Nah, ground guide is facing a court martial for this for sure with today's military. Driver will probably be NJP'd even though regulations *specifically* state the ground guide takes first blame, vehicle commander takes second. Vehicle commander, being either a staff NCO or junior officer, will skate completely because it's too much work to hold them accountable since they're actually entitled competent legal representation unlike lower enlisted.
Then the driver's DEFINITELY facing a court martial and the vehicle commander that allowed it to move in the motorpool without one isn't skating. A staff NCO TC is probably facing a court martial as well and an officer would be getting a career-ending GOMOR. And the platoon sergeant is most likely being relieved for cause.
Nobody's getting out of this just doing pushups.
Sorry this has to be fake. The turret wouldn't punch through at that angle because the tank is moving straight forward it would punch a larger hole as the sloped barrel entered more and more wall. This looks like someone took a toothpick and poked it through the wall at and off angle.
I definitely have no firsthand experience with any kind of armor, but I believe the guns are generally counterbalanced to reduce the amount of effort it takes to elevate & depress the barrel (whether the elevation is power assisted or not). So I think it wouldn't be too hard for the wall to push the barrel upwards
Don't just blindly call things fake because at first glance it doesn't make sense. Take a few more steps to think about it.
If the turret punched through at a lower angle and it continued forward, it could have raised the front of the tank as it wedges it upwards. It would take a lot of force but depending on the construction of the building it may be taking the weight of the front of it.
Pretty impressive aim really, stuck it perfectly between the conduit and parallel wall. Little corrective physical training and some plaster and all will be well
