The button is missing as well as the contact parts. Crown Automotive (52001889K) makes a repair kit but it should be a GM part as well. (I'd guess '70-80s C10 or just about any car.) I didn't know YJs had a shifter on the column. I go CJ7, TJ, and JLU and the only YJ I rode in was a manual.

But, yeah, my CJ7 has a couple more parts on there and one is a big metal flange I can push to activate the horn. I don't see that there.
Replace that aftermarket steering wheel with an OEM. Doesn't the OEM also have an air bag? Unless you don't want to live...

Missing. The center of the steering wheel is missing. Thats where the horn is located.
The horn is usually in the engine bay

On mine, that plastic sleeve had a wire poking out, I had to rub that on my steering wheel metal to honk the horn 😂
Previous owner of my YJ wired the horn to a button on the dash .. any buttons on your dash that you don’t know what they’re for?
No all the buttons and switches work but I could probably add a new one

That's a stock wheel. No air bags on YJs.
