Ugh. One of my dearest friends makes this face in every single photo. I love her to pieces so I just never say anything but it irrationally irritates the shit out of me. I love her face without that stupid expression but she doesn't, so here we are.
We've had the conversation, I'm not afraid of it. She knows how I feel about it.
I won't keep bringing up something that is small that makes her feel better about herself. Just cause I don't like it, she's not hurting anyone or permanently altering herself, so I let it go.
I’m going with annoying affectation. She clearly does it because she thinks it makes her look cute. I’m honestly less bothered by the editing than the face she makes. UwU “Look at me, I’m so cute and quirky!” Nah, you’re just annoying.
Yeah look at the arm in front of the mirror at the 0:04 mark and see how it turns into spaghetti. Also what's up with that annoying face she makes the entire video
You can also see that her pants change while she buttons them. Between 0:03 and 0:04 below her right arm, in the butt area, you can see part of the pants moving in and out of the filter (appearing and disappearing)
When she holds the pants up they are obviously designed to fit a normal plus sized person (which I know she is behind the filters) but when she puts them on they have a teeny tiny wast all of a sudden lol. God I hate social media
It should not look like that though, Ill admit I am fat, and my arms dont turn into the arm version of bowed legs.
The filter is warping her arm to bend into her body to achieve "skinny".
A lot of women influencers will often use filters, or nowadays AI editing, to either 'beautify' their face, or slim down their waist. This woman has a column or spot near where her waist is that distorts the image and pulls the side of her body closer to the center of her mass, giving a slimming appearance. The pose is to contort to where those spots are, while also hiding her upper arms by pointing them at the camera and slightly down (because, well my father was a farmer and he once taught me, 'sweet rolls can grow anywhere and are good for dry storage for years to come... You just got to know where to hide them').
I have one more before I'm back out to the fields to harvest. 'If you give a man a sweet roll he eats for a day, you teach him the ways of the sweet roll, he opens a bakery in Akron, Ohio.'

There’s no way those pants could taper in to a waist that small ; they’d leave a gap. See the pants when she holds them up vs when they’re on her body.
I don’t follow these types of IG personalities, but do they curate their comments? I would imagine more than a few commented on her hip being a box shape at the very beginning?

Well, Your legs probably aren’t as big as the girl in the videos’ are when unedited. And even if they are you probably do have *some* cellulite. 80/90% women in the world have it at various levels. It’s perfectly normal but it’s especially impossible to avoid at higher body weights.

I've seen a few of her videos and never known her to use filters like this before. Could the account that reuploaded this have filtered her? I guess it's an advert- something to do with Pinterest? She is one of the few plus sized outfit inspiration accounts I like, and I really hope she's not resorting to filtering all her videos now.

Another commenter pointed out that her pants are shaped different when she puts them on. When she holds them up, they're just tapered. When she puts them on, they magically snatch her waist to the gods. She has no waist, she has relatively small calves and a big boxy body.
Im sure that real body is beautiful, its just not whats in fashion right now, hence why she feels she needs the filters to be an influencer.
I mean, based on this video, being shaped similarly, the waist is there but her shirt is oversized and breasts kinda low.
