I agree that he doesn't win, but realistically speaking we don't know Muzan's true strength or speed. If he's in his prime, leaving the radius of Malevolent Shrine could actually be feasible, and that's not to mention that Muzan's regeneration is just... kinda insane? As in, better than Hakari's insane. If he ain't exposed to sunlight, nothing short of a Fuga could potentially kill him.
Sukuna's best option would be to clear out the surrounding environment to create very few hiding spots and then either stall to make sure Muzan gets killed via sunlight or to somehow pin Muzan down. In the case of the latter, either waiting for the sun to rise again is the better idea or casting Fuga would be better, as Muzan hasn't demonstrated the ability to come back from ashes.
I feel like heās more than a plot device because he has tons of personality and charisma, a moving goalpost mirroring Goku and Vegetaās endless persuit of strength.

There are some *very few, very specific* instances of the Gojo vs Sukuna fight where Yuta could've jumped in and given Gojo the win-con.
However, that **does not** mean he could've held his own in the middle of the fight. Yuta jumping in would've been like an ant walking amidst dancing elephants. Only way he could contribute is with a sneak attack (Domain Expansion) to put the nail on Sukuna's coffināany other student would've been instantly wiped out.

I LOVE JJK, itās probably my 2nd favorite anime/manga of all time, but no, most character canāt beat anyone higher than city level (except haxes like infinity, UV, mahitoās soul manipulation, comedian, or WCS)
I especially hate seeing the whole Special Grade is country level because of Kenny statement. Taking over a country is not the same as wiping it off the map
General consensus I've seen is that Grade 1s are building level m, Special Grades are like Multi-City Block Level (According to some obscure VSBW feat that nobody can cite) and Gojo and Sukuna like Town - City level
nah it doesn't work like that. Like, Jogo has shown that even just top tier special grades can already deal a lot of damage (unless we assume that meteor is a comically overpowered attack and would one shot anyone not named Gojo or Sukuna
He's top 2 cursed spirits and only based on zero Rika (who was almost certainly nerfed for the main story) but there are a bunch of characters who should definitively at least be able to match meteor, just for the story to make sense. Again, it would be absurd if Meteor was just THAT strong without the other top tiers like Kenjaku, Yuta, Yuki etc. at least being able to unleash attacks on a similar level, it would genuinely push Jogo to the top3 spot by itself, even as a glass canon

Based take OP. Toji is set up/build up for what Maki can become (would become). The whole idea of not having cursed energy but still being a badass comes from her, not Toji. The only thing Toji reveals is that having zero cursed energy is much different than having almost none. Which enables Maki to have a power-up that matches her situation, instead of saying she just trained and got as good as all the other sorcerers with their insane CTs and what not.
Anytime I see an argument with Gojo against characters outside of JJK, theyāre like āpurple obliteratesā because they think that itās instant deletionā¦ purple is just pulling and pushing all at once

1. She didn't solo them. They were in a battle against the Fujiwara and she turned the tables by joining the battle with her new mastered CT. A nothing burger basically.
2. No idea how you would even come to this conclusion though. It was 1 squad on par with the squad Uro LED. You can certainly argue that the entire group was stronger than Uro individually, but Uro was the leader, it would make 0 sense for each individual in the group yorozu helped take out to be equal to her
Yorozu is literally stated to have CE on par with heian big names and her mastery over her CT should only put it around the same level as theirs.
Toji could maybe barely fit in. Sukuna/Gojo > Kenjaku/Yuta > Toji/Maki could be a somewhat reasonable take. I'd put Kashimo, Mahoraga and Yuki above him, though.
As for Yuta, do you mean he could or couldn't beat him? I'd actually assume he could solo him at his current level during Gojo vs Sukuna, but only in an extreme diff battle. I think the main reason he let Takaba do the heavy lifting is, because he'd be in no shape to fight Sukuna after fighting Kenjaku.

I mean, narratively speaking, I do think we are close to Sukuna's death. He's not wheezing as gasping at the moment, but the fight has been going on for a very long time by now, Yuji seems to have his hand literally around Sukuna's heart, and Gojo just appeared (although I do think that it's just the ghost/hallucination thing, his arrival is still a bad omen for Sukuna). He has an insane amount of CE left and the potential for a domain fight, but outside of that it does look like we're nearing the end.
Sukuna allowed the fight to go on because he wanted to test Mahoragaās durability and purposely didnt use his innate technique. Idky some people dont read properly

Bro WAS struggling for a while against all of them, and the only reason he survived is because he played his resources very carefully and spread them out as much as he can throughout the whole fight. Hiding RCT + Making them fight each other + only manifesting Rika fully when he got stuck in a threeway battle.
The closest I can think of to a no diff in that fight is using RCT against the Cockroach, and the only reason why he even got that no-diff is because RCT is literally the perfect counter to Kurourushi. And even that, that mfer somehow survived and invaded their domains to fight them, so he had to kill him AGAIN using RCT (again) after Ryu severely wounded him.
And don't get me started on the whole Takaba and Kenjaku thing. He no-diffed, because he had planned the whole thing out beforehand to make sure he could get that kill because Kenjaku is one slippery mfer.
It's explicitly stated that sukuna just finetunes the amount of power he puts into it to not overexpend ce. He just also has more ce than almost anyone in the curse. But nope! He beats goku now.

JJK is higher than city level (outside of black hole and perfect sphere) I LOVE JJK, itās probably my 2nd favorite anime/manga of all time, but no, most character canāt beat anyone higher than city level (except haxes like infinity, UV, mahitoās soul manipulation, comedian, or WCS) I especially hate seeing the whole Special Grade is country level because of Kenny statement. Taking over a country is not the same as wiping it off the map

General consensus I've seen is that Grade 1s are building level m, Special Grades are like Multi-City Block Level (According to some obscure VSBW feat that nobody can cite) and Gojo and Sukuna like Town - City level
nah it doesn't work like that. Like, Jogo has shown that even just top tier special grades can already deal a lot of damage (unless we assume that meteor is a comically overpowered attack and would one shot anyone not named Gojo or Sukuna

He's top 2 cursed spirits and only based on zero Rika (who was almost certainly nerfed for the main story) but there are a bunch of characters who should definitively at least be able to match meteor, just for the story to make sense. Again, it would be absurd if Meteor was just THAT strong without the other top tiers like Kenjaku, Yuta, Yuki etc. at least being able to unleash attacks on a similar level, it would genuinely push Jogo to the top3 spot by itself, even as a glass canon

Based take OP. Toji is set up/build up for what Maki can become (would become). The whole idea of not having cursed energy but still being a badass comes from her, not Toji. The only thing Toji reveals is that having zero cursed energy is much different than having almost none. Which enables Maki to have a power-up that matches her situation, instead of saying she just trained and got as good as all the other sorcerers with their insane CTs and what not.

They were in a battle against the Fujiwara and she turned the tables by joining the battle with her new mastered CT. A nothing burger basically. 2. No idea how you would even come to this conclusion though. It was 1 squad on par with the squad Uro LED. You can certainly argue that the entire group was stronger than Uro individually, but Uro was the leader, it would make 0 sense for each individual in the group yorozu helped take out to be equal to her Yorozu is literally stated to have CE on par with heian big names and her mastery over her CT should only put it around the same level as theirs.
Toji could maybe barely fit in. Sukuna/Gojo > Kenjaku/Yuta > Toji/Maki could be a somewhat reasonable take. I'd put Kashimo, Mahoraga and Yuki above him, though. As for Yuta, do you mean he could or couldn't beat him? I'd actually assume he could solo him at his current level during Gojo vs Sukuna, but only in an extreme diff battle. I think the main reason he let Takaba do the heavy lifting is, because he'd be in no shape to fight Sukuna after fighting Kenjaku.

Saying Sukuna is on his death bed, even though the story says that he has half his original amount of CE and can spam Domain Expansion. Not including Yorozu in top 5 lists, she fought against 15 fingers Sukuna in 1 vs 1 and wasn't killed in seconds.
# Literally This. People do this so often it's unironically taken as gospel. "He's desperate", "he's so cooked", "on deaths door", completely forgetting the fact that he's been tanking relentless jumpings for the past 20+ chapters while still managing to put down a few people along the way.
I mean, narratively speaking, I do think we are close to Sukuna's death. He's not wheezing as gasping at the moment, but the fight has been going on for a very long time by now, Yuji seems to have his hand literally around Sukuna's heart, and Gojo just appeared (although I do think that it's just the ghost/hallucination thing, his arrival is still a bad omen for Sukuna). He has an insane amount of CE left and the potential for a domain fight, but outside of that it does look like we're nearing the end.
Sukuna allowed the fight to go on because he wanted to test Mahoragaās durability and purposely didnt use his innate technique. Idky some people dont read properly

Bro WAS struggling for a while against all of them, and the only reason he survived is because he played his resources very carefully and spread them out as much as he can throughout the whole fight. Hiding RCT + Making them fight each other + only manifesting Rika fully when he got stuck in a threeway battle. The closest I can think of to a no diff in that fight is using RCT against the Cockroach, and the only reason why he even got that no-diff is because RCT is literally the perfect counter to Kurourushi. And even that, that mfer somehow survived and invaded their domains to fight them, so he had to kill him AGAIN using RCT (again) after Ryu severely wounded him. And don't get me started on the whole Takaba and Kenjaku thing. He no-diffed, because he had planned the whole thing out beforehand to make sure he could get that kill because Kenjaku is one slippery mfer.

People that hand out special grade status without any actual thought none of these characters I've seen people label as special grade are, Uro and the hair blaster guy , Hakari, Toji, and even Choso?!?! If you actually compare these people to the special grades it's clear they aren't in the same league.
