Not at all! They are just getting ready to start the second half of season two. If you binge the show you can easily catch up before the new episode drops. Also there have been a lot of new fans with the release of Hazbin Hotel in January!

This is a fun time to get into it because the second half S2 is about to start airing, with one episode dropping this month, another in June, and the remainder in October, November, and December. They also just released the first ever short and announced there will be more coming. We've got a lot of awesome content on the way soon!
This is actually the perfect time; the second half of season two will start rolling out some time this month
If you wanna keep up to date with when the new episodes drop, they usually tease it on Xitter and give about a week’s worth of notice there before a new episode drops

Do you recommend rewatches before coming in to the discussion boards? I didn't realize there were things to look at in the background that I would have missed had they not been mentioned here and I don't really want any spoilers.
Also, is there a specific time in the evening they choose?
They usually go for the same time, in England it’s usually around 6pm. More often than not they’ll share new episodes during the weekend but sometimes it’s during the week
And in terms of rewatches it definitely depends on how invested you are in catching all the background details yourself, cause there are definitely a lot of them. A consistent running gag is at least one horse in the background of every episode, whether it be a real one, a toy one or a drawing of one. All in all if you want to avoid spoilers or people telling you the Easter eggs then yeah hop off of here until you’re caught up
