I bet they saw them but didn't care. It looked dry to them and those stupid construction workers were just keeping it closed for no reason.
After all they are all lazy and take way too long. they always see them just standing around talking. when important people like the car in picture have places to be and things to do.
nope, it wasn't that deep. I kept driving. It wasn't until we got where we were going, and looked at the car that we noticed there was asphalt EVERYWHERE on the car.
Plus I grew up in the 80s where unless you were totally hammered, you didn't go to jail for a DUI. certainly not for just being high. I remember a cop once poured all my beers out (because I was under age) and I was pissed off about it. Ah to be young and dumb again...
Hard to say without knowing the exact dimensions and cost of the concrete.
But my rough calcs it's about 8.5k. That's not including the cost of labor to rip it out and put it back in. I wouldn't be surprised if they charged the insurance company 20-25k
Well, yesterday I hauled 6.5 yards of concrete and the customer paid about $1300. It looks like the patch this person drove on is probably gonna be a 30 yarder. So that brings the cost to about 6k for just the concrete not including the cost to rip it out and repour it.
Of course this is a very rough guesstimate, only assuming the yardage, and not taking into account the difference in price from one company in one place to another, the specific mix, and things like that.
I know somebody who IS enough of an idiot to do this...he got himself stuck on a rock in a stickshift out in nevada.
