I feel it’s just the beginning for Beck
I see this kid improving on his defensive game. If he can lay a hard body check on Cowan, what more if he does that all the time with the Habs?
There's going to be a lot of competition. Man, mgmt. will have their work cut out for them. This is going to be (somewhat) an interesting summer.
I see him improving too defensively. He has the tools in his arsenal and I’m sure he will be working on it all summer and next year. A two-way highly skilled faceoff winner on our third line that WE developed would be MASSIVE
Stepped up when it mattered. That's the competitive spirit you like to see from your prospects.
Suzuki was like that. Caufield was like that. Slafkovsky was like that.
You need those types of personalities to win it all.
Keep adding more of those. That's how you build a winner.
It's actually crazy how many of our prospects have won championships in their respective leagues over the last few years.
OHL - Owen Beck, Arber Xhekaj, Jan Mysak, Nick Suzuki
WHL - Jared Davidson, Kaiden Guhle x2, Cole Fonstad
QMJHL - Quentin Miller (backup), Rafael Harvey-Pinard, Joel Teasdale
NCAA - Jacob Fowler, Sam Harris, Lane Hutson, Luke Tuch, Sean Farrell, Brett Stapley, Blake Biondi, Jordan Harris, Cayden Primeau, Jake Evans
Swedish J20 - Adam Engstrom, Mattias Norlinder
Awesome accomplishment, and kudos **to the person who sought & traded for Beck in Saginaw**, I bet you're looking [pretty good coming in to the office today](https://psychwardrodeo.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/90831-kramer-pimp-walk-gif-seinfeld-xi94.gif)
who called him a bust? 33rd overall pick is basically like picking after 12 in the first round. Value is available but it is rare a scout can be held fully accountable unless the decision was ideological.
Just look at recent Beck threads on this sub. I’m thinking about one in particular like 2 weeks ago where people said he would end up a 4th line center and was a bad pick.
Better not to call attention to the trolls though. Anyone who knows anything has been saying Owen Beck is a rare player. His tryout last year was impressive.
Beck kinda gives me Lehkonen vibes. May not have the most skill but he does everything well and he'll fill whatever role you ask him. I think he'll be an important player for us.
What a way to end his junior career.
For sure!
First Habs prospect to win Mem Cup MVP since …. Joël Teasdale
Feels different though
Who?
####JOËL TEASDALE
Don't yell, you will blow joel Teasdales acl again.
Too late
the very rare too soon/too late combo
ouch

BEST IN THE OHL
Insane statline. Beautiful.

imagine a Danault cutout working with Dr. Shot. This guy could be a luxury 3C

Let's add to that list : Guhle, Fowler, Hutson, Roy. There's a pattern here. And I like it!

What a gamer
Beck was so damn clutch, fantastic last game of the CHL season 😁
Dvorak out, Beck or Kapanen in
That will happen naturally in 2025.
I'm unreasonably bullish on him. It'd be great if he became the new Danault.
I know I'm a Knights fan, but holy shit Owen Beck BBY!! WHAT A GAME!
if Mesar can ever figure it out the 2022 draft will be our stars 2017 draft
That would be really neat! IIRC his last season was less than impressive, but I still have some hope.
Not even close man.
Hutson and Fowler could both become elite.
Fowler was a different draft lol
Bring that to training camp, and you'll make the team

ÇA SENT LA COUPE 25!!!
Get this guy on the big club NOW
Aimé de ses coéquipiers.
This guy looks like he'll be an excellent # 3 centerman. Absolute worse case scenario is a top-notch 4C. Plus he's got the best staredown in the game.
Ya but he’s only a top 18 player in the league… /s
Incredible
Even though I’m upset he beat my Knights last night, he played well all tournament can’t wait to see him in the big leagues
Can anyone who watched the game comment on Parekh’s performance?
Talk about a gamer. Our third line center is set.
Still hyped about this guy, I love a player like this. Playoff winners are built on really solid players and Owen Beck fits that bill.
BUST /s

Ryan Poehling 2.0 at best
