This asshole already recoding because he knows he's doing something objectionable and someone is gonna have something to say. Don't fucking do shit for attention that you clearly know you're doing for attention and then act all indignant and like you're being "harassed" when you get it! JFC
Edit: omg I didn't realize I still had like 15 seconds left in the video this sanctimonious twat waffle talking about peoples preferences and remaining calm and unenforceable authority all while riding around on a bike!? Everything about this dude he has carefully curated about himself to piss normal people off. Fuck him, fuck his bike, fuck his stupid outfit, and fuck his moronically obtuse version of "agree to disagree" attitude that's clearly his entire personality. I hope a Cybertruck enforces its preferences on him.
Picking fights with minimum wage earners and those with the least amount of power …
He says in his own video, something to the effect of: I should buy one assembled (“for context”)and the employee/ worker says that he has one set up …
So, he’s deliberately videoing so for content … which is, to put it generously, lame …
Bullying isn’t cool … or does TikTok straight up value / promote bullying?
Not the first or last time somebody behaves cringe-ly on the internet. Justifying it in paragraphs after the fact adds to the cringe.
Nobody cares if you want to argue to be correct, they just want you to do socially accepted behaviour when in public.
Id have told him to pay for it and then I will help him either build it or I will go gather up the other stuff he intends to buy his choice. Opening a box and assembling product like that is not ok. If he bought it and during assembly discovered a problem with it I would gladly exchange or refund provided he didnt vandalize the product.
Either way what he was doing was going for clicks and views and he should be demonetized. Beyond that people like him should be trespassed from stores a few times. They can make their videos protesting at the property line while other people get on with their lives and shopping.
It's the fact that the employee said they had pre built ones and he ignored that. Worked at home depot as a cashier, and it always surprised how shocking it was to see how erratic and weird our customers would be. It even blew my mind finding out how often people steal from Home Depot and just...get away with it.
Why can't people just ask?
They would have let him buy it, and let him put it together.
I would have taken it away after he said "we can't all get what we want"
I'd have been "you're right there, pal"
People at Home Depot tend to be really nice in my experience too, I bet they would’ve helped him assemble it 😅 or like the employee says, give him the floor model that’s already assembled. As far as they know, this guy is just destroying their property he hasn’t paid for yet
That’s what I picked up on too! The employee who was actually being quite polite about it offered to sell one of them that is already put together. This guy is just a moron, a moron with absolutely no regard for the people around him. Not only is he inconveniencing the employees but there is absolutely no consideration given for the other customers wishing to peruse that aisle. What an absolute Wanker.
This is private property and no you can't just do what you want even if it's a store. Saying "we prefer if you..." was just the guys way of trying to not have a full blown argument. Really could have this guy removed from the store, but a sale is a sale, and the employees would just have to put it all away themselves or attempt to sell this assembled.
Not sure how old this video is and this appears to be a Home Depot where at least when my ex was an employee there, this is actually allowed in the store as long as you are purchasing the product being assembled. There were actually areas in store to do this. The worst thing the employees would be able to do, is have the guy move out of that area, for safety reasons to others. Other than that, this guy's only crime is being a DICK.
I worked at home depot for 18 months and can say for certain assembly is not allowed UNTIL IT IS PURCHASED. The only assembly allowed prior to purchase is for tool boxes, lawn/snow equipment, patio decor and grills for display which is done by certain associates. if a associate is available you can politely as to have help putting something together once you have completed your purchase. Being in lumber and having mechanical ability I have helped put together items BUT ONLY UPON PROOF OF PURCHASE or verification from the associate and cashier who made the sale. But never would we allow a customer to do what this guy did, pieces come up missing the whole item becomes a loss.
As others have stated I have never heard of any home depot allowing in store construction, there is a reason that home depot contracts out people to build stuff like grill sets, wagons, wheel barrels etc. Source: I worked at home depot & there vendors. Even in some odd hypothetical where this would be permitted technically he could still be removed from the property and trespassed as no reason is needed to remove someone from private property. I have seen people removed for less than what he was doing.
Damnit! I hate this video, I was intending to buy one of those carts, but now that I see you have to assemble them I might just get a regular wheelbarrow and save $150.
you can probably request that it be assembled, and come back for it. just have to ask nicely and they'll probably do it for you. our store has assemblers come every like Tuesday or Thursday and assemble the grills, picnic tables, toolboxes, etc.
Wow, all that explanation. It’s almost like he prepared for someone to be duly upset from him acting like a prick. Sucks we all have to share the world with these people….
Shops (especially gyms) need to start enforcing as a condition of entry that customers must obtain a content filming permit with $10,000.00 waive-able fee from the store manager for all social media content, to discourage this type of crap
People reeeally need to learn the difference between a public space and a private business. Too many people saying "you're not allowed to film me" in public, and too many idiots like this thinking they have *rights* in a private establishment.
Most stores do have rules against this, for many reasons. First off, until he bought it, it is not his property. As such, he can not open the boxes without the store’s permission. Second off, he is blocking the aisle, which can be both a fire hazard and an OSHA issue. Third, if he does not buy it, the store might not be able to resell the item, thus losing revenue.
Pay for it and assemble outside of the store or you will be forced to leave. Easy. You open anything before paying that is grounds for theft and an employee has every right to tell you to get the fuck out.
As an HD employee myself I know for a fact that we keep one or two of those pre assembled just for this purpose. We really do try to bring convenience to our customers.
Years ago I worked at a book store. It amazed me what people felt they were entitled to do. Like grab magazines and read them cover to cover in the cafe without paying, spill on them, and then never buy them. We had to throw them out.
I think the most gutsy was when I discovered a book that was on how to make balloon animals. It came with a bag of balloons attached to the book. Some asshole opened the bag of balloons and I’m guessing made balloon animals in the store. Then they left the book with its cellophane unwrapped and a half empty bag of balloons sitting on a table.
I guess if you don’t count laws as “rules” then it’s okay to break them
Wonder how he would like it if he was selling a Lego set and someone just opened it and built it with no cash given? I’m sure he’d figure out why that’s not okay when it’s his stuff so let’s get this mans Lego!!
Of all the shitty tiktok videos on here, for some reason I hate this guy the most. Not quite sure what it is but theres something so unlikeable about him it oozes through the video.
He had the audacity to ask himself if he can just buy the one that was already put together when that's what the sales associate was trying to offer. This dude is a f****** idiot
As a former Home depot lumber department employee I can for sure tell you that had he asked the associate/a manager or cashier for assistance putting it together after purchasing they would have made such arrangements.
I so hate people like this!!!! It's not even the fact that he's putting it together at the store, it's the fact that he didn't pay for it before doing so, is the messed up part for me cause what if after he assembled it and ruined it he didn't want it anymore the workers are gonna have to waste the time to break it down and put it back. Just buy them and assemble it it's just that simple
Bottom line: It's not your property until you pay for it. Otherwise, it's just willful destruction of property and loitering. You are no longer a shopper.
This guy is the definition of a choad. Shame the employee didn't have the gall to make him pay then and there then kick him out of the store afterwards.
Why don’t people understand it’s not your property you can’t open up something sealed, but it happens constantly like it’s acceptable as an LP For similar store this is called vandalism. I would kick him out and ban him from the store and the store would back that because you can’t come in and open up merchandise that is not purchased then assemble it, a store is not a shop. The poor employee should be more authoritative with idiots like this, they think they have some sort of right to act how they want
One thing that would be fun to do is to have people like this trespassed from your store. You don't have to have much more than "we don't like him here, he's a disturbance", and they can be removed from the store, and if they come back they'll be arrested. It's fun.
He's more like insane. Why didn't he drive his car instead? Did you see at the ending he is biking one handed since his other hand is holding that cart. LOL. WOW.
You know what, if they insist on us having to buy everything in pieces, I am not sure if this guy is wrong. It would be nice if there was an allocated space to be able to do this though. Like a little, build it yourself section after the cashes with and area to do this.
Pay for it. Assemble it outside. Bring it back in with the receipt and ask if you can shop with it.
Or just politely ask for employees to help you get your products outside. And do it all there.
They literally have large Dollie’s and stuff for this kind of thing
This is so innocuous holy shit. No sneer, no weird look, not even staring. People look at other people in public spaces. It's how we know who's around us and what they're doing. God forbid somone be aware of their surroundings 🫠
This fine individual is partaking in an act of “cuntishness”. He’s behaved in this manner for so long he’s become cunstipated. I’m sure there’s a suitable name for him…..
My simple interaction as a former home depot associate would have been this:
Customer: I am going to put it together before I buy it.
Me: I can't allow that sir in case something becomes damaged or you lose pieces during assembly. What I can do for you is either sell you one that we have previously assembled right here or I would be willing to assist you with assembly once you have paid for your purchases today.
Customer: I would prefer I didn't get harassed while putting it together
Me: not a problem sir, I gave you two options on how to purchase one be it assembled or I can assist you assemble it once your purchases are made. If those aren't acceptable then I will have to ask you to leave or you can speak with my manager.
He was for sure being contrary on purpose , but I honestly see nothing wrong . Especially if he paid for it all, he’s right . There is no such rule that requires you purchase before using it first lol. It would have been better if he tried returning it all before he left .

Crackhead activities
Cyclist activities. I knew he was one before the video even cut to him on his bike
As a representative of cyclist's I pass him on to the crack heads.
As head of the crack heads, I respectfully decline, and offer him to the shoplifters.
Can confirm. As a cyclist, i have fixed my bike inside a home depot before.
Go away Methaniel!
I was just wondering what the male version of Methany was. Thank you.

Yep they need to drastically demonetize videos like this and pranks. People ruin everything.
Damn humans. They ruined humanity!!
People ruined it for people.
I basically love humanity, except for all the people in it.
They'll let you assemble something there without, "harassment," if you buy it first. This guy is fishing for objections.
Not the first or last time somebody behaves cringe-ly on the internet. Justifying it in paragraphs after the fact adds to the cringe. Nobody cares if you want to argue to be correct, they just want you to do socially accepted behaviour when in public.

Of course he rides a bike. Of fucking course he does.
As a longtime member of the BRC (Bike Riding Community), this man does not represent us
As a Dutch person, he doesn't represent us either.
Probably has a DUI or three.

Well said
Are you making fun of his vocabulary "repertoire"
If you can't say something nice...
Wack job

>"we can't all get what we want" "But if you wanted a ride in the back seat of a squad car then this is your lucky day."
Agreed. I wanted to cut down some foam insulation so they’d fit in my car. I just asked upfront and staff didn’t mind at all
He craves attention

You should see what he does with his cum
Tans his taint touching his toes with his butthole facing the sun
His wafting hand is strong.

Huffs his own farts.
He looks like a dude that would shower in cow piss for the “health benefits”

Completely agreed, noticed that too. Except, you should’ve put harassed in quote cause he wasn’t even harassed lol.
Im so sad Tik tok is getting banned. Where will all the morons go to get attention?
Hopefully not YouTube
they already on YouTube they were on Youtube before tik tolk existed
Instagram reels is already a shithole lol
Reddit
We’re a different type of moron. He certainly won’t fit in.
Vine
Meth tweaker shit
if he was tweaking he would be combining the wagon with other stuff
I polled all my Tweaker friends and they unanimously concurred that they would just run out with the already assembled one.

Employee should have said: "Hand me your credit card now or I will call the police."
I agree. I swear, the concept of private property is alien to most people. Fucking dickheads.
These are the precise kinds of dickheads that will rant and rave about THEIR private property though.
Dildo pay for it then build it how hard is that to comprehend 🤦♂️🤷♂️.. World has gone to pot
It makes too much sense. He doesn’t get the attention he wants. Decent folks do it. This asswipe is anything but
Damnit! I hate this video, I was intending to buy one of those carts, but now that I see you have to assemble them I might just get a regular wheelbarrow and save $150.
To be fair, they have one already assembled and ready to go.
yeah but it meant as a display piece

Of course he's a biker lmao
As soon as I heard him speak about his bike then everything made sense
In Australia we call these types "nobs." Anywhere else the same?
Same in UK!
Yes, in Ireland but spelled knob or knobend
These people vote
Wow, all that explanation. It’s almost like he prepared for someone to be duly upset from him acting like a prick. Sucks we all have to share the world with these people….

What an insufferable cock
What an entitled, horrible prick.
The biggest tool in the whole hardware store.
People reeeally need to learn the difference between a public space and a private business. Too many people saying "you're not allowed to film me" in public, and too many idiots like this thinking they have *rights* in a private establishment.
Ironic to say it here but social media needs to die

I had associate like him before. Meth is not a joke people. Know the signs.

i saw one guy take an impressionist art book into the bookstore toilet
Who does that? Like why do that? Im trying to get in and out of the store as quick as possible. That shit can wait til i get home.
Methfluencer?
This guy would be banned from the store if I was in charge there.
I guess if you don’t count laws as “rules” then it’s okay to break them Wonder how he would like it if he was selling a Lego set and someone just opened it and built it with no cash given? I’m sure he’d figure out why that’s not okay when it’s his stuff so let’s get this mans Lego!!
I can’t wait for the Tik Tok ban
Anyone wanna bet this dude fucking reeks of BO?
Whatever. Who gives a fuck.
As long as he bought it i dont see a problem
But why?, why do all of this? Lol
His user is abnormalmf. Username checks out.

He had the audacity to ask himself if he can just buy the one that was already put together when that's what the sales associate was trying to offer. This dude is a f****** idiot
He could have bought it and then assembled it by the doors or right outside. Wouldn’t have been an inconvenience whatsoever.
As a former Home depot lumber department employee I can for sure tell you that had he asked the associate/a manager or cashier for assistance putting it together after purchasing they would have made such arrangements.
What a douche.
This is called stealing. The guy should go to middle school before he tries to put anything together......
What an asshole.
Meth vibes.
What an asshole

Just another reason why TikTok can piss off (at least in the US)
Don't be a dick by blocking the aisle. Main character syndrome.
Bottom line: It's not your property until you pay for it. Otherwise, it's just willful destruction of property and loitering. You are no longer a shopper.
He doesn’t think it’s ok, he does it because he’s an AH that wants the reactions and ultimately attention from viewers.
It’s annoying but I guess if he paid for it I would shake my head and mumble something under my breath lol.
I fucking hate this guy
This guy is the definition of a choad. Shame the employee didn't have the gall to make him pay then and there then kick him out of the store afterwards.
"Requires plyers or wrench, goddamnit" If only he was in at a Home Depot, he'd be able to find such tools. What a fucking microwave head.
Did he purchase before he started to assemble it?
No that's the point. This is the kind of asshole who thinks they can just eat stuff at the grocery store without paying first
Heroin
I want him to say "Gee wizz" in that accent.
Is this where Louis Tully has been working since leaving the Ghostbusters? Edit: where not when
More manual cognitive resets need to be given out for FAFO actors
Fucken moron.. they should have kicked his ass out
Why don’t people understand it’s not your property you can’t open up something sealed, but it happens constantly like it’s acceptable as an LP For similar store this is called vandalism. Why would there be tools in the box?
Acting like a petulant child in public. Not a good look, bud.

Guy is a hazard in the store and on the street.
Esta escoria que se graba 24h, que coño le pasa en la puta cabeza???? Se pasan de narcisistas.....
What an idiot.
One thing that would be fun to do is to have people like this trespassed from your store. You don't have to have much more than "we don't like him here, he's a disturbance", and they can be removed from the store, and if they come back they'll be arrested. It's fun.
He's just trying to get someone to pay attention to him. Like everyone else in the world making "content"
This is the type of dude who uses the barbell right in front of the barbell rack. Fuck this guy.
And never re-racks the weights
Just take away the handle Nut&Bolt
Pretty sure if I see someone doing this crap I’m going to accidentally boot their camera into the next row before the convo really gets going.
Of course he's a fuckin cyclist too. What a fuckin surprise.
He needed nothing but to make a TikTok video.
Idiot.
i know why he thought it was ok. It's because he's a damn idiot.
I work at th home depot and unfortunately there isnt any policy on this. Though there should be. We have assembled ones for this reason.
He's more like insane. Why didn't he drive his car instead? Did you see at the ending he is biking one handed since his other hand is holding that cart. LOL. WOW.
Bros fucking brain dead
The shareholders don’t care- sales at all costs- safety and sanity be damned
He's on the dui special bike! Lmao
Why couldn’t he just pay for it first? Of course they’re going to question what you’re doing.
I'd have him trespassed. He's clearly a narcissists who needs toearn a lesson.
Security! Nut job in aisle 12
Why the hell are you filming yourself, everyone is weird as fuck
What a fuggin chode
That handle says it all. "abnormalmf."
I bet he ignores using the bike lane and takes up the whole road too.
Fucking bikers. Think the world revolves around them in their stupid outfits
Why video it, fuck-face? All part of the ever-expanding race for internet clout.
"We cant all get what we want" Proceeds to do whatever he wants
This is the kid that said their super power was a force field, all grown up
Bro thought he was him💀
Why do mfkers be ready to be weird at Home Depot?? I stay seeing my job on this damn app💀
You know what, if they insist on us having to buy everything in pieces, I am not sure if this guy is wrong. It would be nice if there was an allocated space to be able to do this though. Like a little, build it yourself section after the cashes with and area to do this.
To be fair Gorilla carts are pretty nice.

I suddenly want something very bad to happen to him.

This guy is a scumbag psychopath I can already tell he’s going to do some bad in the future
We should be allowed to hit dipshits with a belt. Not the buckle, but just like an old pro-wrestling strap match or something.
If I was an employee. I would gladly get fired to stomp a mudhole in his ass with my sz 15 boot.
P
Honestly I'm surprised they didn't just have him trespassed
He lives in a tent and shits in the woods for sure
What an imbecile
This fine individual is partaking in an act of “cuntishness”. He’s behaved in this manner for so long he’s become cunstipated. I’m sure there’s a suitable name for him…..
It not like they wouldn't have let him build the thing it in the parking lot. Just ... pay first.
“Harassed”
My simple interaction as a former home depot associate would have been this: Customer: I am going to put it together before I buy it. Me: I can't allow that sir in case something becomes damaged or you lose pieces during assembly. What I can do for you is either sell you one that we have previously assembled right here or I would be willing to assist you with assembly once you have paid for your purchases today. He was for sure being contrary on purpose , but I honestly see nothing wrong . Especially if he paid for it all, he’s right . There is no such rule that requires you purchase before using it first lol. It would have been better if he tried returning it all before he left .
