Slight graphical improvement and all of the DLC is in the DE version. DE is Xbox one only though.

And PC

Master_David33

The DE performs slightly better on my series x than the 360 version does, but it’s the same game. Just gotta get the DLC for the 360 version if you want

SubstantialSpeaker47

Mainly concerned if the resolution downgrade and fps will be bad enough to notice. What do you think?

Master_David33

It’s definitely noticable. It’s the reason I prefer the DE on my series X. If I’m playing on xb1, I prefer the 360 version because the movements and such look choppy on the DE

SubstantialSpeaker47

Its sucks because i collect games and id want the cd but its only digital. Do you think it'll ever be on sale the de version?

Master_David33

For a hard copy? No. But the DE is currently on the game pass

SubstantialSpeaker47

I mean like its 21.99 canadian digitally but does it ever go on sale?

Master_David33

I’m not sure honestly. I play it on the game pass so I haven’t looked at prices lol. I don’t think I’d but the DE since I already have the 360 game

SubstantialSpeaker47

Thanks for the info! Finally for the mcc i have the cd but it doesnt have halo reach or odst. Its on sale digitally for 12.99, would that come with halo reach ?

Master_David33

I assume so since the game pass version includes it I believe

-LemonSqueez-

It's just the base game with optional DLC purchases. DE has every DLC included as well as graphical improvements. If you don't care about graphical improvements then you really aren't missing out on much. One thing that the old one does better is that the new one changed some of the classic SFX that were better in the original IMO. Such as the Scarab beam and Hunter Beams to name a few.

The halo wars of the 360 days... watch out for screen burn in with that mini map

NovSierra117

I’ve had glitches in DE that never occurred in the original 360 days, such as the pelican commonly getting caught on objects during pick-ups. Take that as you will.
