Aiff just cut funds for I-league, leagues don't have title sponsors. State leagues are not even conducted in many states. Pyramid will grow on its own as more stable clubs start to join. Forceful growth will be unstable. Croatia reduced teams in its top tier from 12 to 10 as not enough clubs were able to compete equally at the top. ISL should stop at 14 as well and introduce relegation.

Fellow premier league fan spotted. Setting up the league structure on the lines of PL, EFL, FA Cup, EFL Cup etc etc. a lot of needs to be changed bro. But before that the right people need to be placed at the right positions.

There should be 4 national leagues divides into 4 conferences , north , south , east and west , the feeders to these leagues will be the respective state leagues under such areas , india is a vast country so a nation wide national league is unsustainable , hence the 4 divisions , also no need for national league 1 and 2 , state leagues have clubs of enough calibre to be of 6th tier , pushing down state leagues to 8th tier just makes it sunday league . State leagues should be amateur with national league being the 'non-league' or semi professional So basically Isl I league I league 2 I league 3 ( east and west ) National league ( north , south east west ) State leagues

Bhai change toh bohot kuch hona hai yaar. Thode bohot fundamental changes ho gaye toh bhi bohot farak padega in the bigger picture Our biggest issue is that the people who are supposed to be responsible for bringing about these changes, aka AIFF stakeholders and state federation stakeholders, are not just incompetent, corrupt and greedy, but they are an absolutely lethal combination of all those 3 things.

Mmm nice plan better than vision 2047 which obviously is a scam 🙄

Disband the AIFF.

I propose a much simpler version (due to lack of clubs in India), taking inspiration from European leagues. Tier 1 : ISL (12 Teams) Tier 2 : I-League 1 (12 Teams) Tier 3 : I-League 2 (12 Teams) Tier 4 : I-League 3 (16 Teams) Tier 5 : I-League North, I-League South, I-League East, I-League West (16 Teams each) Tier 6: State Leagues 1) Every season 2 clubs from Tier 1,2,3 fill have to face relegation. The 12th Place one will have automatic relegation and be replaced by the champions of the lower tier league, the 11th place one will have to play a 2 leg knockout with 2nd place one of the lower tier league. This will add competitive and extra revenue as well as chance for the team to save itself 2) Tier 4 will have 4 automatic relegations, with teams getting replaced by their respective sub league champions from tier 5 (or more), ex let say Ludhiana FC and Muzaffarnagar FC (Hypothetical teams, probably don't exist) both are relegated from tier 4, they will be replaced by 1st and 2nd position teams of I-League North 3) Similar to English Football, we will have 3 Cup Tournaments. One will be expanded one where Tier 1,2,3,4 all will participate. This will enable lower tier teams to get exposure. Second will be conducted only between tier 1 and tier 2 to ensure competitiveness. Third between tier 3 and tier 4 teams for a level playing field. We can't have the complete English Football league system (it has 16 tiers I think and various cups) but we can't mold it to our requirements.
