You want a Jeep, you've had Jeeps previously - and you still want a Jeep. Simple. Get a Jeep.

unk214

I’m confused what’s the issue here. Get the jeep and post topless pics. Also you should take the top of your jeep.

stuck-n_a-box

NO_SPACE_B4_COMMA

If you go on any subreddit and post that you have a Jeep, you'll get down voted and told that "Chrysler bad" by people who have never touched a Jeep in their life.  I literally do all those things you listed and I have a 2021 jlur.  Get your Jeep and ignore the haters. We know they aren't perfect but they are fun and if it brings you happiness, do it.

[deleted]

I traded in my Jeep in 2021 and I’ve continued to lurk on this subreddit just due to the amount of good fucking people here. I traded for a 4Runner to have some extra airbags for the babies, but fuck, their subreddit is so toxic. I defend Wranglers over there all the time because they just assume “Jeep = unreliable trash”. I have to jump on this sub from time to time just to regain my faith in the off-road community.

mal_67

I love 4runners and tacos just as much as I love my WJ. I think Jeeps and Yotes are cool in their own ways and both are off-road capable. I've never understood the fanboyism and the purity testing that folks get into when it comes to off-roaders. It's a little cringe tbh.

NO_SPACE_B4_COMMA

This is me. Everyone does it, look at the game console wars.  I wfh, tow a boat, travel trailer, and my Jeep is perfect for that. And it can drive off-road whenever I want.  I don't understand why people are so angry at other people's decisions.  And I'll be honest, I see more wranglers on the road than any other brand lol

jgrant68

I don’t bother trying to defend it. I came from a 4Runner, which I loved, but I prefer Jeep ownership. It’s not logical because any stretch of the imagination.

GiuliaAquaTofanaToo

What I have found is that Jeeps are easier to mod than my FJ. Both rock.

paul99501

Why do you prefer a Jeep over a 4Runner? Not judging, just curious.

jgrant68

Great question that I don’t have a logical answer for. I like that the Jeep is a convertible. I like that my Jeep (a sport model) is really basic. I’m not scared to scratch it up. It’s just a bunch of silly stuff really.

DiggerJKU

The Jeep vs Toyota thing is for the most basic brain dead individuals. I’ve owned both and I love tf out of both brands. I just bought a JLU after my jku died and my wife is about to buy a ‘23 4Runner. I don’t understand the hate from each side at all. Just enjoy each other cause both brands create the best outdoor vehicles in history and I obsess over both all the time when I’m on the trail.

lurker-1969

I'm 69 and this is so Ford vs Chevrolet from the muscle car days. I've owned both, drive a 2020GC now and would buy either a 4runner, taco or Jeep any time. My wife has a Toyota Sienna van and that thing rocks. Not as much as my GC though !! The GC has a class 4 tow package and I haul the ranch utility trailer all the time leaving the Ram Cummins 3500 parked. It is an amazing workhorse for us.

GiuliaAquaTofanaToo

It's so weird, right? I like both. I just mentioned earlier I have a Toyota and a Jeep. I love them both for different reasons. I would get a new Bronco, too, of I could afford it.

TheRamblinRodriguez

I’d respond to those Toyota fanboys with “so how about those Toyota engines that grenade themselves, seems like excellent reliability to me” but in all seriousness as a Jeep TJ/JL owner I often don’t recommend jeeps to people looking for them because often they are going into it for aesthetic purposes and not for the purpose of off-roading often. Side note I love the capability of the Toyota line up and encourage competition as it makes Stellantis actually care about a product they are producing

[deleted]

I still go on there to give helpful advise where I can. I know a heck of a lot about 4Runners, hell I’m in the maybe 1% that has 35s on a 5th gen and did all the work myself, but the fucking gatekeeping in that sub is down right disgusting.

ny_fox12

Bronco owner that lurks on here! Love jeeps too I’d like to eventually get a beater jeep cause my bronco is a pavement princess and I’m jealous of my coworker who has a 2000s jeep with ALL the paint scratched off.

Jagrnght

I have a honda africa twin that needed 8500 worth of warranty repair and had a gx470 that was constantly in need of repair. I'm tired of buying the reliable brands so I bought a 4xe and I love it.

bigj8705

Is your 4Runner more comfortable ride wise then the last one I was in. Looked to be the basic model of a 2020 4Runner but coming from an ascent I was not expecting the rougher ride style, but maybe that was due to the trim level. Not that there’s anything wrong with it just felt the bumps on the highway and didn’t expect it.

[deleted]

My 4Runner definitely rides better than stock just due to the King suspension. Stock vs stock I prefer the 4Runner over a Wrangler, but modded vs modded I prefer the Wrangler all day long.

baudtothebone

I own 3 Jeeps. Chrysler bad. Fact.

AmateurEarthling

I have a ‘98 XJ. 240K miles, everything original besides engine because a PO added radiator sealer that another PO just couldn’t get out of the block. Runs and drives flawlessly. First engine made it to 230K and wasn’t even dead when it was taken out. My father had a JK that left him stranded in the middle of the desert. Went and bought a new vehicle after getting picked up by a friend. Wasn’t even at 100K miles yet and all maintenance was done on time. Chrysler bad.

samiam0295

I promise your XJ is gonna leave you on the side of the road for a CPS, you just haven't owned it long enough yet. My TJ is "reliable" in the sense that the 4L and transmission won't eat themselves alive, not "ignore any and all maintenance issues" reliable like an old Camry. Also, turn of the century Chryslers are known for attempting to set themselves on fire via numerous electrical issues. Check the harness for your blower motor. My jeep has 100k on it and I have done loads of maintenance for failed shit in the last 30k miles. CPS, oil sender, reverse light switch, clutch safety switch, fan clutch(es), water pump, PS pump etc. Old Chrysler bad, new Chrysler worse.

NO_SPACE_B4_COMMA

See, I've had the opposite experience. My TJ was great. My first JK, 2007, great - leaky top, but that was a known issue. The 2010 I had was the best one - flawless. My 2015? Holy crap. Problem after problem - master cylinder leaked, radiator, engine cam lobes (or whatever they are called) ate themselves 2x, radio died 2x until I bought a third party, sway bar disconnect cable got water in it and rotted out all the connectors, etc. But out of my vehicles, my 2015 was the only one to be hit with back-to-back issues. I ended up trading it in for 20k when I got my 2021, and it had 130-140k miles. My '21 was custom ordered, but it's been great. I have the recall on the clutch, but haven't had time to get it done. The rear axle locker has the issue (which is known) but it was fixed under warranty. Aside from that, it has been great. I think the issues we are seeing is from Chrysler being sold and poor leadership, which is evident if you look at the years people have the most problems. But just clarify, I'm not saying Chrysler is good. I'm just saying 99% of the internet + randoms out in the world are claiming things or making up reasons to hate Jeeps... just because. But if you make a decision to buy a Jeep, you should do research and decide if it's a good choice for you. For me, I work from home, pull a boat/camper/utility trailer, I drive on the beach, and for me my '21 is perfect. I just hit 41k miles this week. I would never post on, say, mechanicaladvice, because I'll just get yelled at for owning a jeep. When there are vehicles out there that are far less reliable than any Jeep on the road. Heck, I've seen posts where people pretended to own a Jeep and made up a bunch of lies just to trash talk them. That's a Reddit thing though, redditors are weird.

Common_Highlight9448

Had 3 cherokees , 2- 98s and a 2000 the second 98 started trans problems at 317,000. Others had over 200,000 . Got a 18 grand Cherokee, like it a lot hope it lasts!

RacerJim

I just drove my 05 LJ automatic with 148k about 1,000 miles from CA to ID, didn't throw a code, and ran perfectly. Everything works... oh wait, I did break the sunvisor.... so unreliable. If you know how to maintain a vehicle, it will treat you right.

NO_SPACE_B4_COMMA

I know right lol

lurker-1969

Had 5, currently own 3. We have had amazing good fortune with our 2 97 Cherokees, 2005 and 2020 Grand Cherokees and 2013 Wrangler Limited. Now the 2007 Ram Cummins I bought new HAD the emissions system from hell. BAD Chrysler !

Florida2000

New reports out say Stellantis NV is going to dump the variety of Jeep Brands and Dump some trim levels to focus on quality. Not sure how that will impact your decision just heard it today thought id share.

NO_SPACE_B4_COMMA

Oh wow that is great news! My last Jeep - 2015 - was problem after problem. The 2007 and 2010 I had were basically flawless.  My 21 is doing good, I had the dreaded issue with the locker warning which was fixed. And the clutch recall but aside from that, it's been great. I towed a 3400lb travel trailer 6000 miles round trip, through a tropical storm, and had no issues at all.  I think they've improved, and I'm really digging the 2021. But better quality overall would be welcome!

Express_Way_3794

Hrm. I'm coming from a 2010 and looking at a lower-mileage 2010 or a higher mileage 2015..

NO_SPACE_B4_COMMA

Well... The 2015 has the pentastar click. look up "2015 pentastar v6 cylinder head problems", it's a common issue. Most common in 2015 models.

Same_You_2946

Stellantis needs to drop everything in the Jeep brand besides the Wrangler and Gladiator as halo models and the Cherokee as their "you can Jeep too" model. The others are drains on engineering and brand support IMO.

OldStyleThor

And get rid of the Grand Cherokee? Death sentence.

Gonkulator

They have to keep the GC, it's become a staple. The other models can go though.

lurker-1969

Good point. Proud owner of 5 in our family. No big complaints. The 96 Cherokees with the 4,0 engine are still rolling while in their mid 200's with no engine work miles wise.

OldStyleThor

Aka, "We're raising prices!"

[deleted]

They’re trying to be range rover. It’s absurd… well both are absurd. Total pieces of shit

MysteriousStaff3388

That’s true, but as a Gen X woman with a Wrangler, I find I get unearned respect from all the young arborists and boys that load wood at the lumber yard. That more than makes up for haters online.

Express_Way_3794

Millennial here. Boys either love a jeep girl or are weirded out by a girl that can do tough stuff.

MysteriousStaff3388

Either is fine. I used to be pretty, lol.

stuck-n_a-box

If you go to a Jeep site, you're only going to here that jeeps are the best vehicle ever made... Basis both directions...

Jumajuce

This happened to me yesterday when I responded to someone who said they liked driving their blazer because I f the cheap replacement parts and I was saying I liked my wrangler for the same reason. He go upvoted I got downvoted, people are really weird.

Purithian

Fucking facts get that jeep fam! I daily a 1985 scirocco let the haters hate and enjoy your whip

That_90s_Kid_

Cool. Now go to a jeep subreddit and talk about angry Eyes grills and apply the same feedback you hive this guy. The jeep community can't handle it.

ScienceOfficer-Jack

I owned a 91 wrangler inline 6 for 11 years. Decent, not great, vehicle. I will never own another Jeep because I don't want to be lumped in with the modern Jeep owners.

mannersmakethdaman

Love the Jeep. Hate the dealership. Dealership is charging me 3% to use a CC. On top of that - a $250 diagnostic fee for EACH thing I wanted looked at. And - when they rotated my tires - they didnt put the spare in play they said b/c I didn’t ask for it 🤬 - they said most people don’t. My previous dealership. Never an issue and I have the lifetime easy care warranty. This dealership - feel like they are seriously nickeling and diming. I’m an idiot - since I was charged $250 to be told my cigarette lighter in dash only works when key is in ignition and turned on. I didn’t know and tried to hook up trickle charger and it would not work. Checked fuse and thought - hey, getting oil change so have them take a look at it. 😡 Porsche, McLaren and Aston - none of this crap.

NO_SPACE_B4_COMMA

Yeah I recently moved and my dealer ordered parts for a recall and said they'd call me when they were in. Never called me. That was January. They also have my father as the owner and said they can't change it to me even though he has nothing to do with my vehicle. Ever.

strangeweather415

Most people just aren't "car people" and don't understand that the tradeoffs and downsides of the ride quality and lack of interior comforts come with insane benefits that no other vehicle on the market can really rival. The only other vehicles that can compete and have improved comforts and features are several orders of magnitude more expensive, like the G63 4xSquared.

DeFiClark

or not available in the US like the Suzuki Jimny or Mahindra or Lada Niva …

strangeweather415

Yep, there is that too. The jeep checks a ton of boxes that are just hard to find or buy and actually drive on road in the US. As much as people hate on them or get butthurt about the "mall crawler" popularity of Wranglers, the fact of the matter is that the unique market niche it fills *and* its ubiquity have cemented it as a pretty solid choice if you want a 4x4. I can't imagine trying to maintain a Grenadier, Defender or G63 while subjecting it to the borderline stupidity/abuse I throw at my Jeeps.

Bopethestoryteller

That's my thing with the Bronco. I can get a jeep for 1/2 the price.

strangeweather415

Even comparing a brand new JL to a Bronco the Bronco is way more expensive out the door. Especially when you start talking trims equivalent to the Rubicon. I was comparing them before I bought my JLUR and between the extremely sketchy platform support in the future and the price it was a no brainer in the Wranglers favor.

Tasty_Olive_3288

Rubicon compared model would be the Bronco Badlands and it starts at 51k. RubiconX starts at $61k. Both have lockers and auto disconnect sway bars

lurker-1969

Yea but one's not a JEEP !

stuck-n_a-box

I have to disagree on the price. I was at a car show and the Wrangler and broncos were separated by Kia. Pretty fancy bronco was 10k less than the cheapest Rubicon. Very comparable. The broncos have a lot of cool things, like storage for doors, pre-installed switches for winches, lights, etc... As far as building the most capable machine, I give the edge to the Wrangler, just because of the number of aftermarket manufacturers. But the bronco will get there.

Patrickmonster

It's kinda like when you're thinking about getting a dog. Say you got your mind set on a Basset Hound and have always wanted one. There's always gonna be that asshole that tells you "what you really want is a Labrador" or "you'd be better off getting a Corgi" but when it comes down to it the only person who's opinion matters here is you. Just go with your gut

VicePope

and get the basset hound too. i miss mine damn it

lurker-1969

HA ! I've got a Lab and 2 Corgis. And a 5 Jeep family with a Toyota Sienna van that is kick butt.

Patrickmonster

I'd never down on a van. I wouldn't look twice at a sports car, but an old Econoline will definitely turn my head. Also I'm guessing you and or your significant other picked them dogs. I'm really not making fun of the breeds, I literally just named 3 random Breeds. Hell I grew up around Dachshunds and I currently have a Pit Bull/ Char pei. My point is to do what makes you happy and forget about what others say

lurker-1969

Econoline from back in the "Van Days" in the 70's when I was cruisin'

S7Ninc

Just get another TJ

msurbrow

Cars are mostly a depreciating asset and they all suck in one way or another so just get what you like because we will all be dead soon enough anyway

aarjordan

Working at a dealership I see all brands and they all have problems, it's all about how you take care of it. That being said, some jeeps have more issues than others and I would stay away from the hybrids if you're looking just wranglers, too many electrical issues. We haven't had many issues with 2.0 turbo but the 3.6 is proven and doesn't have a turbo to go bad if you plan on keeping it 100k+ miles. I'm partial to jk's but i can't really say the JL is worse I just can't used to how differently the 8 speed shifts than the 5 speed. If you're a manual guy the new clutch doesn't have that big truck feel anymore, I'm not used to it but once you are it's probably a better driving experience than the jk's

ScottJeepFan

Haters gonna hate hate hate hate hate~Taylor Swift

Hot_Cattle5399

They just don't understand. Enjoy your next Jeep. Post it so we can see.

i_was_axiom

I hated my JK and basically can't take the new ones seriously. Loved mt TJ. I can't get behind paying a mortgage for something I expect to beat like a lame horse. I'll go get an old YJ/TJ or ideally an LJ as a toy someday.

jhires

Proper response: "It's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand." A CRV?!?! Really?!?! I just don't even know how to respond to that. Other than they've never wanted or needed to go anywhere other than the grocery store or mall. For the record, I have a JKR, a JKUR, a JTR, and a WK2. They take me, my wife, my children, and grandchildren everywhere. Skiing, hiking, kayaking, camping, road trips, and occasional automotive competition (See alcan5000.com). So if future family is what they are concerned about, then they are missing the vital part of taking the family on real adventure. Not to mention it's just cool.

JollyGreenGigantor

Honestly I've seen as many CRVs near tree line as anything else. They're more capable than most would think. We don't all need sway bar discos, 35s, and leaky roofs to get way above cell towers.

AaronKClark

Jeep ownership is a cult. If you are in it you don't care what other people think.

1HateReddit11

I just bought a car myself and caved to my family saying "get something practical, be an adult." Now I regret it. Get what you want, forget everyone else.

enlitenme

And see that's what I did last time I caved. And now I'm driving my dad's car (jeep was wrecked) and honestly really struggling to keep it clean and pristine.

jamest1234

Buy a Jeep. You won't enjoy anything else.

jaydubya123

People who aren’t Jeep people hear terrible things about Jeeps and think nobody should own one. Those of us like yourself who are Jeep people know what we’re getting into. I just could not drive a run of the mill small SUV on a daily basis. It would hurt my soul

DJMathom

There has been a very concerted online anti-FCA/Stellantis propaganda campaign going on in the U.S. domestic market for about 5 years now. This is made worse by the Toyota cultists who are convinced that modern Toyotas are still every bit as reliable as Toyotas from the 90's and early 2000's.

DiggerJKU

I just bought a new to me jlu and while I’m in the office a guy says “hey you buying that jeep? That’s cool, but they have engine issues”. Well there are 4 engines in the JLU so which one exactly has issues? Also I’m coming from a jku that I put 280k miles on with an engine that according to a lot of people “sucked” and “breaks down a lot”. People just like to spout off. I’m not blind to Jeeps issues and I know damn well things are going to come up but don’t say shit just to say shit

HematiteStateChamp75

You sound like my kind of people. I hate how everything just has to be techy, give me a car that only needs 8 wires, and a carburetor, with modern manufacturing. I'll be a pig in shit.

divedivedive86

Yeah. Same. But the government will never allow that ever again.

Dinglebutterball

Buy a badass TJ and don’t look back.

Main_Tension_9305

What is “cottaging”?

strangeweather415

Staying in cabins and such, like a mountain cottage that is usually mostly off grid

Imsophunnyithurts

I also learned recently that cottage-core is a thing.

Gelato_88

Just be happy man and do what makes you happy. Other peoples opinion aren't your true feelings. So do what makes you comfortably happy.

majorgerth

I recently made the tradeoff of selling my newer car to buy a LJ and not have a car payment. I got one that I could pay cash for so it has some issues, but I'm slowly running down and fixing the problems. Suspension was worn out. Steering was worn out. O2 sensors, plugs, and coils were worn out. The headlights couldn't outshine a candle when I got it. I still need to replace the motor mounts, run down an evap leak, run down a vacuum leak, and possibly replace the cat. My wife thinks I'm crazy to drive an old car with so many problems. I think it's awesome. I can do it all myself, and taking the top and doors off is a lot of fun. Get a TJ/LJ.

poop-money

Srcew'em. You've had Jeeps. You know what you're getting into. The only person in that equation I would give 2 thoughts about is your partner because in an emergency situation, they may need to drive it, which could be an issue if they don't know how to drive stick and your Jeep is stick (Especially if it is an older "quirky" transmission).

BlksnshN80

I own a shop and build up Jeeps for a living. Like most vehicles, if they are taken care of, maintenance done, and not beat on, they are a perfectly good vehicle. Most of the issues we see are from abuse and/or neglect.

davergaver

The new turbos are trash

10before15

I feel Jeep is really struggling right now with reliability, even more so in the last few years. If you do decide to get another Jeep, I would make sure to get the warranty that will cover your loan terms, plus 1 year.

Solo-Hobo

I do think MOPAR deserves some of the hate they get but it’s definitely over exaggerated and parroted by people. With any vehicle know what your buying, Jeeps line up has issues, so do most the other brands. MOPAR vehicles have been my most interesting and fun to drive, I’ve been fortunate that I’ve had few issues definitely more than my Toyota or Honda but nothing major that would make me regret my purchase. The thing I gather from the Jeep and Ram forums is that when something goes wrong it seems to do so in a big way and seen many end with lemon law claims and buy backs. I’m still confident this is a minority of buyers, MOPAR is just the Nickel back of the US auto industry and gets more blind hate than it deserves. I know if I’m going big three I could go GM or MOPAR and be more than happy even with the issues in the products they make that I’m interested in. Do your research and buy the vehicle that meets your needs budget and likes and ignore fan boy haters.

run919

My parents talked me out of buying a Jeep when I turned 18 because they were loud and uncomfortable. So I continued to drive a hand-me down Civic before buying a convertible after college. The convertible was fun, but not great for camping, hauling, and other rugged stuff. The convertible was replaced with a truck. The truck was super functional – there wasn’t any activity the truck couldn’t handle, but it was missing something. After having 3 vehicles in a span of ~8 years, I bought my Jeep LJ and it’s been going strong for 18 years. Entering my 40’s, the Jeep did get a little loud and uncomfortable, but it had been paid off for a while. So now I have a daily driver, but me (and now my kids) still love that Jeep. TLDR: buy the Jeep. If you don’t love it, sell it. Or maybe it will last you 18+ years, like mine.

TrollCannon377

Because most car subreddits are basically just "hurt due anything that isn't a Toyota will fall apart before 100k miles hur due"

OldStyleThor

F' 'em.

jmcgonig

Most people shouldn't get a Jeep. You seem like a prime candidate for one... you can afford it, you don't commute long distances and you like to get out a little.

blu_kat_dude

If you can swing it, Buy a practical commuter and find an old TJ with a straight six. Anything you will ever need can be found after market. Have fun with it

enlitenme

I'm remote, don't need a commuter.

KRLovely1

I've always wanted a jeep because I wanted the doors and top off. I'm more of a tomboy and the weather doesn't bother me. I like being outside and all that. I had coworkers that are a more boujee, have kids and are more about luxury than ability. I have never regretted my jeep. I bought a brand new 2018 and loved it. I did have a heater hose issue and something else motor wise I can't remember. It was in the shop twice in 4 years, but I seriously loved it. When it got totalled in a tornado last year, I looked at Broncos and even 4runners. But I just couldn't get over my jeep. So I bought another one! My husband even has one lol. I've had lots of people try to talk me out of it, but my husband has always told me to get what I want (even though he really wanted me to get a jeep because he likes them too lol) but I know myself better than anyone. If you really want one definitely go for it. If you get it ans hate it, they hold their resale value to well you won't have an issue selling it! Hope this helps!

ClunkiestSquid

I’ve had 4 Jeeps. 3 wranglers and now a 16 Cherokee Trailhawkfor more of a commuter/family car we can still have fun in. I loved all of the pre-2010 wranglers I had. Minimal electronics, easy fixes when things broke. The newer Jeeps are just so poorly wired and have too many low quality electronics to be reliable. My Jeep has been in a local shop and the dealership for 8+ weeks now with an electrical/communication issue. I’ve spent $4k+ and picked it up/towed it back 4 separate times with the same issue. First shop gave up after 5 weeks. Not it’s been at the dealership for 3. Older Jeeps are great. Newer Jeeps are a ticking electrical issue time-bomb. My 2016 has 67k miles on it and I’ve had to replace the oil cooler 2x, radiator 1x, and now the electrical issues made them replace the throttle body and PCM. Not even sure if it will fix it. It’s a literal nightmare.

Vondobble

Yeah jeep has been pretty poorly reviewed when it comes to reliability for some time now. Trailrecon interviewed a jeep tech on his channel and he asked him “what’s more reliable, the jk with 100k miles or a new JL?” or something to that effect. The tech said the JK. The new ones have too many electrical issues.

Background-Bed-4613

I wouldn’t listen to what people are saying when it comes to cars. I’m convinced the majority of people don’t know anything about vehicles. They just parrot whatever they hear. The trend right now is to buy a car that’s a fake suv, that has an iPad in the center dashboard, and batteries under it that will be in a landfill in 7 years. These people don’t care about reliability they just want to be apart of the trend.

CrippledAnatomy

Probably because wranglers, particularly older ones are the world’s best dailies. I daily a yj so I’m good with it but they usually aren’t super comfortable for long periods, loud, older ones arent super great on the freeway, the top vs no top and doors is also an issue. No doors or top means you have to monitor weather to make sure it’s covered or have another way to drive if it’s raining, also means you can’t leave anything in it without it getting stolen. If you just leave the top on all the time then you just bought an SUV’s without the luxuries. You say you haul garden supplies but unless you take the seat out a 2 door isn’t gonna have the space for much without loading the seats and back up. Not a problem but it limits the size of things you can haul. And they will require work. Which for your sole daily driver can be bad if something needs to be fixed again and now you don’t have a vehicle I like them, again I daily a 1990 yj so I’m about it and have no complaints. Hell I frequently drive it no top in the rain. With that said. I do still have another vehicle if weather is super bad or I need some security to walk into a store and leave item in the car etc. i consider it along the same line of owning a motorcycle. Tons of people daily them and love it with no issue or impact to their day to day. Others can’t. Ultimately I think it’s your money and you should buy what you wanna buy but I think a lot of these are probably the issues people are thinking of when they think it’s a bad idea for a wrangler. Maybe think about a Cherokee. Still a Jeep, very capable, lots of space but is still more a traditional vehicle

porkbuttstuff

Fiat Chrysler products kinda suck and have a ton of issues. I just don't care. IFYKYK

RockwellB1

I've owned 8 Jeeps over the years including my current WJ. I'll never buy anything else. When this WJ finally gets too rusty, I've already decided I'm going to find a rust free one to replace it. I'm not really a Wrangler person, but I definitely would take one over most other vehicles out there today. Car reviews rag on Jeeps because they aren't the creature comfort mall crawler crossovers everyone seems to want. Jeeps should be ranked on their own since there really isn't anything else out there like them. Let's see you remove the top from that CRV...

Bermudabella

Because they are just jealous

jgrant68

I love my Jeep until I’m in the middle of working on some stupid fix like replacing the oil cooler. I’m pissed during that time because I inevitably break something. But then I finish and I’m happy again. I get why people would try to talk us out of owning a Jeep. They can be unreliable and they aren’t comfy. And to some degree it’s just throwing money away. On the other hand, I overall enjoy it and that means flaws and all.

Vast-Mousse-9833

Don’t have anything else. Won’t have anything else. Anyone who advises you otherwise is not your friend

TDuctape

You deserve the jeep. Live life to the fullest. Be happy.

They’re just jelly of everything jeep…they wish they had the jeep mentality, you know… that would allow them to enjoy the jeep lifestyle because they’re just so damn uptight and rigid. They wish they could take their roofs and doors off without feeling so exposed and venerable. They wish they liked the mechanical music that muds make while going down the road or were able to judge their wear by the change of tone. They wish someone would wave at them once in awhile or understand how proud you are over your shiny new custom made driveshaft…they wish they got it but they’ll never get it.

Stielgranate

Just get the jeep. I daily a 2004 WJ 4.0L While it does not have the looks of a wrangler it is still a pretty capable wagon. Does everything I plan to do with it and has way more space when you fold the seats down and has a larger roof rack area.

Cyb3rTruk

You can fit just as many kids in an Unlimited wrangler as you can a CRV. CRV might have the edge on safety, but not by a large margin. I have 3 kids under 6yrs and they fit fine with plenty of room.

SIIHP

Have a TJ, a JK, an 18 month old and had 2 dogs that were 210 and 180 lbs. The massive dog passed, still have the 180 lbs dog. 4 door wrangler is the family hauler. It works great. Was a bit tight with both dogs but with one its fine. It was basic maintenance till it developed lifter tick at 150k. Replaced the engine at 165k even though it was still ticking along just fine. Otherwise its only been standard maintenance. Let them drive their boring cars and get what you want. Lifes too short to let others dictate your vehicle choice.

BillyFrank75

They’re just jealous.

Otherwise-Magician

Because non jeep owners don't "get it".

4cls

I'd take my 06 TJ over a few VW's I've owned any day. Do they have some issues? Yes... but so easy to work on.

anArchy91

I’d say especially with that price range you can get a nice/semi decent XJ, tj, yj, wj, zj, and put what’s left over into it. These were all fairly common reliable jeeps that are still around today. Sure they’re all 20+ years old now, but many parts are interchangeable between them and in my honest opinion they’re still more reliable than some of the newer models with all the electronics (they were never popular with their wiring to begin with….) depending on where you are you shouldn’t have issues in finding something good. Just check for rust and leaks. Final point, it’s whatever you want for yourself. Unless anyone else wants to help you pay for it, their opinions don’t matter.

GiuliaAquaTofanaToo

I now have a Jeep and a FJ40 in my driveway. It's the happiest I've been, and the saddest my wallet's ever been.

Professional_Toe4538

I love my mall crawler! Yeah I said it….except I do my shopping online.

CaptainJay313

it's a jeep thing, they wouldn't understand. for real. nothing has been as practical AND fun as my wrangler(s). I wouldn't drive anything else.

xT1TANx

Do what you want. Ignore the haters

GootSkoot

Get the Jeep! You can fix stuff yourself, which you can’t do on any of the new stuff.. also, kids fit in a JKU!

Run_sparky_run

Family and friends tried to talk me out of my Wrangler. Got 260,000 miles out of it despite off roading

Imsophunnyithurts

My sister was a service advisor at a Jeep dealership once. Many of the idiots who'd bring their Jeep in for service after they dragged their stock JK or JL through 4ft deep mud and water pits and be angry that their electronics were glitching out. Or rock crawl a factory stock Jeep and wonder why the drivetrain or suspension was roasted. If you care for your Jeep and don't exceed the mechanical limits it's been designed or at least modded for, they'll last a while. Sure, there will *always* be that cracked plastic oil filter housing on the 3.6L motors and other things that break, but they *reliably* break and are known by mechanics who routinely fix them and the parts are usually not impossible or difficult to get.

crujones76

Get another Jeep, they are amazing. The end

mybeardisawesome

I've had 27 Jeeps. From Levi Edition CJ-7's to WJ's. Most I bought to flip but drove them for a few weeks to make sure everything was good to go. My last Jeep was a Freedom Edition WJ that I drove for almost 10yrs but I was hit head on on Christmas day by a guy who ran a stop sign and sadly it was totalled. I talked myself out of buying another WJ and bought a Dakota instead. There are times that I regret it and times that I dont. Miss being in a Jeep though. If you want another Jeep, buy it. Other people aren't driving it, you are. You are the only one who has to be happy and satisfied with your vehicle.

Caqtus95

Because Jeeps are objectively terrible cars. I can say that with confidence because I own one.

Diablo3crusader

Live your life, and don’t look back. Do what brings you joy!

Deathbygoomba

This sounds wrong on a Jeep sub. I love my Jeep, but them new broncos look niiice

Weird-Effect-8382

I love my wranglers, and love my 4runner. I would trust my 11 4runner over my 13 wrangler for a xc trip from coast to coast, but I’m working to get my wrangler there. My last wrangler was a stock 08 and pretty flawless besides typical wear items. Sold at 140k and running was running very well- my 13 was bought lifted on 37’s and lightly abused, and I’m working to bring it back to reliability- and closer to stock- I could have bought another Prius, or Subaru or many other practical cars, but I just wanted another Jeep after driving practical vehicles for years when I drove a ton- probably not the right choice, but that’s why the wife has the 4runner- and I have AAA premiere

ComfortableAd2402

Because let’s be honest, they do nothing very well. They’re not entirely practical they don’t get the best gas mileage. They’re not the most comfortable they’re not the most luxurious or spacious or anything. That being said they are fun and a blast to drive and takeoff road.

grandcherokee2

Well, many people have had bad Jeeps, but they’re not all bad. Also because Chrysler built a reputation for itself for having poor reliability (decades ago). Just research which ones to stay away from, and which ones are generally regarded as good. You can find a laundry list of issues with any car make and model depending on where/how you research. Reading as many owners reviews as you can helps, but be careful to understand the contexts of the platform the reviews are own. For example, Facebook car groups are generally used by people troubleshooting or wanting to complain, so of course every other post is going to be a complaint or question about a problem. I like to read reviews on cars.com, but you have to read a ton of them to get a fair idea, not just two or three, or only the good, or only the bad. I’d stay away from the 2.4L Tigershark 4 cylinder, but wouldn’t hesitate to buy a V8 or V6 model, as long as I knew what the factor maintenance standards were and could verify that all recommended maintenance had been done. They aren’t vehicles I would expect to accumulate 200K - 300k miles without a major issue, but definitely think they can go way over 100K without a hitch.

Smuggler-Tuek

Yeah I heard the same stuff. Some people like boring, comfortable, forgettable vehicles because that’s all they see them as good for. However my jeep wasn’t bought for that, it was to go off-road. I’ll trade every ounce of road comfort if it helps out on the trails. Also, I have 3 kids so I can confidently say the kid argument is moot. Kids love jeeps.

OldManJeepin

If I let someone talk me out of buying my first Jeep, I probably would never have had a Jeep at all. Once I got it: I was hooked! Just like crack! Why listen to them at all? Simply do what you want and be happy with it. Of course, you will have to listen to their shit when something goes wrong with it but...Nothing ever went wrong with \*their\* choice in vehicles? Hard to believe....

Rockdemon696

Normies suck and even Chrysler themselves have refereed to the core Wrangler customer base as "the lunatic fringe" near the end of the Daimler era. Ignore it.

Trypt2k

I mean obviously you should get another Jeep, what kind of weirdos are talking to? I've never had a "real" Jeep, what I mean is I've only had the Grand Cherokee and still do, but man would I love to have an offroad animal, and one day I will.

SeismicWhales

They're really fun cars but I found my TJ wildly inconvenient 90% of the time after my partner and I moved in together and we got a dog. The original problems I had with it were: **•** Bad gas mileage for anything outside of the city. **•** Small amount of storage space with 2 people and a dog in the car for stuff like weekend camping. **•** It's loud at speeds over 65MPH and over 75MPH my partner and I couldn't hear each other talk. **•** Cramped drivers seat I'm 6ft 2in and my knees were always touching the bottom of the dashboard even with the seat adjusted all the way back. **•** Can't hear my music when I'm going over 75MPH **•** Very bumpy ride sometimes, most of this is caused by the short wheelbase. I did love a few things about my TJ and miss now that I have a different car. **•** Maintenance, there's so much room in the engine bay and even without a lift I could lay on the ground to get to the undercarriage. **•** The community, the Jeep Wave people do and occasionally finding ducks on my TJ made my day. **•** It's just fun to drive. I felt like I was zipping around (under 40MPH) and could easily pop curbs if I needed to make a right turn in traffic. I feel like it also had a really tight turning radius so U-turns were nice. Overall, I really liked my TJ but since my partner's car died, it was no longer a suitable vehicle for both of us so I sold it and got a different car. If my partners car hadn't died I think I would've kept it as a fun and easy to maintain/work on car is something I want.

kilroy-was-here-2543

If you want a wrangler buy a wrangler. Life is too short to be disappointed driving around in a CRV if you have the money and want a jeep

FurkinLurkin

Bc misery loves company

JeepSparky42

Sure the CRV and escape are comfy and ride smooth. You don't have to worry about death wobble. But that crv or escape are gonna fie at what 180k or 200k at the most. I don't see high mile crvs and escapes that are not trash and or barely running. But they do ride very quiet and nice on the roads. I wouldn't take either off road. So then we have Jeep. I am a grand cherokee fan myself. ZJ and WJ so like 93 to 2004 I believe. I own and daily a 94 ZJ 2.5in lift. 235/65r15 could go a little bigger but these do better driving in Denver metro. We take the ugly jeep everywhere. It's a Frankenstein monstrosity with 261k miles on it and running strong. My jeep is covered in trail scars and has replaced panels from the junkyard. But I'd drive it to Florida and back tomorrow if I needed too. I don't think I would trust a comparable crv or escape would do the same. A wrangler would tho and if your going to spend 15k to 20k on a wrangler. You're gonna wanna own it for a long time, I would atleast. Also it would be alot nicer then my ugly ZJ. If you want to appease the naysayers in your family look at toyota. But like don't be like everyone else and get a 4 runner. Get an AWD sienna. Yes the mini van. And put a lift on it with 31s and be like it's for the family. And I'll never get stuck in the snow. Or almost anywhere.

est1-9-8-4

As a first Gen compass owner I dunno what you’re all talking about when it comes to maintenance and negligence. My car still runs and I’m terrible at changing fluids. My suspension makes a variety of noises when I get in the car. Still goes straight on the highways. I haul stuff for work and definetly overload it but the cheap interior is so easy to shop vac and wipe down. While I’ve had plenty of wire harness related headaches, my youtube mechanical skills still manage to save the day so I’ll give you that…electrical on these things just terrible. the body rusting to death mixes well with all the scratches and dents. Anyways yah I’m gonna by a 2dr wrangler one of these days I’m just not looking for a car to baby and worry about. I like jeeps, you can beat them up and they keep going at least that’s my experience with them.

YarboGazair

I’m looking at getting my first and I’m getting pelted with “they’re not reliable”. But I want rubber duckies. So we will see 👀

enlitenme

I figure I've had jeeps for so long that I have nothing to compare it to for reliability. Not many people in my life are driving 10+ year old vehicles, so of course I look like I'm always breaking down.

[deleted]

Why do you let others’ opinions affect your decisions? Why anyone would be against someone else responsibly purchasing something that gives them joy? That’s fuck boi/gurl behavior. Wave them off silly

Coffeesavestheday

Honestly! I am relatively newer to being a Jeeper. I bought a *new to me* 2021 Cherokee Trailhawk last year.. I’ve been looking into options on upgrading to Wrangler; I’ve wanted one ever since I can remember. I have SO many people who try to talk me outta it. I’m so stubborn I refuse to hear the negatives. I’m sure if someone drove every single car brand out there they will find something wrong with each car/make/model.

Famous-Front-6084

Jeep slander is so overplayed these days. My 2015 JK is running like a top at over 170k miles and has seen plenty of trail time and hard use. Had the typical oil cooler and pump troubles but well past 100k miles and hasn’t skipped a beat since. Never seen a single sight that they’re any less reliable than all the others being produced today.

byndhlp

Maybe because they know deep inside *they* couldn't handle it and they are projecting that onto you as some sort of misguided friendly gesture.

LongApprehensive890

Just buy the jeep.

Caeedil

Do what makes you happy and be done with it. The bonus is you know how to work on your stuff so buying an older Jeep is not a big deal

Bergatron25

I have a 2005 Tj and a 23 JL. Had CJs and YJs growing up. Wrench myself… I don’t know what crowd you run with lol

Oklahoma_is_OK

Jeeps are fun as hell and I love Jeeps. But most people in r/personalfinance would tell you a thousand reasons not to get one -other than retaining resale value. Maybe you’re mishearing the people in your life. Are you financially secure? 6 months of emergency savings in the bank? Invested for retirement appropriately for your age? If you’re not, I’d wager the folks who are down talking your purchase are doing some from a veiled place of “this is not money smart for you at your age and stage of life.” Don’t take it personally.

Aggressive-Jacket579

I get this same kind of hate from my family. Before I purchased my second jeep. Everyone just kept on the negatives. I also shared the wrenching on your own Jeep life. I always ignore everyone and there hate, they'll never understand and I'll never try to convince them. My Jeep makes me happy and I enioy it. With that, it is super ironic to me how my jeep has quite literally outlived most of my families cars. With the exception of my distant family with a 99' corolla lol.

Scrotasticle

Do you burn money as a hobby? Or do you enjoy throwing money into a bottomless pit?? Why give money to company who willing screws you over to sell an image? Maybe if people stopped buying their junk the brand would improve.

Remarkable_Money_369

It’s simple, they hatin! Show me someone that has actually owned a Jeep saying that.

WranglerSKC

Chrysler bad. You know who else bad? Ford. Chevy. Dodge. All their subsidiaries. Even golden children like Toyota and Honda have their issues. The biggest deal about buying your next vehicle is (1) getting a good price for (2) something YOU LOVE. Even though opinions are welcome, this will be YOUR vehicle, YOU need to love it. Common sense is great, but opinions are like assholes. Fuck it, use your brain but also follow your heart!!!

2SpinningTriangles

I daily my O4 TJ. I bought it with 58k miles and she now has over 160k. Its 20 years old. I take it everywhere and anywhere. Things wear out and stuff breaks. Not often but sometimes they do. The AC compressor went out towards the end of spring. The heater core had been leaking for a couple years. I put several hundred dollars and spent a weekend replacing the entire AC system and core. Jeep works perfect. I use it when the top is on and its raining or need defrost. Its paid for. When repairs start costing more than monthly payments, ill get another one. I dont like the looks of newer models. I love the simplicity of my TJ. Only buttons it has is on the stereo. That tj is part of me, who i am. Always had muscle cars or trucks. Bought that jeep and knew right away that i belonged behind the wheel. My mom knows its my pride and joy, but shes also a car enthusiast. The girl im with absolutely loves riding in it top and doorless. Theres no way id let anyone talk me into something different. Hell i was married at the time when i purchased the TJ. She demanded for it to be automatic because she wanted to drive it. I bought a manual. Theres very rare times i wish i had a nice newer vehicle that is quiet and cozy inside. Something that isnt rough or rowdy on the roads. Theres just nothing like aummer days cruising Kentucky back roads with no doors, top down, music cranked on a cloudless day. Those days im the happiest person on Earth

Quick_Dark244

You’ve already owned 3 nobody should be able to change your mind either way . You would know best I’m sure

MacintoshEddie

Part of it is misunderstanding of where and why the issues happen. After all how many people driving a minivan look at a forest trail filled with jagged rocks down a hillside ending in hip deep mud and yell "Witness me!" as they hit the gas straight for it. People tend to drive Jeeps in ways that most vehicles don't get driven, so of course they have engine issues when you're in a mud pit that's higher than the floor mats, or when you try to landscape a hillside with your front bumper. Plus, having a minor malfunction 4 hours into the woods and having to fight a bear is not quite the same as having a malfunction in your driveway and taking a taxi to work and the problem costing fifteen minutes and fifty bucks to fix.

d3amoncat

I am 54 yrs old. I have wanted a wrangler since I was 9 it was my dream car. I got my first jeep, a liberty, in 06. Then replaced it with a renegade in 2015. In both cases I got the jeep I needed, not the one I wanted. My Dad learned to LOVE jeeps. He was the one who lived by consumer reports and often wondered why they hated jeeps. When he died he left me the money to get any one I wanted. I have since modded it and I offroad. Do what YOU want and to hell with anyone else.

carverboy

It sounds like a truck would be more practical. But it’s a big purchase and it should be what you want. You should get what you want. Don’t let people talk you out of your happiness.

frknvgn

Because we ALL talked and made a joint and unanimous decision.

nottheotherone4

I had 3 different JKs (12,15, and 17) over 4 years of daily driving and had 1 radiator crack and 1 battery die. The 15 was lifted and all the brodozer stuff but the other 2 were pretty stock. Maintenance and having the ability to address little things before they become big things makes a huge difference. No brand is immune to catastrophic failure but also no brand is out there using parts they know will fail.

No_Fortune_2396

Because they’re junk

Man-a-saurus

Dude, work remote??? Yes Jeep life is the best life. I've commuted forever in beat up wranglers, not very pleasant. But weekend runs to hike, camp or just to grab coffee are the best.

Ok-Science-6146

Do you go to Moab? Have you driven other car brands?

enlitenme

I've had an escape, an outback, and an elantra before jeeps. Not in the right country for Moab, and no decent offroading for hours from me.

Say_Hennething

Ask this question on the auto mechanics subs. I realize that reddit has an echo chamber problem, but the typical opinion of people who work on cars is that Jeeps aren't reliable, mechanically speaking.

Similar_Device7574

New jeeps are shit. Get one with a 4.0

brisket_curd_daddy

Get an older model Porsche Cayenne

enlitenme

My partner would sure approve of that choice!

Kgaines

I own a 2012 Rubicon, original purchaser, and still love her, despite all of the electrical issues/parts shortages. However, if I was to buy another, I would go with a TJ for the above reasons. If you've got jeep fever, do what you gotta do, but I would recommend a decent Tacoma for reliability, ride comfort and utility.

Vegetable-Squirrel98

It's all perception and trade offs, get what you like, if I wanted to do all that, I'd probably get a new Nissan frontier in 2024, or a late v6 Tacoma

VoodooDonKnotts

It's simple, if they're not mechanics or engineers then don't worry about it. People think they know things about cars but most really don't, they just regurgitate tired tropes they hear from others without actually researching or having any real world first hand knowledge. Are Jeeps reliable?...they're not known for it but that's not why you buy a Jeep, it's why you buy a Camry. You buy a Jeep because you like Jeeps and/or because what they can offer in versatility and off-road capability. Drive what you want, once it's out of warranty make sure you have some "emergency fund" money to fix things as they pop up and you should be fine. Everyone warned me from getting a 3 series when I was younger because the "transmission will die at 60k", it had 184k on the trans when I got rid of it...original trans, ran like a dream, sold it to a kid who was excited to get it. I still miss it.

ProperSalivation

As a Jeep owner, jeeps are the worst vehicles in the US. Build quality is horrendous, and it’s only gotten worse since the JK. Motors are full of issues, the TIPM system is terrible. No reason to buy a Jeep unless you need one For crawling

Budget_Curve_9151

I loved my JL…sarge green, diesel. Loved it. It spent 8 months out of the 14 I owned it in the shop. It was depressing. They bought it back from me for slightly more than I paid for it. That’s why people say it. I hope you get one, enjoy it and have 0 issues with it. Me personally? Never again.

No_Nature_2478

Jeeps are pretty unreliable

StarMasher

Because Jeeps are a POS and you would get better reliability out of a Lada. I have a friend with a 2022 that has broken down over 3 times now and borrows my other buddies 70s Cadillac to get around.

imanasshole1331

True Jeep drivers don’t care about opinions. They’re one of the most enjoyable vehicles when used correctly and one of the worst for long distance driving or nasty weather. But a blast in the snow. so fu

lurker-1969

Some of us are just Jeep people. My daughters and I are 5 Jeeps in aging from 1997 to 2020 and no complaints out of the ordinary maintenance wise. You Do You.

OriginalBig574

I say that's not your tribe, you don't need that kind of negativity in your life..get the Jeep.

Uizahawtmess

I have a jku. I had a Tj. I loved my Tj. Like loved it. I regret every day I sold it. The jku makes me say flat out I will never as long as I live ever under any circumstances known to man buy another mopar product ever again. It’s so bad I won’t spend my money on a ram. As far as I’m concerned jeeps died with the Tj. I’m so mad thinking about it rt now I can’t even type my level of frustration with my current jku. Which still has an engine light on and overheats with 60k miles. NEVER AGAIN.

Uizahawtmess

They are the most fun car to own. Hands down. But go buy a Tj. Nothing newer.

Individual_Ad_3036

I bought my TJ new in 2000, before that I had a Comanche. Thats 20 years without a car payment. I do my own wrenching. even with the upgrades a transmission and longblock, it's the least expensive car i've ever owned per-year. 15MPG is disappointing with current prices. The wife doesn't like the ride on the street or highway (funny she doesn't complain off-road). It's loud, a little better with the hard top on but loud. Originally I started driving trucks because I couldn't afford the speeding tickets i was collecting. The jeeps just felt good, took a tiny bit more skill and attention. I Just enjoy driving without having to look for thrills. If I want thrills, there's no shortage of trails that provide a challenge.

Tuna_Finger

People have their preferences and are stupid. Anything you buy is going to be reliable. All vehicles are so good now it doesn’t matter. I will say jeeps hold their value better than most vehicles. I’ve got a 94 zj with 280,000 miles and still going. My wife had a wj coming up in 200k before she was hit and totaled. I’m currently driving a 2014 wk2 with 180k that’s still going strong. To be honest I want a Tacoma but I’m not willing to pay the outrageous price. If you’re number one focus is reliability then buy a Toyota or Lexus. Otherwise get the Jeep. I will only drive jeeps and Toyotas for the rest of my life.

Potential-Ad1090

If you’re not off-roading or on your way to off-road, there’s absolutely nothing better than other vehicles about a jeep, they cost more in every way, minus stuff that’d be replaced to lift it. And handle worse. A jeep is a second vehicle that’s it.

Absoluterock2

Tacoma? JK So what you want…just be honest with yourself about things.

Happytobutwont

Jeeps are great for people who are inclined to repair their own vehicles. They aren't reliable compared to other vehicles. All that being said if you love one you love one. I had a jeep and loved it until it started rusting under the paint and I had to quick sell it. Ended up with a Toyota and never looked back after finding out that other cars go fast when you hit the gas pedal lol.

PlanXerox

Get a Subaru Forester like me....then go full dad bod.....like me🤣 Also, I'm a 23 year Jeep guy (2 currently, 2 previously).

Aggravating-Raisin-7

Prob gonna get down-voted and have you all call my dog ugly, but I'm gonna say it. Take a Bronco for a spin. I was a long time Jeep guy (my first, second, and fourth vehicles were all some variation of a Wrangler). Hell, I had an order in for a 2022, but took a Bronco for a spin and was immediately converted.

Cautious_District699

The only thing wrong is all the damn ducks. Jeeps were great until the Jeep herpes ducks… if these other vehicles are so great why don’t they have all the cool aftermarket add on’s that wranglers have? I think that’s why some people hate the wranglers so much is they’re jealous of all the cool toys jeeps can have. That being said my 2012 JK is far more reliable for checking cows than my Polaris Ranger’s. And yes I had a CJ7 for my first vehicle and I flipped it.🫣🤠I traded it for a Cherokee 🥴

Due-Fix9857

Simple answer here, follow your heart not someone else's.

ApprehensiveBake1560

Get a Jeep. It is you that have to be happy with what you drive, not them.

ScottyAmen

>I GET that jeeps suck in some ways. I obviously know this by now … I can't imagine having anything else. You personify the “It’s a Jeep thing: you wouldn’t understand” mantra.  Get your next Jeep.

Lonely_Plastic_574

I have owned 2 jeep wranglers, 2 worst vehicles I ever owned. I would stay away.. especially now that stellantis owns them.
