FallacyDog

Aspect of Macbeth for the skull. Enables friendly fire damage for all neutral NPCs

sad-frogpepe

Artemis just casually popping you with a 3k dmg crit "oops"

scarletbluejays

Heracles one shotting you for 9999 when he drops down to start an encounter. "I have no interest in speaking, Sister....Sister?" ~~"I'm going to get another labor for this aren't I?"~~

scarletbluejays

Poor Icarus is going to have a panic attack the first time he gets too distracted by Mel and carpet bombs her back to shadow. As if the arm wasn't enough of a guilt source

GladiatorDragon

Honestly, though, it'd be interesting to see an Aspect of Shakespeare. I'd like to see what they'd do with it.

Madman_Salvo

Shouldn't that be Hamlet? Macbeth would work if we had a dagger before us, though.

FallacyDog

Oh, ye that's the dude with the skull lol

LumberjacqueCousteau

The Aspect of Yarrick

ladybessyboo

Yorick!

Infinite-Service-861

that aspect of christ would be so funny

Yarigumo

They did do Lucifer last game. I think it's time.

ZeronicX

Aspect of Judas ~~You deal 2x damage when striking an enemy from behind~~ You start with 30 additional gold crowns.

Charging_in

Haha, nah, 30 additional pieces of mined silver, upon completion of a run.

quadropheniac

I like that they went all out. We’re having Satan, and we’re giving him a laser beam.

Arkayjiya

Aspect of Christ "you can't hurt enemies with the weapon itself and every enemy attack hit you twice, but when you die in the run, it counts as a win and you get free Nectar and Ambrosia. It takes you three days to respawn at base though"

Askray184

Aspect of Christ (Fishing Pole): Double all fish captured every time you capture a fish

Kinestic

Also doubles wheat seeds

hivEM1nd_

ASPECT OF CHRIST Every 3 Chambers, you regain one use of **death defiance**. Your boons that activate *when you are hit by an enemy* are twice as effective

Acceptable-Editor474

You just activated my trap card! -JC

LumberjacqueCousteau

*turns cheek*

Creatonotos

Waiiit this one's good actually

RiW-Kirby

For which weapon? Is it the axe? He's just carrying around a massive crucifix?

lifetake

Yea the OP in the post said the axe and it would be the cross he was nailed to

RiW-Kirby

Ah lol. Whoops, I guess I didn't read that. My bad.

that-and-other

The Blades - aspects of Marx and Engels - upgrades the shades you sprint into to the Ghost of Communism; most foes can decide to join a strike instead of battling you The Skull - aspect of Makhno - turns the specials into a tachanka and deals additional damage to everyone who prevents the working people from gaining freedom; you have a chance to suddenly understand that this flag doesn’t actually have any relation to Makhno and die from cringe

Entire_Border5254

Wait what was that about the flag??? T\_T

Jokerwiley

LMG MOUNTED AND READY!!!

bigmacjames

The staff - Aspect of Gordon. Changes staff into a crowbar that makes a satisfying sound when striking

PassageTurbulent8874

Special throws a headcrab

Megaf0rce

*a snark

mattxb

Aspect of fieri. Wield two spatulas and all attacks that hit create a temporary flavor splash that buffs your damage when you stand in it

KuroDragon0

That’s the third surface zone: flavortown

scarletbluejays

So THAT'S where Dionysus has been getting hammered while all of this has been going down

Oxygenisplantpoo

The Skull: Aspect of The Hot Ones - Attacks cycle through increasingly powerful splash damage, resetting after the most powerful. Omega of the special creates a random ghost to fight for you, with the risk of summoning a fake producer/dj that does 1 damage to an enemy and makes you die of cringe.

JakePerALTaccount

The daggers - Aspect of Caesar Kills the target, but only after 60 consecutive backstabs.

scarletbluejays

Fittingly, this would only be remotely viable on bosses

Wromeo13

The text says that, but it actually kills them after 23 stabs.

Redpo0l

Aspect of Arthur (again) for Zorephet, but this time it's Caliburn the Sword in Stone... With the stone still attached to it. You can't pull it out because you're not the King of Britain.

xX_Shroomslayer_Xx

"I couldn't get this rock off it, but it's still pretty cool right?"

JohnnyStyle300

That was in Aria of Sorrow and absolutely hilarious

kmasterofdarkness

Just like Big Jack Horner did in Puss in Boots.

LumberjacqueCousteau

Although Mel would be a good lady in the lake (slash bathhouse)

LagomorphicalBrog

You gotta hammer it 100 times on a wall in order to unlock its full moveset.

alphis92

aspect of nemesis for the moonstone axe? if you encounter nemesis in your run, she offers to trade weapons so you get to play with stygius again

Dopaminjutsu

Aspect of Moses: your staff turns into 1/2/3/4/5 snakes. Enemies are briefly impressed then you get your staff back. (edit: all the Daedalus hammers are the various plagues)

3DPrintedBlob

your omega cast also casts sticks to snakes in the affected area

bestoboy

Scylla sings You're Playing With The Big Boys Now when you face her

-Shadow-Lightning

What are you talking about? Those sound like absolutely banger ideas.

Entire_Border5254

[Aspect of Bophades](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MrIsMPWnEyM)

EducationalTie6109

What is updog boy?

Entire_Border5254

Not much, what about you?

EquivalentPause8593

The skulls - aspect of hamburglar. Your shells are now hamburgers but you have to steal them from enemies

Sanshuri

Nah aspect of Grimace and you shoot nuggies. Splash damage is dipping sauce and changes with elements

actualmewow

This is just Splatoon imo

Oklahom0

For the staff, Aspect of Sun Wu Kong. The Omega attack would be the staff extending forward and pushing enemies back. The Omega Special would be the staff extending during an overhead strike. This is basically the same as what's already there, but the difference is that you can't use the specials that have your omega attacks aiming in more than one direction. For the Spear in Hades 1, Aspect of Loki. This mistletoe spear does extra damage against opponents that are on your side. This would give you extra damage against Hecate (the easiest boss), Nemesis when you have that 1 specific challenge, double boon rooms, and Cerberus. But, since weapon only appears in Hades 1, then it would only be useful in double boon rooms and maybe Meg.

LumberjacqueCousteau

You missed a pretty big one in Hades 1 for the Loki idea It’s in the name of the game…

KnightofPandemonium

Aspect of Henry the 5th You get to break up with your chosen partner by attacking them. It sucks but you also get a really neat crown

3DPrintedBlob

8th?

GOTHAMKNlGHT

Moonlight Axe Aspect of Thor / Storm breaker: Take x blitz damage and deal 2x blitz damage for each strike with your weapon. You cannot accept boons from Zeus.

ukrm

Aspect of Paul bunion for the axe. Just make every hit area bigger

ackmondual

Daggars - Aspect of [Kaldalis](https://starcraft.fandom.com/wiki/Kaldalis_(Purifier)) \--- When you die and revive, you get +100% movement and +200% attack speed for the rest of the encounter Staff - Aspect of Wong Fei Hung --- If there are 30 or more enemies in an encounter, you get +100 movement speed, +100% defense, +30% evade, and +80% attack damage Staff - Aspect of The Monkey King --- You Omega Attack throws your staff at enemies, and hits multiple targets. Use the right analog stick to control it's trajectory. After your meter fills, Omega Cast creates familiars that'll fight with you. torch - Aspect of Capcom's King Arthur --- Your Attack throws a torch that sets the ground on fire. Your Omega Attack can be aimed, go further, and creates a larger fire that does more damage. axe - Aspect of Thor --- Your Omega Special teleports Melinoe along the trajectory of the blast axe - Aspect of Jack Torrance --- Every time your Attack or Omega Attack hits a foe, Melinoe screams out "***Here's Johnny!***". Your Attacks have +50% power, but your madness meter gradually fills up. When your madness meter fills up, you move and attack faster, but gradually take damage. skull - Aspect of Ghost Rider --- Melinoe does whatever the heck Nicolas Cage does in that movie adapted from the Marvel comics (I have yet to see it)

Helpful-Specific-841

Blades: Aspect of Marx: You wield a hammer instead of the blade, changing your attack pattern a bit. When you kill a high level enemy (Miniboss or Armored enemy), rally, charming all the lower level enemies around you for a time. Also, you cannot have gold anymore, but Charon gives you one free item per shop, as you both no longet Capitalists

JaffyCaledonia

Aspect of Lernie for the skulls. Each skull thrown has a random AoE effect based on Lernie's attacks from Hades 1.

tubtoasters

this is actually sick

Traditional-Baker-28

Aspect of vishnu for the axe Turns the axe into a gadha(mace kinda) changeing the attack sequence to 3 smashs. The time stop/slow abilities now work against chronos. Just to make it a horrible you are forced to give away a boon when ever you meet an noc that is or was mortal

Licho5

Aspect of Hypnos. Grants the stuff a chance to put the enemy to sleep upon attack. Sometimes puts Mel to sleep instead. When you lose a death defiance the staff will give you "helpfull" advice.

CharizardSlash

Aspect of the Goblin You have the Poseidon + Hera Duo boon at all times + Side Hustle from Hades 1

South-Cod-5051

Aspect of Procrastination for any weapon. Less enemies spawn each round, but you are also always late for work. Aspect of Depression - enemies have very slow attack animations, but Melinoe also deals 100% less damage.

Zoerak

Aspect of Laurel All npc encounters are Narcissus

LordNectarine

Aspect of christ goes unbelievably hard lol

lustywoodelfmaid

Daggers- Aspect of Stalin: weapons become Hammer and Sickle. Kills with the Hammer grant a temporary damage boost, kills with the Sickle grant a temporary attack speed increase. Kills with the final move of an attack combo (using both) grants a chance to auto-complete a room for a Chaos perk.

Adam2390k

When death defiance is triggered, cast a great purge

Pegasusisamansman

Aspect of Thor: it falls on top of an enemy, killing it, and, sometimes, it shoots lightning everywhere. If the son of Odin, stronger than mighty Heracles couldn't lift it what hope did you have to do it yourself

ThatCamoKid

given that the sister blades are a dagger and sickle: Aspect of Communism

runarleo

Torches - Aspect of John Moses Browning It’s just a pair of browning Hi-powers

WalkRealistic9220

Aspect of Christ goes unbelievably hard though

IWillSortByNew

Aspect of Harry Potter for the torches - gives a 5% chance that foes hit will be morphed into sheep

LagomorphicalBrog

Aspect of Hypnos. Bouncing sheep instead of skulls, 33% to inflict daze on EVERYONE on detonation and does bonus damage to shepherds.

DesReploid

It would be in such bad taste to relate the torches to the witch hunts and subsequent burning of loads of innocent people. It would be awful and despicable. However, if we ignore the ethical wrongness of it, it would be very morbidly funny - the very in relation to morbid here, not funny - if the torches had an Aspect of Heinrich Kramer, the only effect of which is that it instantly kills Hecate and nothing else.
