That's the thing, Yuji is my second favourite character. I just don't have the same connection to him though as I have with Kashimo. Just feels like a different level which makes it suck so much more. I will never abandon him, though, and will always uphold the agenda, no matter the cost, even if it kills me. They could not torture me in Guantanamo bay, or wherever, bad enough to get me to give up my lightning god. Note the use of the word “electricity”, not lightning. And fair play, I was wrong, electricity moves at anywhere from 50-90% the speed of light given the wire conducting it. Given that kashimo is literally MADE of it though, I think 90% is a fair estimate (299,792,458m/s x 0.9 = 269,813,212.2m/s which is still stupid fast)
He's not riding a wire though. He's rushing Sukuna, through regular air. And if he's doing that, aspects of electrical discharge come into play. This sort of thing is why the appeal of the shonen genre is waning on me; I know too much STEM to just turn off my brain & enjoy it.

That's the thing, Yuji is my second favourite character. I just don't have the same connection to him though as I have with Kashimo. Just feels like a different level which makes it suck so much more. I will never abandon him, though, and will always uphold the agenda, no matter the cost, even if it kills me. They could not torture me in Guantanamo bay, or wherever, bad enough to get me to give up my lightning god. People really don't understand how fast it is so they say any character that is stated to be fast in any story is light speed which is laughable. It can travel around the world 7 times PER SECOND. Even though his fight with Hakari would have been “weird” for saying the best I can, his fight with Sukuna would completely lost the impact. Watching a Old Man turning into Amber Mythical Beast would be weird. But even worse, watching a Grown Ass Man fighting a 4 Armed Mf would simply feel not right. I like the design, but it doesn’t match with the explosive personality of Kashimo.
