Don’t shoot for diamond. Try your best to stay platinum as long as possible. Diamonds get throttled hard and maybe a unicorn is thrown at us once or twice or week to keep us happy.
I'd take it for sure. Shop it in 35 min cuz it's early. No lines. No people in the way. 25, 30 mins of driving.
I wonder what the bad order is that they smuggled in there
Ugh I got a $55 tip yesterday on 3 orders in area I was driving through. Didn’t know well. Order b was 7 items and added 50% of mileage. But order C was only 8 items.
My guess was correct, order B had $4 tip. I just couldn’t risk dropping the best tip. I’ve seen people tip 100% of grocery value before
Why not? It’s frustrating that a $42 tip doesn’t come out to a better hourly wage but I assume that I’ll shop
In 40-60 minutes and 10 min checkout, 20 min drive.
If it’s going the opposite direction of anywhere I want to be, I might not do it if it’s the end of the day
I’m not the guys that said mileage is too high but will say that for some of us in urban areas 17 miles can easily become an hour drive.
I would still take it but would be annoyed at the mileage
I personally like 10-15 mile orders because I’m in suburbs and it’s typically going to another town that has orders, and the base pay rewards mileage more than items
You think not wanting to put unnecessary miles on their car is lazy? You can go do that while I wait 30 more minutes and accept that $50 going 4 miles down the road. Y’all just comment anything these days lmao
You can call or use the chat option. I usually use chat. It’s quicker. ALSO if you are canceling part of a batch say it for safety reasons. That way your cancellation rate isn’t impacted.
I did this yesterday and my pay went down like 50% so I canceled that shit lol. I removed the one that was 6 miles out of the way and only have 5 items. I think IC is getting clever with it.
That isn’t what it would be where I live. 17 miles even when there isn’t traffic is generally 30-40 minutes of driving one way. Then have to drive back that’s 32 miles, a gallon and a half of gas. If there’s traffic it’s over an hour driving one way. So $8ish spent on gas. Also the wear and tear of those miles. Plus it’s 3 people, I am not a fan of triples. I can generally wait for something better to come along.
What's the heavy items? If the 17 miles is basically a circle that leads back to the store it isn't bad. But if you also need to drive 30 min back then idk.
If it were my local grocery store, yes. I really prefer to keep the drive under 5mi but if it’s a triple and I get closer to diamond, okay.

Said a diamond driver..never. Stop the 🧢
Mk
They can be mad but unfortunately you’re right. They try to push us out once we know what we’re doing
I'd take it for sure. Shop it in 35 min cuz it's early. No lines. No people in the way. 25, 30 mins of driving. I wonder what the bad order is that they smuggled in there
The first 6 items is going to a no tip area
Knew it. IC smuggling unacceptable orders with 2 other orders in a single batch. At least it's $60 +
I’ll let you what was the tip but it was a area I would not deliver to

Yes. That’s a nice boost to the day. My daily goal on Instacart is $100 a day with that batch I’d almost be 75% of the way there.
Hell yea I took it I’m 34 items in fast shopper
Nice!…
Like your attitude. It is a sanity saver & gratitude booster
At 7am? With nobody in the store and the roads clear? Yeah I’d say why not
Mostly all chips 😂😂
Even better!
Probably take a couple hours then you can head straight to Costco for their opening. (If theres a Costco in your area)
My first (and so far only) Costco batch had 5 cases of water. I'm scared to try again. 😭
Probably, a couple of weeks ago I took a 3-order batch that paid me $72.98
In a heartbeat
I did after hearing my friend next to me scream he got a $84 I’m gone
He got an 84 right after you accepted this or before?

Super easy shop 35 mins dropped off in a area where huge numbers will come out
Miles are too high for me.
What if it was going to a big city office order all chips and snacks
Miles are too high regardless.
It’s 2 gallons of gas tops 🤣😂😂🙏🙏
It’s not just the gas. It’s where I’m going to end up afterwards.
In a great area
If that works for you then great but anywhere that’s 18 miles away for me is a no go. I’ll be too far from where I need to be.
I’m not the guys that said mileage is too high but will say that for some of us in urban areas 17 miles can easily become an hour drive. I would still take it but would be annoyed at the mileage

It’s 1 gallon in my car going there and back. I put 4 gallons in my tank and that’s my limit on driving for the day.
Can't fix lazy lol. They'd rather sit and wait for an easy order vs. making this. I love the lazy and stupid shoppers, which helps get me good orders.
😎I been up ready to get some money since 5am 🐦

It’s not lazy or stupid, that’s a lot of miles to chance for a tip bait also.
That's decent.
No. That's a terrible batch in my area.
The mileage is what makes me hesitate. I’m in the DC area and 17 miles can easily end up being an hour drive depending where you are going.
Exactly.
All chips I swear to you 39 items of it was chips
I'm out at 17 miles much less and triple. Traffic is horrendous in my area.
Gotta learn them back blocks and side streets
In some metro there's just no way around and half hour for 3-5 miles.
I’d probably remove the person who I felt didn’t tip
Do you have to call Instacart Help to remove orders?

Any chance getting a load back? Or is there a garden center or some point of interest there?
Yes
I did I got $61.82
Yes . I’ve taken worse
Shidddd me 2 all the time I’m done bag made onto the next 1
If it was slow af and not traffic time, maybe. 17 miles where I am is at least 30 min driving one way, when there is no traffic.
It was only 25 mins

Not the greatest since it's a triple but yes, I would take it.
I would take it. With how crappy it’s been, I wouldn’t hesitate. Lol
It’s like two 30 bucks batches 9 miles away.
Hell yeah
YEP
What's the heavy items? If the 17 miles is basically a circle that leads back to the store it isn't bad. But if you also need to drive 30 min back then idk.
3 32 packs of Dasani water 39 bags of chips 😂😂 easy money
Hard no
Yea
No
Unfortunately yes
Definitely I feel like if it adds up to at least $10 per order it’s a good one
No
