If we are talking about good places outside of Jerusalem that have connections to islam than i will recommend going to akka and ramle that are both cities with rich Muslim history and culture. You can also go to horn of hatting near sea of Galilee that is the place where Saladin one one of his most important battle. But of course there is a lot of other stuff that don't necessarily connected to islam that are still worth going to, like the dead sea Tel Aviv and Eilat on the red sea

If you look for history you got the Acre, Jaffa and Nazareth

Alon_F

Also haifa

Akko (for Masjid AlJazar would be the obvious one). Other than that, all the regular tourist stuff throughout the country.

themommyship

Are these Muslims into shopping? Food? Hiking?

IKKQ_407

History (mostly Ottoman), and shopping(flea markets for example).

DrVeigonX

Best city for both is Acre, it's a city with a very rich history and a large muslim population

puccagirlblue

I'd add Jaffa, Haifa and Ramle that are all great for these purposes. (But also all mixed cities. Nazareth is majority Muslim if that is what they are looking for, with 30% Arab Christians but most religious sites are Christian)

themommyship

Lod, Nazareth, Acco, Jaffa..all have very interesting islamic sites..

lambchopdestroyer

I second Lod and Akko

Yafo

Here's a long list: https://www.beinharimtours.com/muslim-sites-in-israel/

Thin-Leek5402

Old Jaffa is a very pretty mixed faith neighborhood, good bit of Muslim & Arab history to see (plus it’s only like 30 minutes from downtown TLV by transit)

YGBullettsky

Yafo, Ako, Ramle, Lod, Natzrat and Haifa are all good places with Muslim history. As far as Ottomans are concerned, Yerushalayim is good because of many buildings built by the Ottomans, but outside of that the Old City of Yafo and Ako are probably the best for Ottoman history.

Tel Aviv

enviro-marinebio-mom

Tel Aviv is fun but an OG Jewish town, not per se about Muslim history except for Jaffa. Right?

capsrock02

Did they say for Muslim history or just good places to visit? Because Tel Aviv is a great place to visit.

SecretSituation9946

Jaffa and Acre are beautiful and such interesting cities to explore. I loved my time in both cities immensely.
