Yeah it looks like basil to me.

Also looks like basil but pluck a leaf and crush part of it and smell it, and you’ll know whether you have basil or mint there.

Don't even need to pick a leaf, gently rubbing it works as well.

Another identifier for mint is the stem will be angular! Maybe not this young, but later.

doesn’t basil grow quite fast? the growth has been decently slow

Growth is probably dependent on soil and light conditions. But yeah basil does well when it’s happy

Prob basil if smooth.. poss mint if slightly hairy lol. I’m leaning towards basil.. break a leaf and smell
