If that was suede, yeah… that toe box has likely crossed the ol’ Rainbow Bridge. Sorry. That’s beyond a splash or two right there.

Temporary_Pepper2081

I think they tried to clean their few splashes with a lot more splashes before coming here and fucked their shoes up lol

Allahboutdabenjamins

Lmaooo this escalated so much from the first post. I know this isn’t funny but gotdam bro

cjholl22

I’m glad you caught that too lol

Boyong23

It happened to me, too. It rained hard that day, and whole shoes were wet. But I let it dry before using it again. I did nothing and came back to its original color.

ImForzyzz

Someone spilled water on my shoes (a lot). How long did you wait?

bootyswag-

Bud it’s all good, chill. I have the same pair. And I had horrid creasing in that exact part. I used steamer and a wet paper towel to iron that material and get it back to looking good. Just let it dry on its own and asses it then. I’m. It not sure why it looks scratched. But if you did that just relax. I also walked through a parking lot when it was raining and they look like this after steaming the toe box. Even if they have a little damage they still will look good just wear them they are shoes. https://preview.redd.it/qyncoknzlm7d1.jpeg?width=2540&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=efadc9f9252e3e3d4b66a7f7d133c974dfec1449

ImForzyzz

It’s dry, do I put the steamer over the paper towel?

bootyswag-

Sorry on mobile. Thought I replied to this comment but didn’t , you will see the reply if you look through the comments.

Get a low sandpaper or something for scuffing suede and it will bring it back like timberlands

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 sorry bro

NewSuperMarioBro

Good luck. I got rid of this pair because of how hard it is to repair the suede after it has gotten wet. I bought a suede eraser kit and followed a YouTube video but it is too much work and I don’t know what the hell I’m doing so I sold them.

GeordieRevolution

These are cooked mate, I wish I had an answer for you I really do, just feel like you need to take an L on these, happens to the best of us. Even crep or reshoevenator can’t save these. Sorry broski

matrix--mega

You could have saved them if you didn't burn these with your plancha

bootyswag-

Well this is the process I use to remove creases and maybe it will help with your situation, I have a mini steamer that has a hot plate on it like an iron. I get a paper towel moist and fold it over so it’s thicker. Then I use the steamer to iron out the toe box. Try to not get the sued wet around the toe box. (I stuff the shoe with a cloth so the toe box is tight) Go slowly and make sure not to hold it too long in one place. Some people use a wet rag to be safer, but it will take longer for the heat to travel through to the shoe. Take your time try not to heat up one spot for too long.
