yeeeeeeeUCK. I once delivered to someone who clearly had a partner in the house who kept grazing my hands as I passed him stuff while calling me “hun”. He was cute but some people are a waste of beauty and ass cheeks. Like…my dude. Get neutered or go buy a freaking sex toy. It’s 2024 and you have the money to do either.
Eh probably in case customer needs to ask if the driver like missed a bag or to clarify if they left it in the office when they wanted at the door or something idk
As a customer, I've had to message my shopper 5 minutes after they delivered because they had given me one of someone else's bag of groceries, instead of my own. Shopper never did respond in the 20 minutes before it closed, so we ended up having to run to the store to get the crucial dinner items for that night, and had a bunch of odd items we never use that we gave to neighbors 😂
It actually saved me once. I was fighting with my boyfriend now husband while pregnant and on a delivery. I was so mentally distraught that I delivered the wrong order to the wrong person at the first stop. She texted me and let me know, so I came back minutes later with everything and blamed pregnancy brain (I was visibly preggo). She was super nice and understanding about it and it saved me from misdelivering the next two stops!
It came in clutch for me yesterday when I dropped off an order at the wrong house for the first time ever. Almost had a panic attack when the customer said it didnt look like any house on their cul de sac. As it turned out they just had no idea what the house two doors down from them looked like up close.
It’s a shame how many different professions I’ve worked in and how that statement applies to every single one of them. Every woman I’ve ever worked with has had at least one story about a creepy experience, whether they were 17 or 82. Yes, I currently work with and 82 year old woman who still gets men making inappropriate comments and gestures.
Why. Can’t. We. Just. Exist.
Yup. At 15 I was getting creepy comments from older men. People always assumed I was older, but it still isn’t okay.
When I worked at a coffee chain, a guy gave me some change as a tip. He said here.. this is for your tit cup and gave me a funny smirk then laughed and said haha I meant your tip cup. Like that isn’t even a funny joke dude, get out of here.
I had literally just turned 15 years old.

This is soooooo unattractive same thing just happened to me w a low tipper ( he did increase it a little after I left ) and he would NoT stop messaging even after it was done and then a freakin review w his number on there smdh
Peace out Girl Scout?? 40-50 and using Snapchat? Yikes. You can report a previous safety incident in the upper right corner of the main screen, the white cross inside of the blue badge next to the question mark, it will allow you to block him and Instacart will contact you after about it.
I love when people continue after silence. It would be great if you messaged, oh that’s your Snapchat? I will get you on that. I wasn’t interested in the 5 others you offered but can’t resist when offered snapchats
I just started a new job and just did the harassment training. There was a line that made me laugh at how ridiculous it was but then I realized it’s sad that they actually need to say it. “Friendliness doesn’t mean sexual attraction”.
Send this to IC. Sending ways to get in touch with him directly is against the customer agreement. ALSO, you can be sure anyone this brazen and thirsty has done this before and will do it again!
Those are among some of the creepiest texts I have ever read, and dude is giving sex offender vibes fr 😬
I’ll never understand why guys think this and pestering the nice girl trapped behind a counter (similar to a bar or hotel environment) is on behavior.
It freaks me out
Being a creep won’t get you anywhere.
Do they realise how weird they come off as? Do they not care, and what gets them off is knowing that they scare the women they pull this on?
(This guy is tame in comparison to most tho )
I honestly didn’t know how while he was messaging me, i didn’t see an option. then I got another order after and called it a night. do you know if i’m able to go back and report still? Never had an issue like this so idk
Yes you can report him with support even after finishing the order since they can review the xhat for that order and regarding the blocking you can actually do it from your recent batch history and then selecting the order for you to mark it with a thumbs down (if you don't see it it's probably bc you already marked it with a thumbs up, in that case support must do it from you)
I hope you don't get these type of cringy customers again tbh, stay safe!
thank you! I would lowkey be scared if i had an order for him again. before he even sent the creepy texts i was thinking “i hope he doesn’t look at my license plate” cause my intuition was telling me he was weird from the start

I had this happen one day. He came outside and kept saying it was fate, and how lonely he was and how perfect his day was from meeting me. He then also tipped me an extra $50 after the delivery. The worst part was that I had to call him about an item while I was shopping and just automatically left my cell number. He then texted me two days later when he must have listened to it. I blocked him. He was significantly older than me, it was creepy. I’ve never left my number again, that was a lesson.
I’ve been shopping today and trying to find that option between orders but haven’t been able to. Only option I can find is ‘report incident’. Tried to click on an article in the help center about blocking a customer but the article doesn’t exist apparently 😐
I dont do IC anymore but I remember after I delivered, the guy sent me a message that said I was cute. I told my boyfriend before I could screenshot the message lmao

I am a Uber Eats driver and got this vibe once. Once I was the driver matched to him he messaged me a lot throughout the trip about making sure I got everything and knew where to drop it off. It was supposed to be a leave at door. But when I got there he was leaning on the door in his underwear. Last time I did a delivery after 10pm!
Jesus why are dudes like this. Old guys never seen to understand women who do their jobs for tips are going to be nice to you for the tips. They aren't being nice because you're attractive, they're being nice because you're paying them. And somehow that point always seems to slip by them.
What is wrong with men? You accidentally make eye contact with them and they think you’re flirting. Can’t we just go about our day and live our lives without someone hitting on us?
I’m an Instacart shopper and so is my aunt. A dude did this and she had me add him on snap. “Hey there big fella, I got something for you” man blocked me so fast 🤣, he didn’t like being hit on apparently
Oh that’s just terrifying now isn’t it! If you don’t get him blocked at least remember his address so you can remove it if you ever see it show up on a batch again!
Here’s my email just in case you have none of the above mentioned. Also, here’s my AIM user name. I know no one really uses it but ya, just in case lol. Also, you can hit me up on WhatsApp if you’d rather do that.
This is sad and hilarious at the same time
you think i should delete the post orrrr… doubt anything would come back to me considering he’s so willing to give out all his info to a stranger. the bad blur job was an honest mistake tho
its up to you, i just wanted to let you know for future reference, since there are effects that can be added to make that type of blurring easier to read. its best to go with a solid color when you want to hide a certain text
The worst is men hitting on you at your job and not even having the decency to tip well. I'm a server and when men hit on me and THEN didn't even have the fortitude to tip well. They would of never gotten my attention by being super cheap and creepy

One time I was driving for Uber and Lyft and I would get hit on by passengers all the time and I was married tbh it was wrong that I was doing that as a job it’s dangerous and frowned upon. He made more than enough to have supported me but I didn’t know. We weren’t good with communicating. He didn’t respect me. Now I’m divorced and only do Uber eats so people can judge me in silence instead of to my face. Less degrading. Still fighting for survival though. Grateful for the opportunity these apps created.
I don't know why it is now considered creepy on someone shoots their shot outside of dating apps. People work all day long and then go home to go to sleep to do it again I don't see an issue with shooting your shot at any time all the person can do is say no thank you and move on this young generation is crazy to me

If the man was smokin’ hot and younger it wouldn’t have been creepy though right? Can’t blame a guy for trying, perhaps you should just take the flattery, ignore it, and move on with your life instead of putting everything on blast. And women in today’s society wonder why most men won’t even speak to them unless forced to.

I never comment on posts, I just log in for amusement .. but this post is the exception and I have to defend the customer in this case. Thuisbezorgd is our main shop app in Netherlands and is great, no problems! But why does Instacart allow their shoppers to post customers' data online like this? Obviously Instacart does not know about it (and I am thinking this shopper should be reported). I am a law student and did a little research and at least for Wisconsin (didn't research New Jersey), posting a person's private data online (which this shopper has clearly done) can result in criminal Class A misdemeanor charge(s) and/or a civil lawsuit. References to criminal and civil actions are here:

So just a head's up here. Online 'doxxing' clearly carries criminal charges in many states. Whether what this customer did was appropriate or inappropriate, he did not break any laws nor was he rude. But it appears this Instacart shopper probably committed Class A misdemeanors by doxxing a customer's private info (also compounded by overall defamation by other Reddit users ignorantly commenting). It would not be a bad idea to take this post down before the customer finds it and goes to law enforcement to begin the investigative and then legal process. If the district attorney determines there was criminal activity, it would actually be 'The State of Wisconsin vs (Instacart shopper)’ and the plantiff (customer) in this case would remain anonymous, protected by law and the district attorney him/herself would be defending the plantiff. Criminal proceedings are a heavy thing. If I were Instacart I would fire this shopper no questions asked.
I see people showing a lot of these “creepers/hitting on me/asking for my number” posts lately. 90% of the time I see where drivers/shoppers are just letting the customer prattle on. I highly suggest a polite and straightforward response for these customers. “No thank you” or a “I’m not interested” and a reason (real
or fake) if you so chose. Not everyone shares the same opinion about commenting to delivery people about looks, etc and asking them out. Many people out there operate on the “ you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take” principle and in the swipe left swipe right world it’s easy to blur the lines into almost any online interaction.
So do young people say “shoot the shot” when it’s only people of same age? Maybe he saw an opportunity. Anywho you always gotta say “thank you, my hubby-partner think so too” let them know that it’s a NO
I’ve had a man call me sweetie and stuff like that. I assumed he saw my photo and thought I was cute.
I usually look REALLY BAD when doing deliveries lmao like I want people to think I’m homeless so they don’t talk to me bad. He tried to flirt with me at the door but I am VERY dry and just ignored it. I delivered and he increased my tip. That’s the least he could do for making me feel uncomfortable.
Idk why men think it’s ok to act like that. It’s weird and it’s a huge turnoff.
buddy sent every link
Buddy sent everything but the LinkedIn
But linkedin is the hottest one
He missed his shot, gotta dazzle ‘em with the professional headshots
my mans probably divorced and hasnt had sex in years
Lmao he’s desperate asf
Dating apps must be failing him so figured he'd try using ic for his love connection!!
🤣🤣😂 Youd think he’d have tipped better
🤣🤣
Right! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Throwing out his line, seeing what bites. Old men fishing 🎣
He was definitely thirsty

“Hun” and hand grazing is what you consider flirting?
You don’t? If I’m grabbing groceries from you and I start caressing your hands wouldn’t you feel as if I was flirting? 😂
Did he send his pager number and email address also ?
i think he forgot his fax number
And ICQ.
Wow, haven't thought about that in ages and I instantly remembered my number as soon as I read your comment.
What about him AIM?
And his myspace
Xanga
Chats are open for 20 mins after delivery
Why

It's to give you a window of time to sexually harass your shopper after seeing if they're hot
It actually saved me once. I was fighting with my boyfriend now husband while pregnant and on a delivery. 100%
Or do anything at all
Absolutely. It’s especially frustrating with job like this where we go to people’s homes, all alone.
💯!
I can't even go get a dang slushy at ampm without a man out front cat calling me and trying to get me to sit with him 🤮
What crappy areas you do people live in? That crap doesn’t go on in some places.
I live close to Seattle 💀

This is soooooo unattractive same thing just happened to me w a low tipper ( he did increase it a little after I left ) and he would NoT stop messaging even after it was done and then a freakin review w his number on there smdh
Peace out Girl Scout?? 40-50 and using Snapchat? Yikes. You can report a previous safety incident in the upper right corner of the main screen, the white cross inside of the blue badge next to the question mark, it will allow you to block him and Instacart will contact you after about it.
Yeah the waiting on me outside would’ve been it for me 😭😭 cause if he thought the shopping was fast delivery would knock his socks off 😂
I love when people continue after silence. It would be great if you messaged, oh that’s your Snapchat? I will get you on that. I wasn’t interested in the 5 others you offered but can’t resist when offered snapchats
Send him your cashapp back and say that’s the only social media you use
I just started a new job and just did the harassment training. There was a line that made me laugh at how ridiculous it was but then I realized it’s sad that they actually need to say it. “Friendliness doesn’t mean sexual attraction”.
Unprofessional
Peace out girl scout is cringe at any age.
Probably tipped the same amount as he last 4.56 seconds 🤣
Omg Mark get it together
Wow ur fast. And amazingly faster after dropping off the order. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|flushed)

Desperate AF
If only he sent his email address
Chat doesn’t end as soon as the delivery is finished. Customers and shoppers have some time to communicate afterwards.
It's 20 minutes, if anyone is keeping score.
Eewwwww no
What a creep.
Bro WHAT 😭

Yeah okay he was gross and all that but did you reported him with support? Or better yet, block him from your account for future orders.

All that’s ever happened to me was getting an extra $20 cuz I’m pretty lol chile he thirsty
Luckily afterwards I got an order for 1 item and they tipped $15 ($20 total) so at least I ended the day on a good note lol
RepoRT
Yeah that's harassment. Report it.
I would have messaged his ass "ok you are officially the creepiest person I've delivered to so far😘" *block*
I had this happen one day. He came outside and kept saying it was fate, and how lonely he was and how perfect his day was from meeting me. He then also tipped me an extra $50 after the delivery. Yeah, it should pop up right after the batch it try calling suppler and see if then can block him.
I dont do IC anymore but I remember after I delivered, the guy sent me a message that said I was cute. I told my boyfriend before I could screenshot the message lmao
i immediately screenshotted and sent it to my bf like “i knewwwww he was creepy look!!”

I’m so sorry 😞 this kinda stuff gets exhausting !
EW?? Not the peace out girl scout
I turn 33 this year and haven’t used Snapchat in like 7 years. Being 40s -50s and having Snapchat weirds me out
Only tipped 4.50 🤣🤣🤣
I am a Uber Eats driver and got this vibe once. Once I was the driver matched to him he messaged me a lot throughout the trip about making sure I got everything and knew where to drop it off. You better look up every one of those profiles and BLOCK them before he starts trying to find your accounts
Ewww did he include is beeper number? I guarantee you this guy still carries a beeper
Remember when beepers were only for doctors and drug dealers? Good times, I used to clip mine to my hat. Needless to say, I was not a doctor. 🙃
Gah damn, I’m surprised that foo didn’t give you his social 😂

he sent these as i drove off 😭
Oh that’s just terrifying now isn’t it! If you don’t get him blocked at least remember his address so you can remove it if you ever see it show up on a batch again!

Ugh. Similar thing happened and this man easily could have been my grandad. Unfortunately, IC doesn’t care. They think they’re being cute
everything you “blurred” out can be read still, just saying

He made more than enough to have supported me but I didn’t know. We weren’t good with communicating. He didn’t respect me. Now I’m divorced and only do Uber eats so people can judge me in silence instead of to my face. Less degrading. Still fighting for survival though. Grateful for the opportunity these apps created.
Half the guys out there are just weird as fuuuck
I don't know why it is now considered creepy on someone shoots their shot outside of dating apps. People work all day long and then go home to go to sleep to do it again I don't see an issue with shooting your shot at any time all the person can do is say no thank you and move on this young generation is crazy to me
Not peace out girl scout 😭😭😭😭

Send your Venmo back in response
he freaky freak
If the man was smokin’ hot and younger it wouldn’t have been creepy though right? Can’t blame a guy for trying, perhaps you should just take the flattery, ignore it, and move on with your life instead of putting everything on blast. And women in today’s society wonder why most men won’t even speak to them unless forced to.
Dude does not know how to give up
“Oh hi Mark”
Huh?

Gross. The audacity to do all that and then not even tip decently. FFS.
Spoken like a uneducated, young girl looking for attention!

References to criminal and civil actions are here: (1) CRIMES AGAINST REPUTATION, PRIVACY AND CIVIL LIBERTIES > DEFAMATION 942.01(1)-(2) [https://docs.legis.wisconsin.gov/statutes/statutes/942/01](https://docs.legis.wisconsin.gov/statutes/statutes/942/01) Violation can be criminally charged (Class A misdemeanor) (2) CRIMES AGAINST REPUTATION, PRIVACY AND CIVIL LIBERTIES > GIVING FALSE INFORMATION FOR PUBLICATION 942.03(1) [https://docs.legis.wisconsin.gov/statutes/statutes/942/03](https://docs.legis.wisconsin.gov/statutes/statutes/942/03) Violation can be criminally charged (Class A misdemeanor) (3) MISCELLANEOUS STATUTES > RIGHT OF PRIVACY 995.50(2) [https://docs.legis.wisconsin.gov/statutes/statutes/995/50](https://docs.legis.wisconsin.gov/statutes/statutes/995/50) Violation can result in civil lawsuit So just a head's up here.
“No thank you” or a “I’m not interested” and a reason (real or fake) if you so chose. Not everyone shares the same opinion about commenting to delivery people about looks, etc and asking them out. Many people out there operate on the “ you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take” principle and in the swipe left swipe right world it’s easy to blur the lines into almost any online interaction.
Hey, just an fyi, the phone number you blurred out can be seen really easily.
So do young people say “shoot the shot” when it’s only people of same age? Maybe he saw an opportunity. Anywho you always gotta say “thank you, my hubby-partner think so too” let them know that it’s a NO
Makes me wonder if he does it because it works enough of the time? hmmm...
Good god 😳
I’ve had a man call me sweetie and stuff like that. I assumed he saw my photo and thought I was cute. I usually look REALLY BAD when doing deliveries lmao like I want people to think I’m homeless so they don’t talk to me bad. He tried to flirt with me at the door but I am VERY dry and just ignored it. I delivered and he increased my tip. That’s the least he could do for making me feel uncomfortable. Idk why men think it’s ok to act like that. It’s weird and it’s a huge turnoff.

Dang.... he sent everything besides his ssn....
This generation is pussy as fuck 😂
Yeah that’s gross
Gross. I’ll never understand. 🙄
