:) I have these in my living room. They look exactly like ops photo in person. The black out is really good too.
I have these in my home in the sage green color. They’re absolutely a steal! The quality is really nice. I’m changing up my style and I’ll be ordering these in a new color when the time comes.
Yeah, I find the black out to be better than most black out curtains I’ve bought over the years. Considering I didn’t even buy them specifically for perfect blackout.
I have a dark green (sherwin Williams cascades) accent wall in my living room. The curtains are on a white wall for me, but I think the colors work well together.

This isn’t the best photo… our house is still very much a WIP but maybe it’ll help you visualize some more haha
I agree with you but for an additional reason.
The flora on the dark wall really adds layers and weight to that side of the room. It will look weird if it's not balanced.
The area above the window and below the curtain rod looked so odd when they were higher. Maybe I just didn’t get them high enough. But I was hesitant to go wider since they’re next to the fireplace.
Why is it limiting? It actually expands the options in the room by pulling other colors for pillows, throws, picture frames and other decor. These subs are so afraid of pattern. Everything always is plain solid colors.
I wasn’t debating you, I was wondering how you thought a floral curtain would limit her choices in the rest of the room. I think it’s a rather reasonable question.
I think if you are ok with working around the pattern then go for it. I don’t swap out my curtains often so I prefer something solid that I can work around and use patterned pillows that are easier for me to swap out seasonally.
I don't like any of them either. I think a nice cream to pick up the color of the mantle and not take away too much from everything else would be good.
Not loving any of these, but I love the dark paint and chair…
If I may make a suggestion, I can totally see a burnt sienna drape to break up the brown, and warming up the corner while keeping it neutral.
How on Earth is that a “feminine” curtain rod lmao? I agree a thicker one with some bigger end caps would look better but that’s not a word I’d use to describe the current one
It’s hard to tell without seeing the full room. I’d love an ivory / cream sheer to complement the fireplace or a rust colored velvet to complement the green chair. All of these current options kind of clash a bit IMO.
I like the dark floral but I’d hang a double rod and do a cream sheer under it and push most of the floral drapes to the sides. I’d get a new, longer dark or maybe brass rod w/ finials and hang it higher. The copper does look good with the green…maybe add some copper pillows or a throw.
Number 3 copper velvet EASILY and by a mile! Those are the ones. 1 and 2 are nice but 3 is RIGHT. It is the look! It fits the space and balances perfectly with the colors and the opacity of the fabric. It looks so put together that I wish I could have this corner in my house.
It’s the boring choice but I like #4 (white). You already have a bold colour with the wall and chair ; adding another seems jarring. I like #3 too but they seem to heavy looking. Unless you need black out curtains there I’d go with sheer.
Love the dark floral and the copper. They both look great. (I think the William Morris will look even better) But definitely keep the sheers and layer them with which ever other one you pick.
Thanks for the update!
I love the contrast of the floral but the pattern is limiting. I’d go with the copper velvet!
Copper Velvet! I’m off to go looking for some myself. I love them.
https://preview.redd.it/x3iwnx3z73gc1.jpeg?width=1125&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1ba27a50923623d9662c653eef6832570c2a5ce7 :) I have these in my living room. They look exactly like ops photo in person. The black out is really good too.
Been thinking of buying these! I’ve been influenced
Thank you!!!! 🙏🏻 ♥️
Love these. Trying to justify switching out my living room curtains now
I have these in my home in the sage green color.
Love these. I’ve been looking for curtains in my bedroom. I have dark green walls. I wonder if the color would work. Definitely would add texture.

This looks great!! Thank you for the visual.
Agreed! Also the copper velvet looks nice against the bookshelf imo
Copper copper copper 🤎
I agree with you but for an additional reason. The flora on the dark wall really adds layers and weight to that side of the room. It will look weird if it's not balanced.
>The flora on the dark wall really adds layers and weight to that side of the room. I second this!!
Also hang the curtains as high as you had the original, it adds so much height to the space
Good point. I'd go wider too, so that when open the curtains don't obscure the window at all.
The area above the window and below the curtain rod looked so odd when they were higher. Maybe I just didn’t get them high enough. But I was hesitant to go wider since they’re next to the fireplace.
Yes! Good advice . Copper velvet higher!
I thought the same when I saw the pic
Yes, the copper velvet all the way! It just looks right.
Why is it limiting? It actually expands the options in the room by pulling other colors for pillows, throws, picture frames and other decor. These subs are so afraid of pattern. Everything always is plain solid colors.
I shared my opinion, not everything on the internet needs to be a debate. 👍🏼

Sorry, asking someone to explain their view with a little additional context = debate.
Sorry, it’s not. Look up the definition. I asked for an explanation, which was provided
C’mon I was being sarcastic! Obviously it’s ludicrous to call that a debate!
Sarcasm is difficult to “read”. Sorry
Especially crappy sarcasm!
/s = sarcasm
I’m aware, it wasn’t used, hence my response
Thank you!!!n
I'm with you on that! Pattern mixing is the spice of life!
Agreed. Plus, it's going to look dated next week.

#1 under #2. Layers!
Yes!
I thought two was the answer but you are definitely correct
This is the answer
Only right answer. Completely agree!
Seconded.
This is the way.
Idk why none of these are working for me. It’s hard. If I had to pick it’d be the dark floral
I don't like any of them either. I think a nice cream to pick up the color of the mantle and not take away too much from everything else would be good.
1 or 3. I prefer 1
Agree!
Same
2

Agreed. Copper one is the most impressive and striking visually.
Dark floral
The dark floral is beautiful and matches the mood of the room.
We seem to be the minority but eff yes, it’s the ONLY choice out of these
there are dozens of us!!
My daughter agrees and forbids me to choose anything but floral!
Yes! Brings it all together for me. The copper looks bland for my taste.
Absolutely. The other ones look horrid.
I agree
2
The floral.
Please, whatever you do, hang your curtain rod higher and buy longer curtains.
#4 original looks so goofy
Yeah, that one's too high, but the new ones are too low.
Agreed. Cut that length in half and it’ll be perfect.
2!!
I like the dark floral but I don’t like grommets so I’d hand them upside down with rings.
The dark floral
2, it's lovely for a little added interest in that corner.
2/dark floral

Not loving any of these, but I love the dark paint and chair… If I may make a suggestion, I can totally see a burnt sienna drape to break up the brown, and warming up the corner while keeping it neutral.
And a thicker curtain rod. This one’s too flimsy/feminine for the room.
I agree on a heftier rod in a diff finish.
How on Earth is that a “feminine” curtain rod lmao? I agree a thicker one with some bigger end caps would look better but that’s not a word I’d use to describe the current one
Idk dainty? Ffs let’s not argue semantics over a curtain rod in a stranger’s home
2
Your curtain bar needs to be wider, but #2.
Ugh! I love a dark floral but I have to say the copper velvet. Maybe do the dark floral in between? The best of both worlds.
White
It’s hard to tell without seeing the full room. I’d love an ivory / cream sheer to complement the fireplace or a rust colored velvet to complement the green chair. All of these current options kind of clash a bit IMO.
Copper velvet 100%
Copper velvet for the win
White one!
I like the last one, but not white, an ecru would look better. The first sheer is a weird color.
Came here to say this and you beat me to it. A shade that works with the paint on the fireplace would be perfect. The current ones are too white.
1— lightens the space while staying in the right color sectrum 3. If you want something bolder it’s the best.
3 I suppose…the corner is looking awfully heavy on brown though.
2
\#5 - A natural linen or cream to tie in with the fireplace.
Agree! And I prefer the original height myself
COPPER VELVET. how much do they cost. i used a velvet duvet cover, removed stitches, cut into four panels, did not hem, 92 inches long.

2!
2
Sheer and copper, highly suggest that you layer those
I would use the floral for spring/summer and the velvet for fall/winter. Please post when the others arrive, I'm invested now! 😂
I like the dark floral but I’d hang a double rod and do a cream sheer under it and push most of the floral drapes to the sides. I’d get a new, longer dark or maybe brass rod w/ finials and hang it higher. The copper does look good with the green…maybe add some copper pillows or a throw.

COPPER VELVET for the WIN!!!
Original
Copper velvet hands down. Looks the most polished and sophisticated.
Sheer in the middle and copper on the ends!
#2! The copper is nice by itself but it’s too much brown with the floor and the cabinet.
Velvet. But I hate seeing that pole, can’t you them done so the pole runs behind?
2 or 3, definitely not 1
What look are you going for. The first one is too sheer. I like the printed one which is the second one. You can always switch them up. ❤️🏡
Add one more panels. No 1 looks good . I like how you lowered it too.
The one with the pattern, everybody’s so afraid of patterns. I never see rooms with patterns in this sub. Please choose the one with pattern.

3. Velvet is almost always the answer
#1
the sheer is the best!
Sheer
1 but higher

I like the copper velvet and the original white is nice too. The velvet has more drama, the white more delicate.
I love the dark floral, but the white brightens up the room nicely!
Copper velvet lets everything else shine!

Copper velvet but remove the clips and string it directly on the rod
Copper Velvet
Copper velvet fits the bookshelf colour

Please tell me where you got those sexy copper velvet curtains 😍
Copper. Also that wall color is awesome.
3, copper velvet!
#3!
Copper velvet!
Can you please tell me what app you use ? Thanks so much! PS I vote for copper velvet:)
All of them at different times of the year
Copper velvet is the clear winner in my book!
I’d raise your curtain rod and go longer, though.
Copper Velvet
Copper
The height of number four in the copper color.
Ohhhh two and three both
Floral. Copper velvet. The floral just looks so rich! Like hugely cozy and giving studious library vibes
White, they brighten up the room.
Hands down-#2
1 under 2! 1 under 2! 1 UNDER 2!
The second one is the ONLY one 😍
Number two goes so perfect with the walls and brings a lot of personality vs all of the others that are plain!🩷
Number two!!
2! 2! 2!

Floral looks the best to me

2 dark floral
Number 3 copper velvet EASILY and by a mile! Those are the ones. 1 and 2 are nice but 3 is RIGHT. It is the look! It fits the space and balances perfectly with the colors and the opacity of the fabric. It looks so put together that I wish I could have this corner in my house.

The copper velvet has a really nice weight and solidity to it that balances the surrounding furnishings.
It’s the boring choice but I like #4 (white). You already have a bold colour with the wall and chair ; adding another seems jarring. I like #3 too but they seem to heavy looking. Unless you need black out curtains there I’d go with sheer.

#2 dark floral!

2 or nothing else
White with the height!!!! Love 💞
White
I honestly prefer #1. I think the others make the place too dark.
Original
I’m probably in the minority here and I know you’re looking for something different but I think the original curtains look best in this space.
I like copper but I also recommend it go from ceiling to floor to give the illusion the window is larger
TWO!!! PICK 2!! So rich looking.
1,3
Love the dark floral and the copper. They both look great. (I think the William Morris will look even better) But definitely keep the sheers and layer them with which ever other one you pick. Thanks for the update!
I love 3 and 1. I bet you could put those together:)
I or 2
I love the color of 1 and 3 but for the plant I feel like 1 is best.
3

2 or 4.
Floral
3
The color from 1 with the fabric/weight from 3. Pink Velvet.
2 definitely 2
I’m partial to 1
Floral and I’m not a floral person
