While Super Earth doesn't bring it up without reason, knowledge of Old Earth isn't actively suppressed.
It was brought up several times in HD1 fairly casually iirc. My headcanon is that the loss of Old Earth was the catalyst that cemented Managed Democracy's place in humanity's political zeitgeist.
I agree it was discussed in hd1, though I feel that after 100 years from hd1 this information would either be manipulated or kept hidden by the government to instill confidence in the population. Maybe one day Joel will give us a little clarification! I dig your head canon btw
It would be pretty funny if we could all actually manage to ban together and just not fight for a few days.
Make the devs have to reverse things or be forced to finish superearth mission maps earlier than they were expecting.

Nope. HD1 made a distinction between the two, and we lost a whole bunch of Super Earth's across the various stages of the Galactic War.
Huh...so for Helldivers 2 they managed to find a Super Earth that is conveniently in the Solar System (since HD2 Super Earth is next to Mars)
