Don't reply to directly to his jabs, just say that you're upset by his comments and that you would like to leave the conversation and get back to work.
He'll look like a dick to the people around him, which will make him not want to continue.
I'll usually follow these rough steps:
1. What w as that? / I'm sorry can you repeat that?
2. Are you trying to hurt my feelings?
3.a (Yes-he looks like a dick and it's bullying/hrs
3.b well that actually does hurt my feelings.
1. Fight back/speak back
2. Ignore and undervalue his opinion
3. Ask why? For examples: Why u ask like that?
4. Ask "are you asking that on purpose"?
5. Just be honest in confess way, for example: Damn why am i feeling offended by your questions?
6. Just answer with half-heartedly kind of answer.
His actions are his to take responsability for, your reactions however, are completely under your control, and it's really advisible for you to control them.
I'd suggest reading stoicism as they can teach you how to manage your emotions, the bible how to be in peace with those who wrong you and yourself and keep developing your moral system, how a good person would react in your position, picture that highest possible good you can imagine and strive for it.
