I also just did a run with a chaos boon which buffed backstab damage and that definitely worked with dash strikes. My first hammer was big chop so I'll see if I get shadow strike as my second. Stay tuned!

Yeah, hoarding description isn't great. I might be slightly off (anyone feel free to correct me, haven't played in a minute) but IIRC it's neither a percentage multiplier to your base damage, nor does it add to base damage. Instead it's a flat added damage after multipliers, and the flat number is based on 5% of your current gold. If you're hoarding obols in anticipation of this upgrade, you can end up doing 100+ bonus damage per attack if you break 2000 obols. This is of course best exploited with speedy attacks, so flurry upgrade and hermes attack speed boons are a perfect pair.
Because dadelous hammers can have a lot of rng into them because they change your moveset. I really hate getting the "slower charge more damage" one for the bow for example . With 64 heat you get locked into one of those immediately, and if you have bad rng it can ruin a run
I just don’t like em! I tend to underuse bull rush with that aspect specifically, so most of the bull rush ones go underutilized, and explosive return and empowering flight are both shit with Zeus specifically
Minotaur rush is about the only one that could force me to use bull rush more often, but I usually avoid hammers because there’s a damn good chance I get stuck with Empowering flight/ Explosive return/ Sudden Rush or something like that
That one’s on me, I didn’t know the base damage of the standard bull rush and 80 base damage didn’t seem that impressive on paper, but that is kind of crazy. There’s just a few too many stinkers for me to look at a hammer with Zeus and say I want it

I tend to dump it on a group of enemies so I can deal with something else, or dump it on more stationary enemies to stack boon effects like hangover or what have you

Me and my double dash strike combined with Artemis dash strike boon and the 200% increased backstab damage would like a word with you.
Shadow Slash (200% backstab damage) doesn't work with dash strikes.
I wasn't aware of that. Are you certain that's true because I feel like dash strikes in general benefit from backstabs.
dash strikes do in general, Shadow Slash specifically does not. It's one of the weird interactions in this game that isn't clear.

second hammer with ap2 on zeus with no cshot is a very different scenario lol
this is me when using poseidon aspect on the sword. Doesnt really need any daedalus bonuses so literally even a key room is better than a daedalus
