Also you could run around the Medical Center. Not sure on distance but could link up to it from the Shank Park trail (I think this is the Jon Eshenhour Memorial Trail) and run all the paths through and around the border of the Medical Center, you could work quite a bit of variety into your run.

The Eshenhour trail is great. There are maps available here to provide guidance on location. You wont get lost but no distance markers so a simple running watch is nice. I appreciate this help. Local runners on Reddit FTW.

On Old Hershey Road you can park at the Conewago Recreational Trail it is miles long in either direction and pretty much flat. You could run also from Shank Park and all the way down into Hummelstown and back on that trail, should be about 6 miles. Very hilly.

Very good suggestions thank you - I'll have to check it out!

This is where you want to go. It’s a 20mile flat cinder rail trail. Wooded the entire way. Search for “old trolley line park” as your parking place. Don’t waste your time running around the med center or driving into Harrisburg. Don’t know where you’ll be working but it’s a 15 min drive from the center of town.

2 laps around Wildwood in Harrisburg would be about that. It is a paved route around a wooded park area with a small lake for retention. There are smaller paths that shoot off. Planty of parking and restrooms as well. It is about 20ish minutes driving from Hershey

You can run the hospital/shank park trails for miles, parking at bullfrog pond or shank would be the best bet
