Dennis just acted odd and spoke in a vague Eastern European accent for a few days, and the rest of the gang just went along with it because Dennis is a psycho. It took the glory hole incident with Frank to snap him out of it, then Dennis expelled Jan, never to be spoken of again.

Dee criticizes every aspect of DB’s life, believing that she would have been a better mother than his adoptive parents were.
Charlie believes that he and DB are “basically brothers” and engages in increasingly agressive “older brother” behaviour.
Frank doesn’t recall DB, becomes suspicious that he’s pulling some kind of scam.
When Dee is giving birth and Dennis approaches the counter with on of his “Hammer of Thor” rants and she just walks away mumbling about how she could destroy him and not even think twice
