The Citizen has my vote.
It may nog be as versatile as the Seiko, but it has a unique badass, built-for-purpose look that Citizen does so well. I have the [BN0225-04L 'Whale Shark'](https://www.reddit.com/r/CitizenWatches/comments/13737xs/citizen_promaster_dive_bn022504l/), and love it to bits. All colourways are amazingly light (titanium), and wear surprisingly well on even smaller wrist sizes dur to being lug-less.
Highly recommended, but it takes some bravery to wear it in more formal surroundings. Bonus, you can't beat the ease of use (and accuracy) of an Eco Drive.
We are talking about 2 completely different watches , I love the samurai and I would never use the citizen but it depends what you do for living and your extra work activities
I have one of the varieties of that citizen, it's one of the coolest watches I've ever had.
It's also super accurate, I swear it keeps time with my mb6 g shock.
You're comparing a quartz to a mechanical, so it's hard to get a sense of what you're looking for in a watch. But I'd go with the Seiko if design is the sole criterion. That Citizen looks loud.
The Retrozilla reminds me of the Ecozilla. Solid. Bold. Extremely impressive but also hard to wear and not for the popular.
Between the two, I will prefer the Seiko for its adaptability and flexibility. Anyway, if I still want to stick with a Citizen, the Promaster Fujitsubo Super Titanium would be my choice.
Personally, will go with retrozilla for its 'funky' design. I like the Samurai but somehow I am more biased towards Citizen watches nowadays especially when you compare solar watches.
Citizen makes a great watch, but that one is just FUGLY, IMO. Seiko. Someone mentioned the Orient Kamasu. Not ISO. My Kamasu is my most-worn watch, and it keeps EXCELLENT time. As good as my Rolex.
Seiko

I love my save the ocean dark manta ray samurai, samurai for sure!
I own that Samurai color way and I thoroughly enjoy it. The Citizen doesn't speak to me.

Samurai if you have the wrist size for it. Don't look back.

I’ve had an Aqualand since 1989. It’s unmistakable.

Orient Kamasu?
