The difference is that trans women are women and femboys are men. Most people who go to a subreddit like that are into guys, not women (or people like me who like men more than women). It's like if a guy went to a subreddit focused on porn of women and posted nudes, sure some people might appreciate it but most would be mad because that's not why they're on the subreddit. Also the trans women who post there are hyper-feminine due to HRT (something cis men usually don't do), and some even have boobs. So people who go there expecting cute boys are disappointed, also in my opinion it sets unrealistic beauty standards for femboys which can cause them to feel self-conscious.
