Oh Beez-Buddy, how we miss you so and in great need of such ancient wisdom now.

TabbyFoxHollow

Homie stood up when it counted. Just didn’t last long til Ser Crispy sat him back down.

WhatTheFhtagn

Lord BEEEEEEESbury

GCN22

i see, a fellow glidus fan

exotics

Ha ha ya the fact they seemed surprised or confused about his death was hilarious.

agent_wolfe

Viserys did kindof give off “living Mummy” vibes.

Hkrlje

He had been like that for years, if anything the night he died followed the first time he displayed any strength in years. I would be surprised too, if someone died on their first good day in years

lhobbes6

Im not saying the characters in the show would be aware of this but suddenly being coherent with energy is something that does occur with people near the end of their life from time to time.

EnvironmentalRock827

For all of Ser Crispys blather about honor and restoring it, he's way past a redemption. Curious to see how the Kingmaker gets his comeuppance.

asecteduc

Ser Criston shook his head

Oh_I_still_here

In the words of Glidus, Lymon BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESBURY

oftenevil

Not gonna lie Glombo’s s01 BLISSTAKES made watching the show that much more enjoyable. I understand and respect his reasoning for not trying to crank out a new video every week, but damn were we spoiled back in the first few weeks of s01.

BlisusNotJesus

I mean there are the videos he does with schwift, which come out every week

oftenevil

For sure. I’m definitely using nebula way more now that Glimby and Schwift have joined their ranks.

BlisusNotJesus

I love me 3 hours of dragon talk

Oh_I_still_here

There's also apparently a 23 hour Jon Snow video. That alone is tempting to sign up to Nebula. I've never used it before though.

BlisusNotJesus

There is and it is glorious!

Qedy111

And the videos made by his evil half twin, shift, are also pretty good

BlisusNotJesus

Do not compare that fraud alt shift x to out lord and saviour Schworblo!

agent_wolfe

Lamao, I gotta catch up on his stuff.

kabbajabbadabba

>Lamao yes lamao you needa tooa

TasteTheGraveyard

Dude should've had a piece of paper declaring Rhaenyra heir and update it yearly. Paper is very effective in pre-Cersei times.

Minesh1989

Viserys is the reason his family is scattered and fighting with each other. He was as weak as Daemon said. ![gif](giphy|iPILnIBJosT9msgPNq|downsized)

cybertoothe

And the idea to spurn daemon was Otto, who wanted Rheanrya to be queen and marry Aegon, which would have 1. Prevented Deamon from being king, preventing a war. And 2. Let Aegon be king (although he'd be king regent) preventing a war over Rheanrya being queen. Otto would have the world become slightly more progressive while preventing bloodshed but Viserys rejected the idea, and Rheanrya grew too close to Daemon for Otto to have faith in her as a queen. Otto truly only ever wanted peace, he never lied to his king and yet visery's blindness (through the loss of Aemma) caused the succesion to be in doubt by the realm.

Fisher9001

Daemon was as far from the saint as possible. He caused real problems back then and even later for Rhaenyra. It's not like evil Otto wanted to get rid of good prince.

cybertoothe

Yes that's what I'm saying.

cybertoothe

Yes that's what I'm saying.

imperatrixderoma

Are you drinking green Kool aid? Otto should've had Viserys marry Laena if he wanted peace.

cybertoothe

And then what? By that point Rheanrya was the heir. Viserys had no intent on unaming her. Even if he has a male kid with Laena the realm would tear itself apart over a war of succesion. Otto was preventing that.

TasteTheGraveyard

"I don't want a war over succession so I'm going to start a civil war instead and further piss off the common folk by murdering and imprisoning the opposition." There would've still been unrest with Rhaenyra but it wouldn't have been war. It'd have either died down organically or, justly punish those who retracted their oaths and leadership of their house gets passed to the next. Otto started the war he wanted to avoid and worse.

cybertoothe

>"I don't want a war over succession so I'm going to start a civil war instead and further piss off the common folk by murdering and imprisoning the opposition." He didn't start the war himself. That was Visery's incompetence. >There would've still been unrest with Rhaenyra but it wouldn't have been war. No one truly knows what would happen. But Otto could have prevented even unrest. > It'd have either died down organically or, justly punish those who retracted their oaths and leadership of their house gets passed to the next. Probably not, especially if Viserys married Laena, the sea snake would defiantly push for his grandson to sit the iron throne. >Otto started the war he wanted to avoid and worse. He avoided daemon being king, but viserys rejected the most peaceful option. Then Rheanrya, who Otto helped gain her title, married the man Otto tried to keep the realm out of the hands of. He simply wanted to prevent this but was pushed away by viserys and rheanrya at nearly every turn.

TasteTheGraveyard

Viserys' choice wasn't incompetence. He made his choice, and it was on Otto, the small council, and the Kingsguard at minimum to quell any unrest that started. Houses made their oaths to Rhaenyra when she was named because she was the only other option aside from Daemon. Otto's self righteousness and incompetence started the war. He still had a scheme to usurp the throne fron Rhaenyra...which as we've seen...still would've led to war because houses backed her, and war would've erupted if it came to his plan to kill her and her children if she didn't renounce her claim and bend the knee. And then, in a further display of incompetence, he put Aegon in the throne.... a drunk hedonist who hadn't gone through day 1 of instruction to be king. And then expected Aegon, who's always done what he wanted...to obey. Bro would've been better off just dealing with a handful of surly old men.

cybertoothe

>Viserys' choice wasn't incompetence. Correct. His lack of choice was. He should have called a council at Harrenhal to prevent a war but he didn't. >He made his choice, and it was on Otto, the small council, and the Kingsguard at minimum to quell any unrest that started. Houses made their oaths to Rhaenyra when she was named because she was the only other option aside from Daemon. Yes, they all swore oaths to Rhaenrya and yet many houses still broke that oath. >Otto's self righteousness and incompetence started the war. If he did nothing Daemon would be king, which would be disastrous. If he did nothing and Rheanrya became Queen war would happen regardless. At least he undeniably tried to prevent this. While trying to prevent it he ended up creating the greens, a side of the war he tried to prevent. >He still had a scheme to usurp the throne fron Rhaenyra...which as we've seen...still would've led to war because houses backed her, and war would've erupted if it came to his plan to kill her and her children if she didn't renounce her claim and bend the knee. Yes? But if Rheanrya was killed before the war began it wouldn't be as bad as if she was alive. So what's the point? He tried to make the war less bloody? >And then, in a further display of incompetence, he put Aegon in the throne.... a drunk hedonist who hadn't gone through day 1 of instruction to be king. And then expected Aegon, who's always done what he wanted...to obey. No one is on the throne due to ability to rule. He didn't put him on the throne because he is a good ruler, but because he'd be the most accepted ruler.

imperatrixderoma

How the fuck was he preventing that at all? He's the reason that Rhaenyra is heir anyway, he didn't want Daemon so he made it clear that they needed an interim. That's what happened. It is all Otto's fault, if Viserys marries Laena there's no Green vs. Black war.

cybertoothe

No, the realm wouldn't accept Rheanrya as a queen no matter how good a queen she is. Thus is becuase she is a woman. The realm would only accept a true born son from viserys. However, viserys would never unname Rheanrya as heir. So Otto married his daughter to the king so he can have his grandson marry Rheanrya. Thus Rheanrya is queen but married to Aegon whom people think should be the kind, and he is (kind regent.). If married to Laena it risks that plan. Then people would support laena's child to be heir, not Rheanrya, and war would happen.

imperatrixderoma

Mate, I can't believe that you think Otto is this selfless lol.

cybertoothe

I did not say that. I just said he clearly had a plan. He didn't try to convince Viserys to name Rheanrya out of selflishness.

imperatrixderoma

The most crucial part of the plan for Otto was his grandson on the throne.

cybertoothe

He never wanted Rheanrya on the throne with aegon married to her.
