The issue with robots in Plastic Memories was that they are >!reliant on pseudo-souls that go haywire after a few years, it's basically robot dementia with a side of violence. (I love this detail btw. It's so unique to have sentient robots that weren't reliant on artificially made intelligence but rather straight up having a soul)!<
We... don't know if Cecilia has one. And even if she did she'd probably gain it naturally tsukumogami style since she's lived for so long.
You know, given that we have several members now that can play instruments, I hope a concert where they play is seriously a consideration. Along with more advanced tracking that can capture the hand movements.
Maybe they use different set-ups? Because a lot of their 3D programs still have floating objects and sometimes the finger tracking seems kinda scuffed. I suppose group stuff is a little less sophisticated.
His was done on their newest studio and that portion wasn't live, allowing for the staff to fix any scuffs. We're no were close yet to home 3D setups that can do real time tracking like that.
I seriously thought the hand tracking that Altare did when he played the cello for his 3D debut was so good, holo quartet/orchestra is definitely possible
Wait I don’t particularly keep up with the music prowess of different members, who plays what instruments? Aside from Cecilia with violin and shiori with piano
Sora: Piano, flute
Gura: Ukulele
Ame: Ukulele, kalimba
Fauna: Kalimba
Luna: Piano and electone
Ina: Recorder and otamatone, used to play several instruments in the past, most notably the clarinet and the bassoon.
Subaru: Piano
Kobo: Guitar, recorder, piano and drum
Altare: Cello, guitar
Several Holostars members are guitar players. Polka basically uses anything she can.
In terms of people that have played their instruments in 3D lives:
- Rikka and Kobo have played acoustic guitar
- Luna famously plays electone and has had sponsorships with Yamaha
- Altare with the Cello.
- Not a holomem, but Suou Patra played the electric guitar in a 3D collab she had with Fubuki in the COVER studio.
IIRC all of Gen 0 of Holostars played instruments in one of the live 3d concerts. Izuru and Rikka on guitar, Miyabi on bass, and Aruran on drums. I think Miyabi and Aruran were beginners but Izuru and Rikka had a bit more experience with their instruments.
While I think a musical collab would be interesting, I hope they don't get pressured into it (mainly by chat). Shiori didn't seem too enthused with the idea when it was raised up during the watchalongs, and I can relate (maybe). Public performances are nerve wrecking, but personally I found duets to be even worse in terms of nerves.
The picture is from a show called Your Lie in April and the girl that Cecilia is ons dies at the end of the show. Sorry if this spoils it for anyone watching.
That would be true if there was a finite amount of people. But every year new people exist so it is still a spoiler. What if some like 14 year old was looking to watch a show and saw that? Or honestly, just someone who hasn't seen it for whatever reason. Kinda gatekeepy to require people to watch/know every thing by a certain point, especially the ending spoiler.
yeah i havent seen Your Lie In April yet, and i guess theres no point now lmao. though next time if they want to be considerate, the spoiler cover text should be of use.
i also dont understand the 'this show/movie is x old. you should have seen it by now' mindset. a show being old shouldnt give the right of spoiling something. shit, i still havent seen Attack On Titan or Death Note, and those animes are quite old.
If it helps that show is more about the journey than the destination. The show makes little effort to hide the direction it is headed to, but how they get there is what the show is about.
Oh no you don’t.
WAIT I DIDN'T MEAN IT LIKE THAT LMAOOOO
Welp, sorry Cecilia. You only just came into this world, now she’s gotta die by Ligma.
Who's Steve Jobs?
Ligma BOLS
Well, at least you didn't pick up "[Omori](https://imgur.com/a/KvhFRiO)" picture for this. Unlike me.
She should be disease-resistant, though. Automaton, remember?
resistant to human diseases. automaton afflictions, like rust? remains to be seen.
Have you watched Plastic Memories before?
i have not, but i have been playing a ton of Helldivers. lemme just say, my Autocannon makes short work of them.
I would recommend Plastic Memories, but... be advised.
I got flashbacks and teared up
I rewatch Plastic Memories for *Asayake no Starmine*.

—because it already happened! 😭
She's durable, so it should be fine
At the same time, the video where she is fixed during her debut was one of the best I saw in Hololive.
You know, given that we have several members now that can play instruments, I hope a concert where they play is seriously a consideration. Along with more advanced tracking that can capture the hand movements.
Regis's 3D debut shows they can do hand tracking while playing some intruments, when he played the cello.

> We're no were close yet to home 3D setups that can do real time tracking like that. We're getting there faster than fucking Flash tho, ngl.
Are you sure about that? [https://x.com/butz\_yung/status/1764377552913834181](https://x.com/butz_yung/status/1764377552913834181)

Sora plays the piano, flute, and ukelele.

Mumei did guitar in the past, idk if she can still play though
She said that she wants to learn again, as she's forgotten everything about it except for basic chords and finger picking.

Nonononononono.....
It’s okay, you just need to wind her up again.
Now you just need to add polka on either the kazoo, or screaming rubber chickens.
*Kimi dayo kimi nandayo* moment
Luna is crying in the corner.
Bruh you did not
Holo Orchestra when? (Yes, it includes Calli's kazoo)
> (Yes, it includes Calli's kazoo) But why? It doesn't make any sound.
Did you hum it?
It's more about the principle of the matter
Half the brass would just be Polka.
The clown or the genre?
I can fix her in April
One of the collabs of all time also plz no kil cc
Sooooon
Not cool, OP. Not cool.
Sick collab but no, nah uh, no foreshdowing. We also havent paid her hospital bills yet. Im not ready.
It's okay everyone, she's a robot. We can order replacement parts from ali express

Dude I just finished Omori
COVER CORP GIVE US A HOLO STRING QUARTET AND MY LIFE IS YOURS
would be so nice if they had a duet. would be interesting/sad if the two of them went in a direction similar to the story.
The fact that we now know Cecilia can play a piano as well
Not the happiest anime lol
iam glad she actually automaton without any illness
I don't get it.
The picture is from a show called Your Lie in April and the girl that Cecilia is ons dies at the end of the show. Sorry if this spoils it for anyone watching.
Yeah, I get that, but I don't get its connection for Cecilia and Shiori lmao other than they play that instrument? Or is that it?
That’s it for now. But who knows what lore Shiori or Cecelia will cook up in the future
Spoilers have a shelf life, and it's unreasonable to not expect them with a show that's a decade old.

It's not too late to watch those, you know.
I know. At some point I'll watch AoT, but i have other stuff on my MAL that I want to see.
