Actually it's just identifying which serious mongoose this is, we either assume that there are at least 2289 active mongeese in the field right now or that he is just the 2290th mongoose to be registered through many years of mongeese work.
Cement truck had his chute all the way up above the top of his truck. Clothes lined like 3 of the intersections stoplights and brought mnt gap’s down before he realized 😑
Yup, although when he finally realized, he got out, lowered the chute, but just kept driving. Figure that’s not going to work in his favor either when the cops catch up to him…
No, this is a 911 phone call. If this doesn't get fixed someone is very likely going to be in an accident, it needs to get fixed ASAP, and 911 is the way to make sure that happens.
It's not rumor--that's the current plan by the city school system. Will happen in about 10 years if they continue with it. Supposedly the city wants to keep the land though.
Dang, we had no power yesterday and now this today. I wonder if it will mess with our power today…south Huntsville electricity is straight ass, we lose power at least 5 times a year😾

I’m off Mountain Gap rd, last week we lost power twice. Here’s a screenshot from my ADT power outage
That is a 911 call, FYI. Anything that creates an immediate traffic hazard is a 911 call, be it large debris in the road, a traffic light that isn't working (Unless there is already a police officer there),
This is both a traffic light down and object in the road, well worthy of a 911 phone call.
Just to make this a better point, I saw what appeared to be a large piece of insulation on 255 one Saturday morning. I called 911 to report it because I was afraid someone would swerve to avoid it and actually run in to someone, they seemed grateful I called it in and it was taken care by the time I passed through again.
911 isn't just for instances where someone is having a heart attack, or an active crime is happening. If something needs to be fixed NOW or else someone has a good chance of getting hurt, and that affects a roadway, then calling 911 is appropriate. I think even some potholes that are particularly bad (Better be a really bad one!) would qualify. Sure, there are abuses out there, but the number is there to be used. Since the intersection is located on US Hwy 231, the maintaining agency will be the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT). For immediate assistance notify the police to direct traffic until ALDOT arrives.
From other comments, I gathered that the guy that did here had left some kind of chute extended up in the air, a chute that’s meant to go down before driving.
Thanks for reaching out, we’re taking care of it.
Who is we? Who are you? Edit: This has such strong "Top Men" energy! I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS
Can’t you see he is a serious mongoose with 2290 level.

😆😆
Don't worry. I'm on the case.
Probably a lineman that works Huntsville Utilities
Thanks for taking care of it. It’s my week next week.

He got Hobbs & Pkwy too!!
Serial offender
I know this isn't funny, but dang this gave me a much needed laugh today.
OOps lol I feel so bad for that driver that's a big 00f
Yup, although when he finally realized, he got out, lowered the chute, but just kept driving. Figure that’s not going to work in his favor either when the cops catch up to him…
Did you happen to see what concrete company was branded on the side of the truck, or anything unique about the truck?
KBH Equipment
It may or may not be SRM....
Oh dear lol. Maybe he had to get the concrete to where it was going
Srsly? Truck drivers in Huntsville are wacky. They take down highway signage AND street lights? Wild
Dump truck and cement truck drivers are always the worst ones too. Most bigger trucks give me no problem.
How they arnt required to have an identifying plate or number easily visible on the back is beyond me.
I think it's the same "me first" mentality that drives a lot of the awkward driving interactions around here.
I’ve seen a lot of people run a red light, but not many run over a red light.
Do NOT call this guy over for limbo!

Non emergency HPD line 256-427-7226
This would be a 911 call. There is a high tensile cable blocking the road, someone's going to have a VERY bad day if that isn't fixed very quickly...
r/mtngap (just kidding)
A subreddit for a single road in HSV does seem like a good idea though lmao
It could also include alum of Mtn Gap elementary and middle schools. Old pals could reunite.
There are dozens of us!! Well, probably a bit more.
Rumor has it they are going to close both Mtn Gap schools once they build another school. The land will probably be home to a Dollar General
It's not rumor--that's the current plan by the city school system. Will happen in about 10 years if they continue with it. Supposedly the city wants to keep the land though.
the serial offenders need their own to keep the complaining contained: r/parkway, r/researchpark, r/565, r/75

Really? I'm in south HSV near Hobbs, and I haven't lost power for more than a minute since 2011. Even then, it's very rare.

That sucks. Are your neighborhood power lines overhead or buried? Mine are buried, and I'm wondering if that has something to do with it.
Ofc mine are overhead😅

Made the drive home a PITA

The police were there earlier when I drove by.
Thank Obama

My husband sent me a very similar photo yesterday lol

I would call the utility company
You... just posted it. Just now. That's how I'm seeing it. On your post.

I have room on my refrigerator.
Update: the stoplight has been fixed and the road is crossable today.
My Dad drove a Concrete truck for 30+ years. Wonder why he never hit traffic lights?
From other comments, I gathered that the guy that did here had left some kind of chute extended up in the air, a chute that’s meant to go down before driving.
You’ve got a green light. Go. Clean up in an out of court settlement.
It’s green so go
How's it hanging HV? Two inches from the ground you say! Oh my!
