My Merlin bird ID app says that, after playing it your sound clip, it's a call from a juvenile Barred Owl. Cool find. The adults have a call that sounds like they're saying "Who cooks for you?" if you ever get a chance to hear it.
Amazing! There's been a pair of barred owls hanging around in the area, I guess it's one of them, or a relative!
Or their babies. ❤️
Most likely, since they're pretty territorial from what I understand.
