Even so, your leadership has been vital in making sure that the community's concerns and pet peeves are addressed. This is best patch I have seen since this game came out.
You and all the employees at arrowhead have done an incredible job! Love how each weapon, strategem is being developed to serve its own niche rather than just having an endless power level increase system for no reason. Also enjoy the camaraderie you get in the game, it’s the first online game I’ve enjoyed in a decade thanks to the general lack of consistency.
Keep it up! 🫡
Yep, and while this is very true and worth saying, this is also a great example of what leadership on a team *should* look like.
Pilestedt didn't throw anyone under the bus. He listened to complaints, considered, admitted that maybe they had gone too far one direction. He then brought that to the team, led discussions on direction/fun/listening to the community (while skipping the negativity hopefully) and used this to show the direction things should be going in moving forward.
It feels so different in part as it feels like before you had separate teams just doing what they could for each patch while trying to address problems, and then they had some leadership and direction to help get them in line.
Maybe it's not what happened, but from what we've been shown it seems to be.
I’m glad he reigned in the balance team personally. The decisions being made were so off the mark, and it was happening consistently. It doesn’t inspire confidence when your head balancer says a new weapon is amazing and it drops as good as dog water.
Weapons in this game should be overpowered. They should tear enemies to shreds, and make the player feel like a bad ass. Having to mag dump enemies on the other hand, and only being able to kill one or two armored fodder per magazine is so disheartening.
Difficulty can be increased in ways other than making enemies bullet sponges.
i thought this was gonna be gore with the watermark and low quality. almost reported u until it started playing lol. I thought he was gonna get burned alive or something
To be fair, it's probably the entire balance team pushing out better changes, not just PIlestedt. It's just that Pilestedt's steering the team in a direction focused on improving the experience rather than... whatever it was they were trying to achieve before.
I've been loving running the spear over the last few days and with the new improved lock on I'm very happy, just hoping they can fix the issue with it not targeting factories anymore. I love being able to take out bases from a distance with it
Very good patch but there are still some things that need to be addressed.
Bile Titans mouth need to be a weak spot. The current state makes no sense.
RR reload time being longer is a big L.
Eruptor still doesnt feel good. Its better but the shrapnel needs to come back. If not possible then there needs to be more explosive damage
Indeed there's still more work to be done. But one patch was never going to fix everything wrong (without causing bugs along the way too). This patch is still a pretty big step in the right direction and makes me very hopeful for what the next update will do to make the game better now that they've shown what they're aiming for in each update.
I wonder how long before this sub realizes the patch didn’t actually fix any of the balance or technical issues and actually made high difficulty bugs significantly worse with endless tanky behemoth charger spam
I’d guess a day or so until the honeymoon period wears off
CCO - Chief Cooking Officer
Let's make this canon.
I agree
Let’s also make it cannon. As in, I want a droppable cannon stratagem that we get in and man, like the HMG turret but… bigger.
Let's make it cannon too.
Thank you, but I have to clarify that I did not cook. I have merely given a gentle nudge. The ideas and execution for this is the teams.
Even so, your leadership has been vital in making sure that the community's concerns and pet peeves are addressed. This is best patch I have seen since this game came out.
It was more like head chef, taste a bit of each dish and add a seasoning here and there to make the course freaking amazing.

It takes a crew to run a ship, but the captain decides where the ship goes. Keep up the great work Johan 👍

Let him cook!
pretty sure Pilestedt is not the CEO anymore. however **Shams Jorjani** is
My brother in democracy, he said CCO not CEO
I'm so happy Arrowhead finally decided to hire a fucking chef
Technically it was more like the restaurant's owner went to the kitchen and said "fine, I'll cook myself!"
Definitely the best analogy for this lol. If you want something done right, gotta do it yourself
Gimme chef armour pls
BOI WAS WHIPPIN THE INGREDIENTS
LET HIM COOK
Came here for this exact comment!
LET HIM COOOKK
Permission granted. He may cook now.
Why it's on LiveLeak, does he die or what :v
The Internet has conditioned me to feel sudden, visceral anxiety the moment I see a LiveLeak watermark
LiveLeak and low resolution pixelated as hell video, name a deadlier combination Maybe a bonus modifier if it's a security camera as well
x3 if the Location seems to be either India or China
x3 again if it involves a train, or a Voltage Transformer
*Pilestedt **and his team**. It's easy to make him the mascot because he's such a cool dude and very active on social media, but he can't do it alone.

To be fair, before he went "I'll do it myself", the balance of the game was very controversial.
Yeah, fair enough.

Someone still have to do the work. There was a lack of unified and clear direction, and that's what Pilestedt brings with him
the women haunting the narrative
It is the team. Most of the patch was already in the works before I swapped roles. I just gave some gentle nudges here and there.
THERE, SEE. Now we can add humble to the list of traits.
Wait he’s humble- LISAN AL GAIB
#AS WRITTEN
LISAN AL GAIB
I thought that goes without saying? He can’t do it alone but he represents the balancing and creative teams. It’s just easier this way

He didn't do that actual coding. Sure he gave them direction and focus but he didn't code this patch. The credit goes to AH not just Pilestedt.
Private Pilestedt is cooking up the good stuff.
He's the chosen one
But where is the LAMB SAUCE?!

Now I want fried rice
Look at that flick of the wrist.

I haven’t played since the patch that made the dominator viable like 2 months ago - what’s changed since?
He cookin'
Can we get a chef on the super destroyer that drops vague hints at what super earth is cooking up.
Let Him COOK
I SAID. LET. HIM. COOK.

Yep just wanted to point out some things that should be looked into in the future.
He's a master chef of fun
Oh lawd he ***cookin’***
Bro cooked overtime
Someone cooked here.
CEO had to step down for things to improve lol
CEO had to step out of the office and back into the kitchen to fix this mess.
he cooked us a damn buffet
I wonder how long before this sub realizes the patch didn’t actually fix any of the balance or technical issues and actually made high difficulty bugs significantly worse with endless tanky behemoth charger spam I’d guess a day or so until the honeymoon period wears off
Boring. Go play something else.
Already uninstalled, once you get to diff 9 you’ll be bored too. Assuming you ever get there, most of this sub apparently won’t
