No way it'd be pre-aeon, still remember one of the sim univ occurrence scenarios with a starving swarm bug and the option to give it a tiny piece of food made it instantly proliferate and begin filling the forest area you're at prior to them attacking you
they would probably lose all things considered, the swarm is the manifestation of the power of an aeon, the fake sky seems to be teyvat's strongest defense so if they're already there invading, things will likely not go well.
If they were to enter, wouldn't they be susceptible to Irminsul manipulation? I would say yes, I think only an emanator would be difficult, but we don't even know how strong the HP are, so it could be the other way around
No bc descenders/beings not from teyvat remain unnaffected. Teyvat would prob get wrecked iron cavalry got wrecked and unless rhinedottir or some1 created a mutant species that would attack their own kind or smthn glamoth tech lvl was greater than teyvat tech lvl
Note: I am 100% knowledgeable about lore things for either game I am merely speaking from how I myself read it. If I am wrong, people correct me
The title of "descended" isn't given just for not being from Teyvat, but also requires a will strong enough to surpass a world. The playable twin *is* a descender, while the abyss sibling, who is also not from Teyvat, *isn't* a descender.
Whether the swarm bugs have this level of will, isn't my territory in the slightest, I have not quite read up on the swarm lore yet. I just wanted to correct (what I believe to be) a misreading about descenders that comes up a lot
It is, per Snezhnaya's Project Stuzha
Stuzha means "severe winter"
in norse mythology, it is said that before ragnarok engulfs the world in hellfire, a bitter winter will occur
Cryo Gemstone: "Sorry... to also have you shoulder the grievances of the world.
"Since you could endure my bitter cold, you must have the desire to burn?
"Then, burn away the old world for me."
I'd actually say Teyvat is one of those worlds that'd do pretty decent depending on how good the Firmament is, the swarm is very hard to deal with so the best option is to simply not let it into the house.
I mean, the star devouring narwhal had to be brought IN from the inside, because the Firmament was stopping it,
And in the new game mode room, there's alot of books, one of these books was talking about how fate that's determined by the cosmos itself, eas soo weak in teyvat it basically had no effect due to how strong the firmament is,
Also we learn of a which called octavia who travels between worlds, yhis suggest that the firmament is design to keep things OUT rather than keeping things in
Prime Radahn yea, but not the scarlet rot infected, actually insane Radahn that we fight during the main story. The DLC actually gives us insight into what fighting prime Radahn was similar to except minus his sane mind still
Scarlet rot infected, actually insane Radahn was still very much holding back the stars as seen when they start falling after you beat him in caelid. Radahn is simply the goat, even at his most crippled.
Mario Kart 8, it would basically be what happened in Wreck it Ralph

Never thought about it but these bugs from Wreck It Ralph are a great example of the Swarm in general lmao 😂. This is how the Swarm really started guys
/trust /jk
I think Ort can already self propigate, considering it replicated millions of Fantasy trees using its np after eating 1. Its more likely that it doesn't because it would spend more time eating itself than gaining new traits making it an evolutionary dead end.
That one random-ass pest exterminator who's been chilling on the Throne of Heroes forever: "My time has come."
Strange/Fake's False Rider might actually just solo given enough time if the bugs can die from illness.
Also Full powered Excalibur since the swarm counts a planetary threat
(theyre universal threat but still a threat that would Lead to Excalibur full power unsealed)
You forgot that since the swarm is a Foreigner it is going to receive a serving of 'Etherspace, Yet Lawful' from Mysterious Heroine XX (Ena approves)
Hold on, does not meant we can farm the Swarm for Saint Quartz?!? ABIGAIL WHERE ARE YOU?!? CAN I BORROW YOUR KEY FOR A SECOND???
Now that I think about it... didn't the swarm destroyed 1/3 of the universe? They're way more dangerous than I thought. But FGO universe is still stronger
To understand the full absurdity of the Servantverse you start with the world of HSR, Dial it up so high the dial breaks and then mix in Fate and Star Wars along with ALL the universal laws and physics that come with those two.
After all that, you've just barely scratched the surface of the ridiculousness of the Servantverse
Doomslayer has been shown to care about humanity, if the swarm is an extinction-level threat, i'd not be surprised if he decided to fight. He has already fought non-demons for humanities sake.
The terraria guy will willingly summon the swarm as an event only to farm fancy new weapons and rare drops from their corpses

The swarm would fix Saryns biggest issue in fights, running out if targets for her spores.
Give me a team of Wisp with Dispensary helminthed over her solar flare, Octavia, Saryn and either Khora or Nekros and I'd have your swarm issue fixed fast.
But the swarm love using self destruct and explosion. And you know their ability is going to be Aftermath. Also that they probably are Bug / Fire with how many of them violently explode so you probably can't burn them.
Now i have to imagine a cave, but its just all swam with confusion ray, Explosion and other bullshit but low xp und high encounter rate. Add reflection dmg on that as well
I'd imagine it would be like the deadliest tower defense game Kiana would ever play in her life. She could most likely snipe off most of the Swarm from extremely long distances but if something like an Emanator gets past her then Earth will be pretty screwed.
All bets are off if Tayzzyronth themselves get involved though. Finality Tuna would probably have to harness all of the Cocoon's power to hold that thing off and I'm not sure if Earth would survive a battle of that scale.
The mental image of 621 in loader 4 (with bad cooks), Rusty in steel haze ortus, walter in HAL-826 and Ayre in SOL-644 staring down the tidal wave of the swarm coming towards them is a glorious one.
"I got one last job for you 621....take out as many until we see the sky again."
"Let's make the end worth remembering buddy, I got your back, I hope you got mine.
"Raven I....I'm with you....as I always have and always will be."
Wuthering Waves - The widespread disaster of The Lament across Solaris 3 now seems inconsequential compared to the unending Swarm.

FFXIV endwalker spoilers >!The warrior of light and friends previously defeated the universal-scaled apocalyptic incarnation of despair so I think Eitheyris can manage a few bugs!<
Some people here don't seem to understand that the Swarm can literally just go full suicidal mode and bomb an entire area and it won't even be a fraction of their amount. Also, the Swarm can release these weird hallucigens to where it can literally infect your entire civilization without you realizing it until it's too late as you'd literally see them bursting out of people. There's also emanators that are big enough to easily eat a star and turn it into massive hubs of nests to create more of themselves.
Unless your game can actively create a way to essentially create your own section of space to where nothing can get to you then you're gonna be eating with the swarm bugs and they'll win in terms of endurance (Glamoth even fell against just true stings and not Emanators and in the end they died/lost while the Swarm still exists)
Makes me want to read the lore on how the hsr universe handled it, all I know is like 4 aeons teamed up to subdue the aeon then a 5th sealed it in amber.
Well.. essentially tons of Aeons were actually involved: Terminus, Ho-oH, Tazzyroth, Aha, Fuli, Akivili, Qlipoth, Ena, Idrilla, IX, Xipe, and Ouroboros.
Firstly: Terminus (The Finality) told a bunch of guys about where to go which lead them to kill all of the bugs but one which gave birth to Tazzyroth.
Second: Tazzyroth (The propagation)was spreading which lead them to interact with Ouroboros (The Voracity aka a black hole with a thought) which created a lot of chaos that Ena couldn't control
Third: Ena (The order) soon asked help from Qlipoth (The preservation) to quell the Tazzyroth. Aha (The Elation) and Akivili (The Trailblaze) just.. joined in to help them.
Fourth: Aha thought it was funny to get Ena eaten/absorb by Xipe(The Harmony), but luckily Qlipoth continued the deal and bonked Tazzyroth then encased them in amber.
Fifth: Ouroboros was eating a bunch of the swarm but disappeared at some point.
Sixth: Without the Aeon (and the Emanators) the Swarm went off without any thoughts but to continue their only purpose and instinct: Propagate. So without a higher power the Swarm essentially just grew weaker and weaker as different factions chipped away at them. (But they still exist)
Seventh: Ho-oH (The Equilibrium) was essentially controlling everything in the background to where their main purpose is to keep the universe in Balance, so (I personally believe) the entire Swarm Disaster was to essentially checkmate Ena and kill them off which allowed other Aeons to be birthed like: Nanook, Yaoshi, and Lan.
The HSR universe essentially just immobilised the Main powers of the Swarm (The Aeon and the Emanators) which left the stragglers on their own that can be dealt with by Factions like the IPC, Astral Express, Glamoth, or even be killed by some Aeons as I'm assuming that Nanook won't discriminate on killing the Swarm. The Swarm disaster only lasted for like a short while but essentially affected 2/3 of the living universe.
(Btw They don't directly mention a good portion of the other Aeons, using titles instead)
As if the lands between aren't f%cked enough as they are......ah screw it! Purge the bugs.....incinirate them in yellow flames....ahhh may chaos take the world....[MAY CHAOS TAKE THE WORLD](https://youtu.be/lwTNzviKCDk?si=qjEubqaSFoO0WdyD)

*as the newly crowned lord of frenzied flame cleanses the world of all that divides aswell as the foreign invaders, the now unleashed outer god of frenzy confronts the propagation aeon in the higher planes of existence, the battle for who gets the right to destroy everything has begun*
Well, Samus herself is VERY strong, to the point she could do stuff like freeze the surface of a star, but the Swarm has numbers, so I wonder if she could hold on for long enough, probably not, since it isn't Dread.
I am pretty sure my Age of Wonders 4 empire curbstomps them into oblivion. I outswarm it.
Every bug that dies gives me additional magical power, with no upper limit. Every citizen of my empire that dies gives me magical power, with no upper limit. And every few deaths gives me another cast of Mass Resurrection, with no upper limit, which only costs me soul energy, which I get whenever anything dies.
Also, every time a swarm bug dies, there's a 30% chance it comes back as a zombie swarm bug under my control. And every time a resurrection goes out, *every single dead swarm bug comes back as a zombie under my control*.
Yeah, I am pretty sure the Swarm just loses this. Just kill faster than I can resurrect doesn't work when the faster they kill, the faster I can resurrect.
What'll happen if they just.. Bombard you with tons of swarm? Sure you can kill them a lot, but they explode upon death and I'm guessing including your own swarm bugs meaning they can actively turn your entire empire into a minefield or even just get one of the emanators to eat the entire planet easily.
Tbf considering there's an equivalent to capital G god in the form of Arceus, pokemon escapes the swarm disaster perfectly fine.
Palkia and Dialga could probably just no diff the whole swarm too considering their mastery over space and time, but I'm not sure how good those two are and how resistant the swarm is to those kinds of powers.
Necrozma would probably make the swarm disaster 5x worse by trying to do his thing to Tazzyronth, and Victini automatically ensures pokemon victory.
The only practical problem is that you just know some child is going to throw a masterball at Tazzyronth, send him into battle against a bug catcher and immediately doom the whole planet the second he uses propagate.
The Swarm is no match for Managed Deomocracy!
But on a serious note, the Helldivers universe stands no chance against it, even if Super Earth fights alongside thier enemies, because it doesn't have stupidly overpowered shit that can destroy systems and planets in seconds unlike the HSR universe.
Master Duel so Yugioh…. Idk man if the swarm has to fight under the universal law of card games, meaning fighting and destruction is not allowed and literally everything must be done through card games, 50/50.
If not, well Kaiba can probably get rid of the swarm in a few days, he did hack the afterlife for a duel.
The swarm invading Teyvat, Neuvillette gets sad in court and it starts to rain, Nahida gets into action while Nilou dances and Kokomi does jellyfish things, swarm dies of bloom
Suddenly the world of Dark Souls 3 got even bleaker
Immortal humans versus rapidly cloning bugs. It's either a stalemate or very very slow human victory
I mean, if we're talking swarm pre-bug aeons (idk how to spell THEIR name) fall, its def gonna be an endless stalemats.
No way it'd be pre-aeon, still remember one of the sim univ occurrence scenarios with a starving swarm bug and the option to give it a tiny piece of food made it instantly proliferate and begin filling the forest area you're at prior to them attacking you
*stalemate
It would be very interesting to see how the path of propagation fares in a setting built around inevitable entropy
Immortal humans restricted to a single planet vs bugs that clone fast enough to consume galaxies.
They threatened the universe itself to get the other Aeons to jump their Aeon
My game was Elden Ring. Which world do you think would survive better, the Lands Between or Lothric? (Out of all the titles, I'd probably say Yharnam)
Considering the lands between had 1 (two if including the realm of Shadow) Emenator like being it should do better
As well as the meddling influences of Aeon-like gods…
I’d be like, “wow the new swamp section is pretty rough. The devs really hate us.”
It's fine, Timmie can take them
He's been training pigeons for this day.
Same, but it's Timmy and Tommy from Animal Crossing. They got this.

Just a lot more bugs suddenly
Dammit, the devs broke the spawn rates again?!
Business as usual then.
Just this time are kamikaze bugs.
And they can fly in space also clone them self on your face

Just another day in the grim darkness of the 41st millennium. what's a second somehow worse Tyrannid invasion between friends?

Any SMT verse except the Persona ones are gonna do just fine
**swarm appears** The indomitable human spirit : https://i.redd.it/7bcp6im83dad1.gif
I dont even think the SEAF would notice anything being off until like three months into the fight. “Hey, Gary, do these bugs seem… different to you?”
Bug evolution is an enemy propaganda. Stay focused, diver.
Heroic spirits vs The swarm How will it go?
Would that giant crystal spider become self replicating?
................Highly likely
In that case the swarm's the least of our worries.
Agree,ORT propagating would be way worse
I think Ort can already self propigate, considering it replicated millions of Fantasy trees using its np after eating 1. Its more likely that it doesn't because it would spend more time eating itself than gaining new traits making it an evolutionary dead end.
That one random-ass pest exterminator who's been chilling on the Throne of Heroes forever: "My time has come." Strange/Fake's False Rider might actually just solo given enough time if the bugs can die from illness.
The inventor of insecticide being summoned as a Grand Caster : I've been born for this !
Heroic spirits Includes my bro Guilgas, the swarm would be destroyed completely

Does Doom Guy kill the swarm or do they just reproduce and stall for eternity 🤔
Doomslayer would probably ignore them. The Swarm isn't explicitly demonic in nature.
Doomslayer has been shown to care about humanity, if the swarm is an extinction-level threat, i'd not be surprised if he decided to fight. He has already fought non-demons for humanities sake.
They would just stall for eternity I guess since Doom Guy is just 1 person and these thing can clone themselves instantly mid battle

As a fellow Tenno, the hardest part of fighting the swarm would be deciding which warcrime I'd use to utterly destroy the swarm.
I'd like to see how they fare against Saryn and her spores.
The swarm would fix Saryns biggest issue in fights, running out if targets for her spores. Give me a team of Wisp with Dispensary helminthed over her solar flare, Octavia, Saryn and either Khora or Nekros and I'd have your swarm issue fixed fast.
Saryn would propagate her spores endlessly thanks to the Swarm. She used the Propagation to destroy the Propagation.
Or, you can just BURN THEM TO ASHES
The infested update for the Railjack that we will never get
True sting vs Kuva Zarr. No matter who wins my eyes lose.
Mankind is dead The universe is full Bugs are fuel
They would be burned by all 2 fire type evolutionary lines of sinnoh
But the swarm love using self destruct and explosion. And you know their ability is going to be Aftermath. Also that they probably are Bug / Fire with how many of them violently explode so you probably can't burn them.
Driftblim sends his regards
If that's the case, then the local legendary pokemon intervene and destroy the swarm using their own cosmic powers.
Now i have to imagine a cave, but its just all swam with confusion ray, Explosion and other bullshit but low xp und high encounter rate. Add reflection dmg on that as well
Sadly, Aloy is probably screwed.
Earth Aloy or Teyvat Aloy?
Great call! I was referring to Horizon, but I did play Genshin yesterday.
I mean they're both just as screwed, but still, it's a distinction to be made.
I wonder how the swarm deals with biochemical weapons like Saryn from Warframe. She was a Warframe made to fight the infestation after all
Professor Oak has a lot of new bug types to add to the pokedex...
Honkai Impact 3rd I'm curious if Finality Kiana could defeat the swarm
Same here. I want to say she can just finger gun them all to death but I have no idea if the powerscaling is accurate.

The Swarm disaster only lasted for like a short while but essentially affected 2/3 of the living universe. (Btw They don't directly mention a good portion of the other Aeons, using titles instead)
Kirby Just eats them faster
XCOM 2. Bladestorm Ranger should do the job just fine.
Vertin is already a child Soldier esque individual. I don't want her to go through more problems.
When you thought that the things happening in Huanglong couldn’t get any worser. (Wuthering waves)
As if the lands between aren't f%cked enough as they are......ah screw it! Purge the bugs.....incinirate them in yellow flames....ahhh may chaos take the world....[MAY CHAOS TAKE THE WORLD](https://youtu.be/lwTNzviKCDk?si=qjEubqaSFoO0WdyD) https://preview.redd.it/99sy0t5qqcad1.jpeg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0a418e934c34028a6f25027e2b4d3ded6c86a1c7 *as the newly crowned lord of frenzied flame cleanses the world of all that divides aswell as the foreign invaders, the now unleashed outer god of frenzy confronts the propagation aeon in the higher planes of existence, the battle for who gets the right to destroy everything has begun*
My Horse Girls would simply outrun them.
They'd get rolled by 3 - 6 crayon eaters looking for loot and a good time.
"You you have the slightest idea how little that narrows it down?"
**Guardians make their own fate.**
Ah, and that's just it. My mind went to Borderlands lol, another series where that description feels pretty applicable.
The swarms gonna get turned into guns.
Can we make the swarm into a gun? Intrinsic explosive payload trait
Super metroid, actually I'm not sure
Well, Samus herself is VERY strong, to the point she could do stuff like freeze the surface of a star, but the Swarm has numbers, so I wonder if she could hold on for long enough, probably not, since it isn't Dread.
Everyone would die💀💀
Do you know how little that narrows it down?
Who would win 1 Billion Bugs or all Pokémon?
I think Necrozma just torches them ~~along with the rest of the universe~~
Ah yes, a war between seaborn, swarm and rock cancer.
I had to scroll so down to see an arknights enjoyer

Persona 4 Golden hydrogem bomb vs coughing teenagers
Nah the scaling in persona & SMT is so fucked that the coughing teenagers are the favored to win.
The Myriad Truths in question:
Warframe, just another Friday lol. Swarm gonna get melted by all the red crits.
They'd become obese cause the last game i played was cookie run kingdom
the denizens of Elden Ring thought they had a rough life before...
Kratos might actually stop killing gods for a minute.
ARES! DESTROY THE PROPAGATION AND MY LIFE IS YOURS!
Well, we’re gonna test how “legendary” these Pokémon truly are!
Angry Ruan Mei voice when a kid has Tazzyronth in a ball on their belt.
terraria calamity, good fucking bye swarm
i played osu. there's no overworld or lore. do the bugs just fill the screen or what
They replicate until the game crashes. Bugs that cause bugs.
Honkai impact 3rd. Sky People 2.0, here we go!
They are even worse than the sky people
I mean... the swarm can't really do anything to DMC 5 Dante and Vergil except mildly inconvenience them
Warthunder They cant fight the lag spikes and Russian Bias!
Within hours someone releases classified documents on the swarm.
Kirby says hi.
Noita Hmm, infinite recursive spell vs infinite propagation Whatever happen my PC wont be able to handle it
Signalis... bro they were already fucked as is
Dragon ball legends I'm on vacation so I don't have a lot of options for games but I'm pretty sure the swarm would get squashed
Technically it was overwatch and they’re mostly pretty normal people so they’re probably fucked
Oh damn, the universe in starfield is so f****d lol
Swarm in Warframe? shiii we deal with worse on the daily

The swarm invading Teyvat, Neuvillette gets sad in court and it starts to rain, Nahida gets into action while Nilou dances and Kokomi does jellyfish things, swarm dies of bloom
Childe will be having a day of live with the riptides.
