Well, that's what I mean - most poisons can be applied with the right disguise without it being illegal. The Black Almond is illegal in those disguises too.
Bottom right one. I think it has the most stylish look, and liquids in general make more sense than pills. Poisoning someone's steak with pills sounds silly to say the least.
Usually the bottom right liquid poison, so it doesn't need dissolving, you just add it to any food or drink. Unless the mission has any frisk checkpoints, in which case I take the lethal pills in the orange bottle so it just looks like 47's personal medication.
I use them all equally except for the top right, which I don't use at all. It also depends on what I'm poisoning because I'm not about to pour pills in a fumigation system.
The pills with the blue label, inconspicuous. If someone was to search you and find a vial of liquid or a bottle of pills, I'd rather it didn't have a skull icon on it...
i'm quite surprised that the devs had the restraint to not slap a mk2 on the poison bottles, imagine if lethal pills mk2 just outright kills your target instantly without them getting close or even consuming the poisoned food
If we take out enough targets in freelance with the pills we get a pretty trophy for our shelves at home … so I go with pills. Sometimes kinda hard to get though
Am I imagining it or did previous games allow you to poison food with a syringe?
Either way, it would make sense to be able to do this (I presume they don’t allow it for balancing reasons).
There are no differences. They just had to make different unlockable poisons for Hitman 1, 2 and 3 to allow you to use poison vials from the start of the mission, in all 3 games. Or else people who just played Hitman 2 or 3 wouldn't be able to unlock the poison from Hitman 1 masteries.
In freelancer I use syringes instead and in the campaign I just throw grenades because they can be immune to the poison they can't be immune to a grenade
Vial with twisty top for easy killing...
I’m imagining 47 getting caught and killed now because he couldn’t get the damn “squeeze the sides” safety lid off the poison bottle
Lol makes no difference on a game mechanics level, but indo the same too. Liquids don't need to dissolve.
That one dagger with the poison gimmick.
Annoys and confuses me why they didn't add this to freelancer, the mode where it makes the most sense to bring.
Someone here even suggested replacing the Antique Curved Knife as the Legendary tier knife with the Black Almond's Dagger instead
Um what? Please tell me more???

Ohh then i have it. So it's not something you can throw at a person and count as a poison kill then?
No
I wish they made a lethal poison dart gun that secretly shot out of a suitcase and no one noticed it.
That would be way too easy. Even worse than the taser phone.
The sedative dart is already way too powerful
How does the taser phone help?
Like the flash or exploding phones, but it counts as an accident kill. They got rid of it for obvious reasons
You could put the taser phone in front of anyone, they pick it up, you activate it whenever you want for a free accident kill.
Called a gun mate
Oh really? I can shoot someone in the middle of a crowd and get silent assassin rating still? Thanks for wasting your own time typing that.
Calm down mate just a game
Wait... so I had this unlocked the whole time and never knew it was useful? This sub is always giving good tips.
Black almond dagger?
Per u/Count_Dracula97 it lets you poison drinks and food and can be used as a dagger, so its a double item. Level 15 mastery in Haven Island
Time to go see how much Haven Island costs
But actually using the black almond is an illegal poison action, so you can't do it openly, for example to poison Novikov's bare knuckle boxer.
Am I got it wrong, or EVERY poisoning action is illegal, once seen? Only waiter/chief disguise allows to add smth in foods of drinks?
Well, that's what I mean - most poisons can be applied with the right disguise without it being illegal. The Black Almond is illegal in those disguises too.
Oh I see 👌🏼 That’s cuz it’s basically a knife 🤔
Yeah, imagine seeing a bartender holding a knife. I'd call the nearest guard right away.
Bottom right one. I think it has the most stylish look, and liquids in general make more sense than pills. Poisoning someone's steak with pills sounds silly to say the least.
Steak with the death crunch

Open the pill and sprinkle the insides
time wasted, disguise blown
putting pills in snack bar

Smart move! But the guards don’t actually detect liquid poisons right?
They don't detect any poisons you have on you. It's just for roleplay.
I use them all equally except for the top right, which I don't use at all. It also depends on what I'm poisoning because I'm not about to pour pills in a fumigation system.
I love the 2020 item styles and hitman 2s look hideous
Lead poisoning generally
Isn’t the only difference between the pills and the vial, that the vial will break if you drop it?
Yes
The pills with the blue label, inconspicuous. If someone was to search you and find a vial of liquid or a bottle of pills, I'd rather it didn't have a skull icon on it...

Prefer the antique lethal syringe 💉
If we take out enough targets in freelance with the pills we get a pretty trophy for our shelves at home … so I go with pills. Sometimes kinda hard to get though
Usually go for the vial. Pills make no sense to me for immersion.
My headcanon is that they’re very soluble in liquid for drinks and they’re easy to open and sprinkle for food
Yea that kinda makes sense tbh.. I like that.
The Mk3 syringe
That one. Right there.
Classic Vial. It’s been my best pal for the entire trilogy
Definitely the lethal pills. I HATE the lethal pills. Lethal poison vial is cool too but not lethal poison vial.
Top right
Lethal pills at the moment cuz I’m trying to get that pills challenge on freelancer
H3 Lethal Pills, makes sense in most scenarios (realistically) since the pills dissolve in liquids rapidly compared to a vial. Plus stylish looking.
Pills, because I thinks it’s funny when I just dump them into solid food and the target doesn’t say anything.
High end targets gets glass liquid vial, tactical targets get plastic vial, I don’t use the pills unless I need to poison 4 targets
I love the professional look of top right. Gives me vibes that 47 actually uses that vial to fill lethal syringes
Pills usually I carry in missions as vial bottles if you drop they break
The white vial for H1 maps Pills for H2 The black vial for H3 maps
I like the lethal poison vials because the pretty colors
Am I imagining it or did previous games allow you to poison food with a syringe? Either way, it would make sense to be able to do this (I presume they don’t allow it for balancing reasons).
Hey that’s my gran’s Alzheimer’s medication!
Top left cuz it looks cool lol
The black one goes hard with my black suits
I just grab whichever I see first
Down right, it looks the coolest
Pills so that I can pop one for myself after the mission.
Probably the lethal pills
Top left
Pills, like there is multiple pills?
I can't say that I've ever seen any difference gameplay wise. It's not even visible in 47s hands.
Bottom left one.
My favorite one is the lethal syringe that's disguised as a pen.
Bottom right, for style
Is there any difference? But I'm gonna choose vial.
There are no differences. They just had to make different unlockable poisons for Hitman 1, 2 and 3 to allow you to use poison vials from the start of the mission, in all 3 games. Or else people who just played Hitman 2 or 3 wouldn't be able to unlock the poison from Hitman 1 masteries.
etiher of the vials. Someone would eat food with something that looks like soy sauce or some other sauce, but not obvious pills.
Ehh bottom left. I've been slacking on unlocks. Syringes don't work great for me, I'm probably doing something wrong
In freelancer I use syringes instead and in the campaign I just throw grenades because they can be immune to the poison they can't be immune to a grenade
The red and black one just look so much more professional and I love it
Top right
I only have the regular pill bottle rn😔
I read somewhere but the vial one will break if you dropped it
I'd probably gonna go for bottom right
Lethal pills left under like its the only 1 I have
Top right because I haven't unlocked the others lol.
I haven’t used any of these yet 💀
Why would you poison a target like a pussy when you can slice their skull in two with a giant axe?? 🤦
Because hitman is a stealth game Mr. “Philosopher”, I’d imagine you’d know that Sherlock
No-one plays a Hitman game stealthily. That'd be like playing a Splinter Cell game with "stealth" lmao 🤦
Literally most hitman players play with stealth. The only ones who don’t are either children, content creators or you
Literally no-one plays stealth on a Hitman game. You can take that to the bank. It's a shoot em up game. Like Assassin's Creed or Alien Isolation 👍
