You reminded me of how I used to be haha. I used to be super paranoid after leaving my trays out for so long. Usually if I leave my tray out for about 12 hours, I would wear it for maybe like three extra days. I always did this during my treatment whenever the tray had to stay out for as long as 12 hrs (this happens once every three months maybe?) and the orthodontist said that I'm a star patient because of how well my teeth moved. I think when you go home to put on your trays, they are probably super tight, but it's okay and don't panic. Just wear them for as long as they are no longer tight and when you feel comfortable switching. It does prolong your treatment time, but in my opinion, it is better than your trays failing to track.
I got home earlier than planned as my friend cancelled our date, she was exhausted, so after 11 hours I've put my trays back in and they were so tight!!! It hurt badly for an hour or so, I fell asleep on the side of the bed, the heat knocked me down. Now the trays are much better. Tnx for replying ๐งก
I didn't have my invisalign in for 6 days because of an issue with a molar. After the 6th day I was curious if they still fit and they did, but I'm pretty sure they were a little tighter than I was used to.
You'll be fine. Literally just wear the current tray an extra day and do your change after that.
I second that
Tnx, will do
I was only doing nighttime wear while waiting on refinements, they were tight but fine. Just wear them an extra day
Thank you, will do!
Everything will be okay! My ortho told me I could have mine out all day at my wedding, just wear them for an extra day!
Thank youu

My observation is that the current tray isn't doing much by the time you're changing it. No big deal, just go to the next tray.
I will change it tomorrow morning ๐
