I don't think it ought to be encouraged, but it should be allowed. Ending your life is a major step, it should only and ONLY be a last resort. We need better psychological care and god knows this country needs to understand the meaning of the words 'mental health' as opposed to announcing any sign of depression as nazar lag gayi (true story IK about).
That being said, people above a certain age limit should be allowed to use it. Have stringent regulations to prevent misuse, maybe have 6-8 months of counselling mandatory before Euthanasia is allowed, but beyond a certain point, if the person wants to die, better to make it harmless and peaceful.
That's my two cents. You're all free to disagree, criticize or even oppose me, so long as it's done civilly.
For Dutch, it's a long process. This lady got approved after 2 years, and idk from where she got that she is terminally ill, which she can't ever get treated for and they say it has become a default option instead of choice. It's really weird times
