On a rail
Debate me you cowards!!!/ s
Or not its up to you
I do genuinely like it
It feels like a classic duke nukem level with the theming of doom and the horribly compressed and incorrectly exported textures of tekwar
Don’t hate me, but On A Rail.
The initial maps that are just… literally being on a rail are the weakest parts and basically the only parts people remember On A Rail for. But when the HECU presence is amped up is when it gets good. The set pieces are phenomenal too, especially the rocket. It also expands on the world building and revealing the HECU aren’t just mindless drones but actual people.
Half Life: uhhhh I dont know actually
Opposing Force: I never really replayed it much because I am still traumatized by the voltigore tunnels
Blue Shift: the entire game. It wasnt as bad as I remembered
Half Life 2: Nova Prospekt
Episode 1: NO GOOD LEVELS! Ok maybe the Strider fight I guess
Episode 2: The antlion battle. But only because of Vortal Combat

Interloper, now it’s not the best half life chapter, but the setpieces and enemy layouts are honestly pretty good.
Power Up was a pain in the ass the first time, and then promptly became my favorite mini-chapter the second time.
Black mesa xen
Probably the only part of that game I can remember as being not enjoyable. Wayyyyyyy too many puzzles and random stuff to do to progress
On A Rail. The level just feels like it's missing something.
Anticitizen one and Highway 17. Highway 17 is boring and I hate the citizens most in Anticitizen one.
Botj are my favourite chapterss
The beginning to AO is really fun but then I think it went downhill from there until it’s picked back up in follow freeman
Xen
We don't go to ravenholm.
Why this is +18?
Because of Barney Calhoun
Train scene is worst
Waterhazard: I HATE ITS EXISTENCE
Half Life: uhhhh I dont know actually Opposing Force: I never really replayed it much because I am still traumatized by the voltigore tunnels Blue Shift: the entire game. On A Rail most overhated chapter in the entire franchise

sandtraps, just like on a rail the start is bad but the ending is amazing
