When room rando first came out, people were making complicated hand-drawn maps just like this. Eventually somebody made an online tool where you could insert rooms and show all of their exits and connections between them. Now, the map mod can do it all automatically, plus it lets you mark a room you've already been to and it will guide you back there. We've come a long way.
